CONFESSION 8-31-18

As Catholics confession is something we did often. We told the priest the sins we committed so that we could be forgiven. The word confession normally is to tell or speak out to someone about something we did such as a crime, or sins so that we could feel relieved. Confession is really our declaration of our believe that we speak forth to honor God. We speak out the faith that is in our hearts. We proclaim the hidden truth of the gospel. The word confess means to say the same thing as, to agree with, to speak one language. We are caution to not speak out loud anything contrary to Gods word.

Confess really means to admit to acknowledge to say the same thing as God on earth as it is in heaven. When we confess and agree together we bring the whole government of heaven with us in agreement including Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

James 5:16 Make this your common practice: Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you can live together whole and healed. The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with. MSG

Rom 10:9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

10 For with the heart a person believes (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Christ) and so is justified (declared righteous, acceptable to God), and with the mouth he confesses (declares openly and speaks out freely his faith) and confirms [his] salvation. AMP

↕↕↕

Rom 10:9 Say the welcoming word to God "Jesus is my Master" embracing, body and soul, God's work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That's it. You're not "doing" anything; you're simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That's salvation.

10 With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: "God has set everything right between him and me!" MSG ↕↕↕

ROM 10;9 And what is Gods living message? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation.

10The heart that believes in him receives the gift of the righteousness of Godand then the mouth gives thanks to salvation. TPT

1 Tim 3:16 And great and important and weighty, we confess, is the hidden truth (the mystic secret) of godliness. He [God] was made visible in human flesh, justified and vindicated in the [Holy] Spirit, was seen by angels, preached among the nations, believed on in the world, [and] taken up in glory. AMP

↕↕↕

1 Tim 3:16 This Christian life is a great mystery, far exceeding our understanding, but some things are clear enough: He appeared in a human body, was proved right by the invisible Spirit, was seen by angels. He was proclaimed among all kinds of peoples, believed in all over the world, taken up into heavenly glory. MSG

↕↕↕

1 TIM 3:16 For the mystery of righteousness is truly amazing! He was revealed as a human being, and as our great High Priest in the Spirit Angels gazed upon him as a man and the glorious message of his kingly rulership is being preached to the nations! Many have believed in him and he has been taken back to heaven, and has ascended into the place of exalted glory in the heavenly realm. Yes, great is this mystery of righteousness! TPT

1 John 4:3 And every spirit which does not acknowledge and confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh [but would annul, destroy, sever, disunite Him] is not of God [does not proceed from Him]. This [nonconfession] is the [spirit] of the antichrist, [of] which you heard that it was coming, and now it is already in the world. AMP

2 John 1:7 For many imposters (seducers, deceivers, and false leaders) have gone out into the world, men who will not acknowledge (confess, admit) the coming of Jesus Christ (the Messiah) in bodily form. Such a one is the imposter (the seducer, the deceiver, the false leader, the antagonist of Christ) and the antichrist. AMP
