He rescues us because he delights in us. Rescues means to preserve us from loss or danger set us free from suffering. The light we provide a true source of joy and pleasure for the Lord. He is proud of us like a father is of their newborn baby even though the baby doesnt do anything to deserve it just looks cute to the parents.
