AINT NO GRAVE by Mary Dorian 11-24-19

John 11:11 He said these things, and then added, Our friend Lazarus is at rest and sleeping; but I am going there that I may awaken him out of his sleep.

12 The disciples answered, Lord, if he is sleeping, he will recover.

13 However, Jesus had spoken of his death, but they thought that He referred to falling into a refreshing and natural sleep.

14 So then Jesus told them plainly, Lazarus is dead, AMP

John 11:33 When Jesus saw her sobbing, and the Jews who came with her [also] sobbing, He was deeply moved in spirit and troubled. [He chafed in spirit and sighed and was disturbed.]

34 And He said, Where have you laid him? They said to Him, Lord, come and see.

35 Jesus wept.

36 The Jews said, See how [tenderly] He loved him! AMP

John 11:39 Jesus said, Take away the stone. Martha, the sister of the dead man, exclaimed, But Lord, by this time he [is decaying and] throws off an offensive odor, for he has been dead four days!

40 Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God? AMP

John 11:42 Yes, I know You always hear and listen to Me, but I have said this on account of and for the benefit of the people standing around, so that they may believe that You did send Me [that You have made Me Your Messenger].

43 When He had said this, He shouted with a loud voice, Lazarus, come out!

44 And out walked the man who had been dead, his hands and feet wrapped in burial cloths (linen strips), and with a [burial] napkin bound around his face. Jesus said to them, Free him of the burial wrappings and let him go. AMP

PS 23:1 The Lord is my best friend and my shepherd. I always have more than enough.

2He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace, the quiet brook of bliss.

3Thats where he restores and revives my life. He opens before me pathways to Gods pleasure and leads me along in his footsteps of righteousness so that I can bring honor to his name.

4Lord, even when your path takes me through the valley of deepest darkness,

fear will never conquer me, for you already have! You remain close to me and lead me through it all the way. Your authority is my strength and my peace. The comfort of your love takes away my fear. Ill never be lonely, for you are near. TPT

John 12:1 SO SIX days before the Passover Feast, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, who had died and whom He had raised from the dead.

2 So they made Him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those at the table with Him. AMP

John 12:9 Now a great crowd of the Jews heard that He was at Bethany, and they came there, not only because of Jesus but that they also might see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.

10 So the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also,

11 Because on account of him many of the Jews were going away [were withdrawing from and leaving the Judeans] and believing in and adhering to Jesus. AMP

1 COR 12:1 My fellow believers, I dont want you to be confused about spiritual realities.

2For you know full well that when you were unbelievers you were often led astray in one way or another by your worship of idols, which are incapable of talking with you.

3Therefore, I want to impart to you an understanding of the following:

No one speaking by the Spirit of God would ever say, Jesus is the accursed one. No one can say, Jesus is the Lord Yahweh, unless the Holy Spirit is speaking through him.

4It is the same Holy Spirit who continues to distribute many different varieties of gifts.

5The Lord Yahweh is one, and he is the one who apportions to believers different varieties of ministries.

6The same God distributes different kinds of miracles[i] that accomplish different results through each believers gift and ministry as he energizes and activates them.

7Each believer is given continuous revelation by the Holy Spirit to benefit not just himself but all.

8For example: The Spirit gives to one the gift of the word of wisdom. To another, the same Spirit gives the gift of the word of revelation knowledge.

9And to another, the same Spirit gives the gift of faith. And to another, the same Spirit gives gifts of healing.

10And to another the power to work miracles. And to another the gift of prophecy. And to another the gift to discern what the Spirit is speaking.[And to another the gift of speaking different kinds of tongues.

And to another the gift of interpretation of tongues.

11Remember, it is the same Holy Spirit who distributes, activates, and operates these different gifts as he chooses for each believer.

One Body with Many Parts

12Just as the human body is one, though it has many parts that together form one body, so too is Christ.

13For by one Spirit we all were immersed and mingled into one single body. And no matter our statuswhether we are Jews or non-Jews, oppressed or freewe are all privileged to drink deeply of the same Holy Spirit.

14In fact, the human body is not one single part but rather many parts mingled into one. TPT

Heb 11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was put to the test [while the testing of his faith was still in progress], had already brought Isaac for an offering; he who had gladly received and welcomed [God's] promises was ready to sacrifice his only son,

18 Of whom it was said, Through Isaac shall your descendants be reckoned.

19 For he reasoned that God was able to raise [him] up even from among the dead. Indeed in the sense that Isaac was figuratively dead [potentially sacrificed], he did [actually] receive him back from the dead. AMP

Eph 1:17 [For I always pray to] the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that He may grant you a spirit of wisdom and revelation [of insight into mysteries and secrets] in the [deep and intimate] knowledge of Him,

18 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones),

19 And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength,

20 Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

21 Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

22 And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church],

23 Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself]. AMP

Rom 8:10 But if Christ lives in you, [then although] your [natural] body is dead by reason of sin and guilt, the spirit is alive because of [the] righteousness [that He imputes to you].

11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you. AMP

↕↕↕

RO 8:10 Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God.

11Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since Gods Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, he will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you! TPT

Eph 3:14 For this reason [seeing the greatness of this plan by which you are built together in Christ], I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

15 For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named [that Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name].

16 May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].

17 May Christ through your faith [actually] dwell (settle down, abide, make His permanent home) in your hearts! May you be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love,

18 That you may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all the saints [God's devoted people, the experience of that love] what is the breadth and length and height and depth [of it];

19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! AMP

↕↕↕

EPH 3:14 So I kneel humbly in awe before the Father of our Lord Jesus, the Messiah,

15the perfect Father of every father and child in heaven and on the earth.

16And I pray that he would unveil within you the unlimited riches of his glory and favor until supernatural strength floods your innermost being with his divine might and explosive power.

17Then, by constantly using your faith, the life of Christ will be released deep inside you, and the resting place of his love will become the very source and root of your life.

1819Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiencesthe great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Endless love beyond measurement that transcends our understandingthis extravagant love pours into you until you are filled to overflowing with the fullness of God! TPT

Col 3:1 IF THEN you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, thus sharing His resurrection from the dead], aim at and seek the [rich, eternal treasures] that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. [Ps 110:1.]

2 And set your minds and keep them set on what is above (the higher things), not on the things that are on the earth. AMP

↕↕↕

COL 3:1 Christs resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for thats where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority!

2Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. TPT

Eph 6:11 Put on God's whole armor [the armor of a heavy-armed soldier which God supplies], that you may be able successfully to stand up against [all] the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12 For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.

13 Therefore put on God's complete armor, that you may be able to resist and stand your ground on the evil day [of danger], and, having done all [the crisis demands], to stand [firmly in your place].

14 Stand therefore [hold your ground], having tightened the belt of truth around your loins and having put on the breastplate of integrity and of moral rectitude and right standing with God,

15 And having shod your feet in preparation [to face the enemy with the firm-footed stability, the promptness, and the readiness produced by the good news] of the Gospel of peace.

16 Lift up over all the [covering] shield of saving faith, upon which you can quench all the flaming missiles of the wicked [one].

17 And take the helmet of salvation and the sword that the Spirit wields, which is the Word of God.

18 Pray at all times (on every occasion, in every season) in the Spirit, with all [manner of] prayer and entreaty. To that end keep alert and watch with strong purpose and perseverance, interceding in behalf of all the saints (God's consecrated people). AMP

↕↕↕

EPH 6:11 Put on Gods complete set of armor provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser!

12Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms. For they are a powerful class of demon-gods and evil spirits that hold this dark world in bondage.

13Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so youre protected as you confront the slanderer, for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

14Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.

15Stand on your feet alert, then youll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

16In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One!

1718Embrace the power of salvations full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God. Pray passionately in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all his believers. TPT

EPH 1:3 Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesusall because he sees us wrapped into Christ. This is why we celebrate him with all our hearts!

4And he chose us to be his very own, joining us to himself even before he laid the foundation of the universe! Because of his great love, he ordained us, so that we would be seen as holy in his eyes with an unstained innocence.

56For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace for the same love he has for his Beloved One, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure!

7Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his bloodthe total cancellation of our sinsall because of the cascading riches of his grace.

8This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing within us all forms of wisdom and practical understanding.

9And through the revelation of the Anointed One, he unveiled his secret desires to usthe hidden mystery of his long-range plan, which he was delighted to implement from the very beginning of time.

10And because of Gods unfailing purpose, this detailed plan will reign supreme through every period of time until the fulfillment of all the ages finally reaches its climaxwhen God makes all things new in all of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ. TPT

1 John 3:2 Beloved, we are [even here and] now God's children; it is not yet disclosed (made clear) what we shall be [hereafter], but we know that when He comes and is manifested, we shall [as God's children] resemble and be like Him, for we shall see Him just as He [really] is.

3 And everyone who has this hope [resting] on Him cleanses (purifies) himself just as He is pure (chaste, undefiled, guiltless). AMP

↕↕↕

1 JN 3:2 Beloved, we are Gods children right now; however, it is not yet apparent what we will become. But we do know that when it is finally made visible, we will be just like him, for we will see him as he truly is.

3And all who focus their hope on him will always be purifying themselves, just as Jesus is pure TPT
