Gen 2:9 And out of the ground the Lord God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight or to be desired good (suitable, pleasant) for food; the tree of life also in the center of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of [the difference between] good and evil and blessing and calamity. Knowledge-Adam's knew Eve is direct contact with her- in a sexual relationship.
Rev 22:14 Blessed (happy and to be envied) are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the authority and right to [approach] the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city. AMP

Gen 2:16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;

Tree of life-only brings life only blessings
Gen 3:22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us [the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit], to know [how to distinguish between] good and evil and blessing and calamity; and now, lest he put forth his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever
23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. AMP
Man gained knowledge of good and evil it changed his nature. If he ate then of the tree of life-He would live forever (eternally as a sinner) Tree of life- What kind of life Eternal life- The life God has Abundant Life-Jesus life-He is the tree of Life.
Deut 30:19 I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you that I have set before you life and death, the blessings and the curses; therefore choose life, that you and your descendants may live
20 And may love the Lord your God, obey His voice, and cling to Him. For He is your life and the length of your days, that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. AMP

Choose life-Life intensive as God's life-forever-

LIFE Prov 12:28 Life is in the way of righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation), and in its pathway there is no death but immortality (perpetual, eternal life). AMP
Rom 5:21 So that, [just] as sin has reigned in death, [so] grace (His unearned and undeserved favor) might reign also through righteousness (right standing with God) which issues in eternal life through Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One) our Lord. AMP

Sin left man without hope. It makes you heartsick, pains the body- but "the desire"-Jesus desire of all nations completes -finishes the work-He is eternal life.

Rev 22:2 right down the middle of the street. The Tree of Life was planted on each side of the River, producing twelve kinds of fruit, a ripe fruit each month. The leaves of the Tree are for healing the nations.
3 Never again will anything be cursed. The Throne of God and of the Lamb is at the center. His servants will offer God service worshiping, MSG
Rev 2:7 He who is able to hear, let him listen to and give heed to what the Spirit says to the assemblies (churches). To him who overcomes (is victorious), I will grant to eat [of the fruit] of the tree of life, which is in the paradise of God. AMP

JESUS WAS THE TREE
Ex 15:23 When they came to Marah, they could not drink its waters for they were bitter; therefore it was named Marah [bitterness].
24 The people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
25 And he cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree which he cast into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There [the Lord] made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there He proved them,
26 Saying, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and will do what is right in His sight, and will listen to and obey His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you which I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord Who heals you.
Prov 3:15 Skillful and godly Wisdom is more precious than rubies; and nothing you can wish for is to be compared to her.
16 Length of days is in her right hand, and in her left hand are riches and honor.
17 Her ways are highways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.

Rom 11:24 For if you have been cut from what is by nature a wild olive tree, and against nature grafted into a cultivated olive tree, how much easier will it be to graft these natural [branches] back on [the original parent stock of] their own olive tree. AMP
