Our hearts are amazing. They have the capability to be soft or to be hard. They can lead us in the way we should go. People live out of their hearts more than their brains or any logic. The heart is more than a muscle that pumps blood. It is the central and innermost part of who we are. The essence of a mans life from Gods perspective begins with the condition of a mans heart. Jesus knew all men by their hearts.
PS 51:10 Create a new, clean heart within me. Fill me with pure thoughts and holy desires, ready to please you TPT
Deut 4:29 But if from there you will seek (inquire for and require as necessity) the Lord your God, you will find Him if you [truly] seek Him with all your heart [and mind] and soul and life. AMP
2 Chron 11:16 And after them out of all the tribes of Israel there came to Jerusalem those who set their hearts to seek and inquire of the Lord, the God of Israel, to sacrifice to the Lord, the God of their fathers. AMP

1 Cor 2:16 For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart. AMP

MT 15:17 Is it hard to understand that whatever you eat enters the stomach only to pass out into the sewer?
18But what comes out of your mouth reveals the core of your heart. Words can pollute, not food.
19You will find living within an impure heart evil ideas, murderous thoughts, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, lies, and slander.
20Thats what pollutes a person. Eating with un-washed hands doesnt defile anyone. TPT
BELIEVE Mark 11:23 Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. AMP
Acts 8:37 And Philip said, If you believe with all your heart [if you have a conviction, full of joyful trust, that Jesus is the Messiah and accept Him as the Author of your salvation in the kingdom of God, giving Him your obedience, then] you may.
