GOD OR MAMMON WHO DO YOU WORSHIP 12-14-18 VIDEO ME WORSHIP

The definition of the word worship is to serve. To bow down before to take your identity from. Instead of just falling down and bowing before God on the outside, we worship and serve from the inside with all of our hearts.

Mammon means wealth, riches. It is not just as an object or a thing but mammon is an idol. The reaction to mammon is almost as if it had characteristics like a person. So who do you bow down before? Who owns your heart?

MATT 6:24 How could you worship two gods at the same time? You will have to hate one and love the other, or be devoted to one and despise the other. You cant worship the true God while enslaved to the god of money! TPT

Matt 6:24 No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stand by and be devoted to the one and despise and be against the other. You cannot serve God and mammon (deceitful riches, money, possessions, or whatever is trusted in). AMP

MATT 19:21 Jesus said to him, If you really want to be perfect, go immediately and sell everything you own. Give all your money to the poor and your treasure will be transferred into heaven. Then come back and follow me for the rest of your life.

22When the young man heard these words, he walked away angry, for he was extremely wealthy.

23Then Jesus turned to his disciples and said, Listen. Do you understand how difficult it is for the rich to enter into heavens kingdom realm? TPT

MATT 4:8 And the third time the accuser lifted Jesus up into a very high mountain range and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and all the splendor that goes with it.

9All of these kingdoms I will give to you, the accuser said, if only you will kneel down before me and worship me.

10But Jesus said, Go away, enemy! For the Scriptures say: Kneel before the Lord your Godand worship only him.

11At once the accuser left him, and angels suddenly gathered around Jesus to minister to his needs. TPT

Mark 14:3 And while He was in Bethany, [a guest] in the house of Simon the leper, as He was reclining [at table], a woman came with an alabaster jar of ointment (perfume) of pure nard, very costly and precious; and she broke the jar and poured [the perfume] over His head.

4 But there were some who were moved with indignation and said to themselves, To what purpose was the ointment (perfume) thus wasted?

5 For it was possible to have sold this [perfume] for more than 300 denarii [a laboring man's wages for a year] and to have given [the money] to the poor. And they censured and reproved her.

6 But Jesus said, Let her alone; why are you troubling her? She has done a good and beautiful thing to Me [praiseworthy and noble]. AMP

1 Tim 6:10 For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs. AMP

↕↕↕

1 TIM 8:10 Loving money is the first step toward all kinds of trouble. Some people run after it so much that they have given up their faith. Craving more money pushes them away from the faith into error, compounding misery in their lives! TPT

AMP

1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods) [from anything and everything that would occupy the place in your heart due to God, from any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be). AMP

10Manifest your kingdom realm,
and cause your every purpose to be fulfilled on earth, just as it is fulfilled in heaven.

11We acknowledge you as our Provider of all we need each day.

12Forgive us the wrongs we have done as we ourselves release forgiveness to those who have wronged us.

13Rescue us every time we face tribulation and set us free from evil. For you are the King who rules with power and glory forever. Amen. TPT

Eccl 8:12 Though a sinner does evil a hundred times and his days [seemingly] are prolonged [in his wickedness], yet surely I know that it will be well with those who [reverently] fear God, who revere and worship Him, realizing His continual presence.

13 But it will not be well with the wicked, neither will he prolong his days like a shadow, because he does not [reverently] fear and worship God. AMP

↕↕↕

Eccl 8:12 Even though a person sins and gets by with it hundreds of times throughout a long life, I'm still convinced that the good life is reserved for the person who fears God, who lives reverently in his presence,

13 and that the evil person will not experience a "good" life. No matter how many days he lives, they'll all be as flat and colorless as a shadow because he doesn't fear God. MSG

1 Cor 14:24 But if everyone is prophesying, and an unbeliever or one without the gift enters your meeting, he will be convicted by all that he hears and will be called to account,

Rev 19:10 Then I fell prostrate at his feet to worship (to pay divine honors) to him, but he [restrained me] and said, Refrain! [You must not do that!] I am [only] another servant with you and your brethren who have [accepted and hold] the testimony borne by Jesus. Worship God! For the substance (essence) of the truth revealed by Jesus is the spirit of all prophecy [the vital breath, the inspiration of all inspired preaching and interpretation of the divine will and purpose, including both mine and yours]. AMP

Phil 3:3 For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances. AMP

↕↕↕

Phil 3:3 For we have already experienced heart-circumcision, and we worship God in the power and freedom of the Holy Spirit, not in laws and religious duties. We are those who boast in what Jesus Christ has done, and not in what we can accomplish in our own strength. TPT

1 Chron 16:29 Shout Bravo! to his famous Name, lift high an offering and enter his presence! Stand resplendent in his robes of holiness!

30 God is serious business, take him seriously; he's put the earth in place and it's not moving.

31 So let heaven rejoice, let earth be jubilant, and pass the word among the nations, "God reigns!" MSG

John 4:23 But the time is coming it has, in fact, come when what you're called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. "It's who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That's the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.

24 God is sheer being itself Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration." MSG

↕↕↕
