We are called to bear his image. Chosen from the foundation of the world to show forth his praise and his glory. Weve been given dominion over the earth.
Gen 1:26 God spoke: "Let us make human beings in our image, make them
reflecting our nature So they can be responsible for the fish in the sea, the birds in the air, the cattle, And, yes, Earth itself, and every animal that moves on the face of Earth."
27 God created human beings; he created them godlike, Reflecting God's nature. He created them male and female.
28 God blessed them: "Prosper! Reproduce! Fill Earth! Take charge! Be responsible for fish in the sea and birds in the air, for every living thing that moves on the face of Earth." MSG
Isa 54:17 But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord. Eph 2:10 For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. JN 14:9-13 Jesus replied, Philip, Ive been with you all this time and you still dont know who I am? How could you ask me to show you the Father, for anyone who has looked at me has seen the Father.
10 Dont you believe that the Father is living in me and that I am living in the Father? Even my words are not my own but come from my Father, for he lives in me and performs his miracles of power through me.
11 Believe that I live as one with my Father and that my Father lives as one with meor at least, believe because of the mighty miracles I have done.
12 I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I doeven greater miracles than these because I go to be with my Father!
13 For I will do whatever you ask me to do when you ask me in my name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to him. TPT
Rom 8:29 For those whom He foreknew [of whom He was aware and loved beforehand], He also destined from the beginning [foreordaining them] to be molded into the image of His Son [and share inwardly His likeness], that He might become the firstborn among many brethren.
30 And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].
31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?] AMP

RO 8:29-31 For he knew all about us before we were born and he destined usfrom the beginning to share the likeness of his Son. This means the Son is the oldest among a vast family of brothers and sisters who will become just like him.
30 Having determined our destiny ahead of time, he called us to himself and transferred his perfect righteousness to everyone he called. And those who possess his perfect righteousness he co-glorified with his Son!
31 So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us? TPT
1 Cor 15:49 And just as we have borne the image [of the man] of dust, so shall we and so let us also bear the image [of the Man] of heaven. AMP

1 JN 4:17 By living in God, love has been brought to its full expression in usso that we may fearlessly face the day of judgment, because all that Jesus now is, so are we in this world. TPT
"because we are what he is in this world. The verb tense is important. We are not like Jesus was, but because of grace, we are like he is now: pure and holy, seated in heaven, and glorified. Faith has transferred his righteousness to us.
1 PET 2:9 But you are Gods chosen treasurepriests who are kings, a spiritual nation set apart as Gods devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. TPT
Col 1:13 [The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,

15 [Now] He is the exact likeness of the unseen God [the visible representation of the invisible]; He is the Firstborn of all creation.

COL 3:21 And although you at one time were estranged and alienated from Him and were of hostile attitude of mind in your wicked activities,
22 Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father's] presence. AMP

COL 3:21Even though you were once distant from him, living in the shadows of your evil thoughts and actions, he reconnected you back to himself. He released his supernatural peace to you through the sacrifice of his own body as the sin-payment on your behalf so that you would dwell in his presence. And now there is nothing between you and Father God, for he sees you as holy, flawless, and restored. TPT
2 Peter 1:3 For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).
4 By means of these He has bestowed on us His precious and exceedingly great promises, so that through them you may escape [by flight] from the moral decay (rottenness and corruption) that is in the world because of covetousness (lust and greed), and become sharers (partakers) of the divine nature. Col 3:10 And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it. AMP

11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body]. AMP
2 COR 3:18 We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfiguredinto his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.[ TPT
EPH 4:24 And to be transformed as you embrace the glorious Christ-within as your new life and live in union with him! For God has re-created you all over again in his perfect righteousness, and you now belong to him in the realm of true holiness. TPT
GAL 3:26-27 You have all become true children of God by the faith of Jesus the Anointed One!
27 It was faith that immersed you into Jesus, the Anointed One, and now you are covered and clothed with his anointing. TPT
RO 8:19-21 The entire universe is standing on tiptoe, yearning to see the unveiling of Gods glorioussons and daughters!
20 For against its will the universe itself has had to endure the empty futilityresulting from the consequences of human sin. But now, with eager expectation, 21 all creation longs for freedom from its slavery to decay and to experience with us the wonderful freedom coming to Gods children. TPT
GAL 4:5-7 Yet all of this was so that he would redeem and set free all those held hostage to the written law so that we would receive our freedom and a full legal adoption as his children.
6 And so that we would know for sure that we are his true children, God released the Spirit of Sonship into our heartsmoving us to cry out intimately, My Father! Youre our true Father!
7 Now were no longer living like slaves under the law, but we enjoy being Gods very own sons and daughters! And because were his, we can access everything our Father hasfor we are heirs of God through Jesus, the Messiah! TPT
JN 12:36 So believe and cling to the light while I am with you, so that you will become children of light. After saying this, Jesus then entered into the crowd and hid himself from them. TPT
Rom 9:25-26 Hosea put it well: I'll call nobodies and make them somebodies;
I'll call the unloved and make them beloved.
26 In the place where they yelled out, "You're nobody!" they're calling you "God's living children." MSG
