OUR POWER IS THE MANIFEST PRESENCE OF GOD 10-13-19 VIDEO

On Pentecost those waiting were filled with power. They were filled with the manifest presence of God. He came upon them and filed them and never left them. Theres a difference between God being everywhere and Gods manifest presence being upon us. The result of the manifest presence of God in the lives of the disciples was the power to turn the whole world upside down. Manifest presence of God in his presence is where he reveals himself as one with the personality and feelings. Gods manifest power reveals God to us in a tangible way. Jesus was the manifest presence of God during his ministry on earth. When God manifest his presence he reveals his glory. He doesnt just want us to know about him but to experience him. His manifest presence changes us. It changes our motives. When we meet with God something changes in us.

Paul saw Jesus on the Damascus Road it was forever changed. And yet he still pressed in for more of the manifest presence of God. It leaves you hungry for more it gives you the power to change circumstances. The manifest presence of God in the Old Testament kind of came and went. When the Holy Spirit was given he became the manifest power of God in us. Because he is God. And he remains with us forever. The manifest presence of God the power of the Holy Spirit is for us and for our children.

3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush is not burned.

4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called to him out of the midst of the bush and said, Moses, Moses! And he said, Here am I.

5 God said, Do not come near; put your shoes off your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground.

6 Also He said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look at God.

7 And the Lord said, I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters and oppressors; for I know their sorrows and sufferings and trials.

8 And I have come down to deliver them out of the hand and power of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land to a land good and large, a land flowing with milk and honey [a land of plenty] to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite. 14 God said, "My presence will go with you. I'll see the journey to the end."

15 Moses said, "If your presence doesn't take the lead here, call this trip off right now.

16 How else will it be known that you're with me in this, with me and your people? Are you traveling with us or not? How else will we know that we're special, I and your people, among all other people on this planet Earth?"

17 God said to Moses: "All right. Just as you say; this also I will do, for I know you well and you are special to me. I know you by name."

19 God said, "I will make my Goodness pass right in front of you; I'll call out the name, God, right before you. I'll treat well whomever I want to treat well and I'll be kind to whomever I want to be kind."

20 God continued, "But you may not see my face. No one can see me and live."

21 God said, "Look, here is a place right beside me. Put yourself on this rock.

22 When my Glory passes by, I'll put you in the cleft of the rock and cover you with my hand until I've passed by.

7He touched my lips with it and said, See? The burning coal from the altar has touched your lips. Your guilt is taken away; your sin is blotted out.

Phil 3:9 And that I may [actually] be found and known as in Him, not having any [self-achieved] righteousness that can be called my own, based on my obedience to the Law's demands (ritualistic uprightness and supposed right standing with God thus acquired), but possessing that [genuine righteousness] which comes through faith in Christ (the Anointed One), the [truly] right standing with God, which comes from God by [saving] faith.

10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].

12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward. AMP
