RECEIVE NOT BY WORKS 9-16-18 VIDEO SHAWN RECEIVE 2

We are asking that God will set us free from formula and works. Receive means to recognize what is genuine to acknowledge it. We received the Word. It is implanted and takes deep root and doesnt come and go. It is at work in us. So to receive means to allow what youve been given implanted inside you.

Sometimes it is difficult to let go of something in order to receive something better. In the old testament Abraham lay down Isaac but received far more. Receiving is like a seed in the ground it produces a harvest. Miracles are about receiving. Receiving what you lost coming back to you and addition.

Rom 11:29 For God's gifts and His call are irrevocable. [He never withdraws them when once they are given, and He does not change His mind about those to whom He gives His grace or to whom He sends His call.] AMP

↕↕↕

ROM 11:29 And when God chooses someone and graciously imparts gifts to him, they are never rescinded TPT

the grace-gifts and calling of God are void of regret and without change in purpose.

Gen 22:11 But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham! He answered, Here I am.

12 And He said, Do not lay your hand on the lad or do anything to him; for now I know that you fear and revere God, since you have not held back from Me or begrudged giving Me your son, your only son.

13 Then Abraham looked up and glanced around, and behold, behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. And Abraham went and took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering and an ascending sacrifice instead of his son!

14 So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided. AMP

Gen 22:17 In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your Seed (Heir) will possess the gate of His enemies,

18 And in your Seed [Christ] shall all the nations of the earth be blessed and [by Him] bless themselves, because you have heard and obeyed My voice. AMP

1 Thess 2:13 And we also [especially] thank God continually for this, that when you received the message of God [which you heard] from us, you welcomed it not as the word of [mere] men, but as it truly is, the Word of God, which is effectually at work in you who believe [exercising its superhuman power in those who adhere to and trust in and rely on it]. AMP

↕↕↕

1 Thess 2:13 And now we look back on all this and thank God, an artesian well of thanks! MSG ↕↕↕

1 THESS 2:13 This is why we continually thank God for your lives, because you received our message wholeheartedly. You embraced it not as the fabrication of men but as the word of God. And the word continues to be an energizing force in you who believe. TPT

Gal 1:11 For I want you to know, brethren, that the Gospel which was proclaimed and made known by me is not man's gospel [a human invention, according to or patterned after any human standard].

12 For indeed I did not receive it from man, nor was I taught it, but [it came to me] through a [direct] revelation [given] by Jesus Christ (the Messiah). AMP ↕↕↕

GAL 1:11 Beloved ones, let me say emphatically that the gospel entrusted to me was not given to me by any man.

AMP

Col 1:6 Which has come to you. Indeed, in the whole world [that Gospel] is bearing fruit and still is growing [by its own inherent power], even as it has done among yourselves ever since the day you first heard and came to know and understand the grace of God in truth. [You came to know the grace or undeserved favor of God in reality, deeply and clearly and thoroughly, becoming accurately and intimately acquainted with it.] AMP

1 Thess 1:5 For our [preaching of the] glad tidings (the Gospel) came to you not only in word, but also in [its own inherent] power and in the Holy Spirit and with great conviction and absolute certainty [on our part]. You know what kind of men we proved [ourselves] to be among you for your good. AMP
