NO MORE EXCUSES 10-9-2020  VIDEO NO MORE EXCUSES

Be brave, bold, courageous and step forward. Excuses-a reason that is given for why you didnt do what you were supposed to do. An attempt to lessen the blame for a fault or offense-to justify a mistake made-or the way something just did not work out. It just must not have been Gods will. Putting off till tomorrow what was needed to be done today. Blaming something or someone else. in the Bible nobody was impressed with how good the excuses are.

Gen 3:11-12 God said, "Who told you you were naked? Did you eat from that tree I told you not to eat from?"

12 The Man said, "The Woman you gave me as a companion, she gave me fruit from the tree, and, yes, I ate it."  MSG

Job 36:17 And here you are laden with the guilt of the wicked, obsessed with putting the blame on God! MSG

John 9:3  Jesus said, "You're asking the wrong question. You're looking for someone to blame. There is no such cause-effect here. Look instead for what God can do.  MSG

Ex 32:21-24 And Moses said to Aaron, What did this people do to you, that you have brought so great a sin upon them?

22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord blaze hot; you know the people, that they are set on evil.

23 For they said to me, Make us gods which shall go before us; as for this Moses, the man who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we do not know what has become of him.

24 I said to them, Those who have any gold, let them take it off. So they gave it to me; then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.   AMP

Ex 4:10  Moses raised another objection to God: "Master, please, I don't talk well. I've never been good with words, neither before nor after you spoke to me. I stutter and stammer."

11 God said, "And who do you think made the human mouth? And who makes some mute, some deaf, some sighted, some blind? Isn't it I, God?

12 So, get going. I'll be right there with you with your mouth! I'll be right there to teach you what to say."

13 He said, "Oh, Master, please! Send somebody else!"   MSG

LU 9:59 Jesus then turned to another and said, Come be my disciple.

He replied, Someday I will, Lord, but allow me first to fulfill my duty as a good sonand wait until my father passes away.

60 Jesus told him, Dont wait for your fathers burial. Let those who are already dead wait for death. But as for you, go and proclaim everywhere that Gods kingdom has arrived.

61 Still another said to him, Lord, I want to follow you too. But first let me go home and say good-bye to my entire family.

62 Jesus responded, Why do you keep looking backward to your past and have second thoughts about following me? When you turn back you are useless to Gods kingdom realm. TPT

LU 14:16 Jesus replied with this parable: There was a man who invited many to join him in a great feast.

17 When the day for the feast arrived, the host instructed his servant to notify all the invited guests and tell them, Come, for everything is now ready for you!

18 But one by one they all made excuses. One said, I cant come. I just bought some property and Im obligated to go and look it over.

19 Another said, Please accept my regrets, for I just purchased five teams of oxenand I need to make sure they can pull the plow.

20 Another one said, I cant come because I just got married.

21 The servant reported back to the host and told him of all their excuses. So the master became angry and said to his servant, Go at once throughout the city and invite anyone you findthe poor, the blind, the disabled, the hurting, and the lonelyand invite them to my banquet.  TPT

Judg 6:15-18 Gideon said to him, "Me, my master? How and with what could I ever save Israel? Look at me. My clan's the weakest in Manasseh and I'm the runt of the litter."

16 God said to him, "I'll be with you. Believe me, you'll defeat Midian as one man."

17 Gideon said, "If you're serious about this, do me a favor: Give me a sign to back up what you're telling me.

18 Don't leave until I come back and bring you my gift." He said, "I'll wait till you get back."  MSG

Judg 6:37-40  Behold, I will put a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew on the fleece only and it is dry on all the ground, then I shall know that You will deliver Israel by my hand, as You have said.

38 And it was so. When he rose early next morning and squeezed the dew out of the fleece, he wrung from it a bowlful of water.

39 And Gideon said to God, Let not your anger be kindled against me, and I will speak but this once. Let me make trial only this once with the fleece, I pray you; let it now be dry only upon the fleece and upon all the ground let there be dew.

40 And God did so that night, for it was dry on the fleece only, and there was dew on all the ground.  AMP

Prov 24:12  And why would you say, But its none of my business? The one who knows you completely and judges your every motive is also the keeper of soulsand not just yours! He sees through your excuses and holds you responsible for failing to help those whose lives are threatened.  TPT

JOHN 9:4 While I am with you, it is daytime and we must do the works of God who sent me while the light shines. For there is coming a dark night when no one will be able to work TPT

Heb 3:6-11 Now, if we can only keep a firm grip on this bold confidence, we're the house!

7 That's why the Holy Spirit says, Today, please listen;

8 don't turn a deaf ear as in "the bitter uprising," that time of wilderness testing!

9 Even though they watched me at work for forty years, your ancestors refused to let me do it my way; over and over they tried my patience.

10 And I was provoked, oh, so provoked! I said, "They'll never keep their minds on God; they refuse to walk down my road."

11 Exasperated, I vowed, "They'll never get where they're going, never be able to sit down and rest."   MSG

Heb 4:7 God keeps renewing the promise and setting the date as today, just as he did in David's psalm, centuries later than the original invitation: Today, please listen,

don't turn a deaf ear . . .  MSG

Matt 12:38 Later a few religion scholars and Pharisees got on him. "Teacher, we want to see your credentials. Give us some hard evidence that God is in this. How about a miracle?"

39 Jesus said, "You're looking for proof, but you're looking for the wrong kind. All you want is something to titillate your curiosity, satisfy your lust for miracles. The only proof you're going to get is what looks like the absence of proof: Jonah-evidence.

40 Like Jonah, three days and nights in the fish's belly, the Son of Man will be gone three days and nights in a deep grave.

41 "On Judgment Day, the Ninevites will stand up and give evidence that will condemn this generation, because when Jonah preached to them they changed their lives. A far greater preacher than Jonah is here, and you squabble about 'proofs.'

42 On Judgment Day, the Queen of Sheba will come forward and bring evidence that will condemn this generation, because she traveled from a far corner of the earth to listen to wise Solomon. Wisdom far greater than Solomon's is right in front of you, and you quibble over 'evidence.'   MSG

1 John 2:28-29  And now, children, stay with Christ. Live deeply in Christ. Then we'll be ready for him when he appears, ready to receive him with open arms, with no cause for red-faced guilt or lame excuses when he arrives.

29 Once you're convinced that he is right and righteous, you'll recognize that all who practice righteousness are God's true children.  MSG

1 JN 2:28-29 And now, dear children, remain in him, so that when he is revealed we may have joyful confidence and not be ashamed when we stand before him at his appearing.

29 If you know that he is righteous, you may be sure that everyone who lives in righteousness has been divinely fathered by him.  TPT

Num 13:27-33 Then they told the story of their trip: "We went to the land to which you sent us and, oh! It does flow with milk and honey! Just look at this fruit!

28 The only thing is that the people who live there are fierce, their cities are huge and well fortified. Worse yet, we saw descendants of the giant Anak.

29 Amalekites are spread out in the Negev; Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites hold the hill country; and the Canaanites are established on the Mediterranean Sea and along the Jordan."

30 Caleb interrupted, called for silence before Moses and said, "Let's go up and take the land now. We can do it."

31 But the others said, "We can't attack those people; they're way stronger than we are."

32 They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, "We scouted out the land from one end to the other it's a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge.

33 Why, we even saw the Nephilim giants (the Anak giants come from the Nephilim). Alongside them we felt like grasshoppers. And they looked down on us as if we were grasshoppers."  MSG

Num 14:6-9 Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, members of the scouting party, ripped their clothes

7 and addressed the assembled People of Israel: "The land we walked through and scouted out is a very good land very good indeed.

8 If God is pleased with us, he will lead us into that land, a land that flows, as they say, with milk and honey. And he'll give it to us.

9 Just don't rebel against God! And don't be afraid of those people. Why, we'll have them for lunch! They have no protection and God is on our side. Don't be afraid of them!"   MSG

Josh 1:2 "Moses my servant is dead. Get going. Cross this Jordan River, you and all the people. Cross to the country I'm giving to the People of Israel.

3 I'm giving you every square inch of the land you set your foot on just as I promised Moses.

4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon east to the Great River, the Euphrates River all the Hittite country and then west to the Great Sea. It's all yours.

5 All your life, no one will be able to hold out against you. In the same way I was with Moses, I'll be with you. I won't give up on you; I won't leave you.

6 Strength! Courage! You are going to lead this people to inherit the land that I promised to give their ancestors.

7 Give it everything you have, heart and soul. Make sure you carry out The Revelation that Moses commanded you, every bit of it. Don't get off track, either left or right, so as to make sure you get to where you're going.

8 And don't for a minute let this Book of The Revelation be out of mind. Ponder and meditate on it day and night, making sure you practice everything written in it. Then you'll get where you're going; then you'll succeed.

9 Haven't I commanded you? Strength! Courage! Don't be timid; don't get discouraged. God, your God, is with you every step you take."   MSG

Ps 27:14  Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord. AMP

PS 27:14 Heres what Ive learned through it all: Dont give up; dont be impatient;
be entwined as one with the Lord. Be brave and courageous

1 Chron 28:20 David continued to address Solomon: "Take charge! Take heart! Don't be anxious or get discouraged. God, my God, is with you in this; he won't walk off and leave you in the lurch. He's at your side until every last detail is completed for conducting the worship of God.  MSG

Hag 2:4-9  "'So get to work, Zerubbabel!' God is speaking. "'Get to work, Joshua son of Jehozadak high priest!' "'Get to work, all you people!' God is speaking. "'Yes, get to work! For I am with you.' The God-of-the-Angel-Armies is speaking!

5 'Put into action the word I covenanted with you when you left Egypt. I'm living and breathing among you right now. Don't be timid. Don't hold back.'

6 "This is what God-of-the-Angel-Armies said: 'Before you know it, I will shake up sky and earth, ocean and fields.

7 And I'll shake down all the godless nations. They'll bring bushels of wealth and I will fill this Temple with splendor.' God-of-the-Angel-Armies says so.

8 'I own the silver, I own the gold.' Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.

9 "'This Temple is going to end up far better than it started out, a glorious beginning but an even more glorious finish: a place in which I will hand out wholeness and holiness.' Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies."   MSG

Rom 8:7 Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing.

8 And God isn't pleased at being ignored.

9 But if God himself has taken up residence in your life, you can hardly be thinking more of yourself than of him. Anyone, of course, who has not welcomed this invisible but clearly present God, the Spirit of Christ, won't know what we're talking about. MSG

1 Cor 16:13 Keep your eyes open, hold tight to your convictions, give it all you've got, be resolute,
