STAY CALM AND TRUST GOD 11-22-19 VIDEO DEEP THOUGHTS ON REST
Many T-shirts and bumper stickers say stay calm and Well tonight God is calling us to stay calm and trust Him. There is so much noise so much stress that we need to pull back trust God and rest. He sees everything and nothing surprises Him.
Trust means to rely on someone without doubt and allow this One to move in our lives without fear. Resting in the confidence of somebody else.
REST-perpetual sabbath "rest" to be enjoyed uninterruptedly by believers in their fellowship with the Father and the Son, in contrast to the weekly Sabbath under the Law. Because this sabbath "rest" is the "rest" of God Himself. Believers now enter into divine "rest,".
Ps 46:10 Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth! AMP
PS 46:10 Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth. TPT RELAX
Ex 14:14 The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest. AMP

Ps 37:7 Be still and rest in the Lord; wait for Him and patiently lean yourself upon Him; fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger and forsake wrath; fret not yourself it tends only to evildoing.
Ps 37:7 Quiet down before God, be prayerful before him. Don't bother with those who climb the ladder, who elbow their way to the top.

Ps 112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord.
8 His heart is established and steady, he will not be afraid while he waits to see his desire established upon his adversaries. AMP
PS 112:7 They will not live in fear or dread of what may come, for their hearts are firm, ever secure in their faith.
8Steady and strong, they will not be afraid, but will calmly face their every foe until they all go down in defeat. TPT

Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was put to the test [while the testing of his faith was still in progress], had already brought Isaac for an offering; he who had gladly received and welcomed [God's] promises was ready to sacrifice his only son,
18 Of whom it was said, Through Isaac shall your descendants be reckoned.
19 For he reasoned that God was able to raise [him] up even from among the dead. Indeed in the sense that Isaac was figuratively dead [potentially sacrificed], he did [actually] receive him back from the dead. AMP
HEB 11:17 Faith operated powerfully in Abraham for when he was put to the test he offered up Isaac. Even though he received Gods promises of descendants, he was willing to offer up his only son!
18For God had promised, Through your son Isaac your lineage will carry on your name.
19Abrahams faith made it logical to him that God could raise Isaac from the dead, and symbolically, thats exactly what happened. TPT
John 20:31 But these are written (recorded) in order that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ (the Anointed One), the Son of God, and that through believing and cleaving to and trusting and relying upon Him you may have life through (in) His name [through Who He is]. AMP
Ps 4:8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for You, Lord, alone make me dwell in safety and confident trust. AMP
PS 4:8 Now, because of you, Lord, I will lie down in peace and sleep comes at once, for no matter what happens, I will live unafraid! TPT
Prov 3:5 Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

Prov 3:5 Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don't try to figure out everything on your own.

PROV 3:5 Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions.
With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make.
6Become intimate with him in whatever you do, and he will lead you wherever you go.
7Dont think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything thats wrong.
8Then you will find the healing refreshment your body and spirit long for. TPT
Literally healing to your navel and moistening to your bones. The blood supply for a baby in the womb comes through the navel. New cells are made in the marrow of our bones. As the navel and bones picture the life flow of our bodies, so the navel and bones are a picture of our inner being.

ISA 30:15 Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, says:Come back to me! By returning and resting in me you will be saved.In quietness and trust you will be made strong. But you refused. TPT
1 John 3:3 And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless). AMP

Rest- In the word rest it doesnt just mean to relax or take your ease and confidence in the Lord. It also means something concerning the Holy Spirit. He shall rest upon us. Make his permanent dwelling place upon us. On the day of Pentecost the Holy Spirit came on them as well as in them so they could move in power. The spirit is the resting place Of glory. The full glory abides in Him. REST- dwell, stay, let fall, cease, lay, let down, (be) quiet, set down.
ISA 63:14 As a herder leads his cattle to find rest in a fertile valley, the Spirit of Yahweh led them into rest.In the same way, you led your peopleto win for yourself a glorious name! TPT
Isa 11:2 And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon Him the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit of knowledge and of the reverential and obedient fear of the Lord AMP

3 And there appeared to them tongues resembling fire, which were separated and distributed and which settled on each one of them.
4 And they were all filled (diffused throughout their souls) with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other (different, foreign) languages (tongues), as the Spirit kept giving them clear and loud expression [in each tongue in appropriate words].

Come to me and I will cheer [refresh] you. I am cheerful [refreshing] and humble in heart, and you will find cheer [refreshing] for your soul. REMAINS A REST-a type of heaven- open heaven relationship with God Not a rest from work but in work and rest from the burden put on you by the law.
