TIME TO ADVANCE 5-17-2020
The question. What do we do next? What do we do now? What time is it? The answer: Its time to advance. Get up out of the ball field or the battle has been raging, out of the valley of dry bones. Move forward. Leaving the dead to bury the dead. Advance forward. Make progress with purpose.
Advance, make progress. This pandemic has tried to slow down the progress of my people.
Hab 3:19 The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds' feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! AMP
Ezek 37:4 He said to me, "Prophesy over these bones: 'Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!'"
5 God, the Master, told the dry bones, "Watch this: I'm bringing the breath of life to you and you'll come to life.
6 I'll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You'll come alive and you'll realize that I am God!"
7 I prophesied just as I'd been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone.
8 I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.
9 He said to me, "Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, 'God, the Master, says, Come from the four winds. Come, breath. Breathe on these slain bodies. Breathe life!'"
10 So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army. MSG
Deut 2:3 You have roamed around this mountain country long enough; turn northward. AMP
Josh 3:5 And Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves [that is, separate yourselves for a special holy purpose], for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you. AMP
Gal 5:25 If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.] AMP
PHIL 3:12 I admit that I havent yet acquired the absolute fullness that Im pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose that Jesus Christ has called me to fulfill and wants me to discover. TPT
Phil 3:13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.
15 So let those [of us] who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions; and if in any respect you have a different attitude of mind, God will make that clear to you also. AMP
Phil 3:13 Friends, don't get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I've got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward to Jesus.
14 I'm off and running, and I'm not turning back.
15 So let's keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision you'll see it yet! MSG
PHIL 3:13 I dont depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.
14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.
15 So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them. TPT
Heb 10:22 Let us all come forward and draw near with true (honest and sincere) hearts in unqualified assurance and absolute conviction engendered by faith (by that leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness), having our hearts sprinkled and purified from a guilty (evil) conscience and our bodies cleansed with pure water.
23 So let us seize and hold fast and retain without wavering the hope we cherish and confess and our acknowledgement of it, for He Who promised is reliable (sure) and faithful to His word.
24 And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities,
25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. AMP
Heb 10:22 So let's do it full of belief, confident that we're presentable inside and out.
23 Let's keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word.
24 Let's see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out,
25 not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on, especially as we see the big Day approaching. MSG
HEB 10:22 we come closer to God and approach himwith an open heart, fully convinced by faith that nothing will keep us at a distance from him. For our hearts have been sprinkled with blood to remove impurity and we have been freed from an accusing conscience and now we are clean, unstained, and presentable to God inside and out!
23 So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises!
24 Discover creative ways to encourage othersand to motivate them toward acts of compassion, doing beautiful works as expressions of love.
25 This is not the time to pull away and neglectmeeting together, as some have formed the habit of doing, because we need each other! In fact, we should come together even more frequently, eager to encourage and urge each other onward as we anticipate that day dawning. TPT
Heb 6:1 THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God,
2 With teachings about purifying, the laying on of hands, the resurrection from the dead, and eternal judgment and punishment. [These are all matters of which you should have been fully aware long, long ago.]
3 If indeed God permits, we will [now] proceed [to advanced teaching]. AMP
Heb 6:1 So come on, let's leave the preschool fingerpainting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on "salvation by self-help" and turning in trust toward God;
2 baptismal instructions; laying on of hands; resurrection of the dead; eternal judgment.
3 God helping us, we'll stay true to all that. But there's so much more. Let's get on with it! MSG
HEB 6:1 Now is the time for us to progress beyond the basic message of Christand advance into perfection. The foundation has already been laid for us to build upon: turning away from our dead worksto embrace faith in God,
2 teaching about different baptisms, impartation by the laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.
3 So with Gods enablementwe will move on to deeper truths. TPT
Ps 24:3 Who shall go up into the mountain of the Lord? Or who shall stand in His Holy Place?
4 He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted himself up to falsehood or to what is false, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation [description] of those who seek Him [who inquire of and for Him and of necessity require Him], who seek Your face, [O God of] Jacob. Selah [pause, and think of that]! AMP
PS 24:3 Who, then, ascends into the presence of the Lord? And who has the privilege of entering into Gods Holy Place?
4 Those who are cleanwhose works and ways are pure, whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth, those who never deceive, whose words are sure.
5 They will receive the Lords blessing and righteousness given by the Savior God.
6 They will stand before God, for they seek the pleasure of Gods face, the God of Jacob. Pause in his presence TPT
Mark 16:15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].
16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.
17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;
18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well. AMP
Mark 16:15 Then he said, "Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God's good news to one and all.
16 Whoever believes and is baptized is saved; whoever refuses to believe is damned.
17 "These are some of the signs that will accompany believers: They will throw out demons in my name, they will speak in new tongues,
18 they will take snakes in their hands, they will drink poison and not be hurt, they will lay hands on the sick and make them well." MSG
MK 16:15 And he said to them, As you go into all the world, preach openly the wonderful news of the gospel to the entire human race!
16 Whoever believes the good news and is baptized will be saved, and whoever does not believe the good news will be condemned.
17 And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues.
18 They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them. TPT
PS 18:33 Through you I ascend to the highest peaks of your glory to stand in the heavenly places, strong and secure in you.
34 Youve trained me with the weapons of warfare-worship; now Ill descend into battle with power to chase and conquer my foes.
35 You empower me for victory with your wrap-around presence. Your power within makes me strong to subdue, and by stooping down in gentleness you strengthened me and made me great!
36 Youve set me free from captivityand now Im standing complete, ready to fight some more!
37 I caught up with my enemies and conquered them, and didnt turn back until the war was won! TPT
JUDE 1:20 But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faithby praying every moment in the Spirit.
21 Fasten your hearts to the love of God and receive the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gives us eternal life.
22 Keep being compassionate to those who still have doubts,
23 and snatch others out of the fire to save them. Be merciful over and over to them, but always couple your mercy with the fear of God. Be extremely careful to keep yourselves free from the pollutions of the flesh.
24 Now, to the one with enough power to prevent you from stumbling into sinand bring you faultless before his glorious presence to stand before him with ecstatic delight,
25 to the only God our Savior, through our Lord Jesus Christ, be endless glory and majesty, great power and authorityfrom before he created time, now, and throughout all the ages of eternity. Amen TPT
Eph 4:1 In light of all this, here's what I want you to do. While I'm locked up here, a prisoner for the Master, I want you to get out there and walk better yet, run! on the road God called you to travel. I don't want any of you sitting around on your hands. I don't want anyone strolling off, down some path that goes nowhere. MSG
