Prayer should be heartfelt. Prayer is talking the God like He is really there-not formulas-etc-Communication Speaking and listening for a voice speaking back. David- talked to God with his whole heart. God hears when we talk. Jesus-taught prayer-gave our Father (His Words were important but it was his heart-His relationship with the Father that made His conversations important. Prayer is keeping watch- a vigil at times it is standing with someone thru their toughest hour or standing in the gap for them.

Rom 12:11 Don't burn out; keep yourselves fueled and aflame. Be alert servants of the Master,

12 cheerfully expectant. Don't quit in hard times; pray all the harder. MSG

Ps 65:2 You hear the prayer in it all. We all arrive at your doorstep sooner

or later, loaded with guilt,  MSG
