GOING FROM TIMIDITY TO BOLDNESS  11-13-2020 video faith vs fear

Timidity is fear unknown, or unfamiliar, being hesitant, lacking in self assurance. Boldness is the opposite it means willingness to take risks, to act an innovatively,  confidence opposite of fear.

Prov 28:1 THE WICKED flee when no man pursues them, but the [uncompromisingly] righteous are bold as a lion. 

2 When a land transgresses, it has many rulers, but when the ruler is a man of discernment, understanding, and knowledge, its stability will long continue.  AMP

Prov 28:1-2 The wicked are edgy with guilt, ready to run off even when no one's after them; Honest people are relaxed and confident, bold as lions.

2 When the country is in chaos, everybody has a plan to fix it   But it takes a leader of real understanding to straighten things out.  MSG

Acts 4:13-14 Now when they saw the boldness and unfettered eloquence of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and untrained in the schools [common men with no educational advantages], they marveled; and they recognized that they had been with Jesus.

14 And since they saw the man who had been cured standing there beside them, they could not contradict the fact or say anything in opposition.  AMP

Acts 4:13 They couldn't take their eyes off them Peter and John standing there so confident, so sure of themselves! Their fascination deepened when they realized these two were laymen with no training in Scripture or formal education. They recognized them as companions of Jesus,

14 but with the man right before them, seeing him standing there so upright so healed! what could they say against that?   MSG

ACTS 4:13-14 The council members were astonished as they witnessed the bold courageof Peter and John, especially when they discovered that they were just ordinary men who had never had religious training. Then they began to understand the effect Jesus had on them simply by spending time with him.

14 Standing there with them was the healed man, and there was nothing further they could say. TPT

2 Tim 1:7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.  AMP

2 Tim 1:7 God doesn't want us to be shy with his gifts, but bold and loving and sensible.  MSG

2 Tim 1:7 for God did not give to us a spirit of fearfulness but of power and of a divine and self-sacrificial love and of a sound mind. WUEST

Acts 4:29 And now, Lord, observe their threats and grant to Your bond servants [full freedom] to declare Your message fearlessly,

30 While You stretch out Your hand to cure and to perform signs and wonders through the authority and by the power of the name of Your holy Child and Servant Jesus.

31 And when they had prayed, the place in which they were assembled was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they continued to speak the Word of God with freedom and boldness and courage.  AMP

ACTS 4:29-31 So now, Lord, listen to their threats to harm us. Empower us, as your servants, to speak the word of God freely and courageously.

30 Stretch out your hand of power through us to heal, and to move in signs and wonders by the name of your holy Son, Jesus!

31 At that moment the earth shook beneath them, causing the building they were in to tremble. Each one of them was filled with the Holy Spirit, and they proclaimed the word of God with unrestrained boldness.  TPT

Acts 28:31 Preaching to them the kingdom of God and teaching them about the Lord Jesus Christ with boldness and quite openly, and without being molested or hindered.  AMP

Eph 3:12 In Whom, because of our faith in Him, we dare to have the boldness (courage and confidence) of free access (an unreserved approach to God with freedom and without fear).  AMP

Eph 3:12 When we trust in him, we're free to say whatever needs to be said, bold to go wherever we need to go.  MSG

EPH 3:12 we have boldness through him, and free access as kingsbefore the Father because of our complete confidence in Christs faithfulness. TPT

1 John 2:28  And now, little children, abide (live, remain permanently) in Him, so that when He is made visible, we may have and enjoy perfect confidence (boldness, assurance) and not be ashamed and shrink from Him at His coming.  AMP

1 John 3:21 And, beloved, if our consciences (our hearts) do not accuse us [if they do not make us feel guilty and condemn us], we have confidence (complete assurance and boldness) before God,

22 And we receive from Him whatever we ask, because we [watchfully] obey His orders [observe His suggestions and injunctions, follow His plan for us] and [habitually] practice what is pleasing to Him.  AMP

1 John 3:21 And friends, once that's taken care of and we're no longer accusing or condemning ourselves, we're bold and free before God!

22 We're able to stretch our hands out and receive what we asked for because we're doing what he said, doing what pleases him.   MSG  ↕↕↕

1 JOHN 3:21-22 My delightfully loved friends, when our hearts dont condemn us, we have a bold freedom to speak face-to-face with God.

22 And whatever we ask of him we receive, because we keep his commands. And by our beautiful intentionswe continue to do what brings pleasure to him. TPT

1 John 4:17 In this [union and communion with Him] love is brought to completion and attains perfection with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment [with assurance and boldness to face Him], because as He is, so are we in this world. AMP

Heb 4:16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].  AMP

HEB 4:16 So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercys kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthenus in our time of weakness. TPT

1 John 5:14  And how bold and free we then become in his presence, freely asking according to his will, sure that he's listening.  MSG

1 JN 5:14 Since we have this confidence, we can also have great boldness before him, for if we present any request agreeable to his will, he will hear us.  TPT

John 19:10  So Pilate said to Him, Will You not speak [even] to me? Do You not know that I have power (authority) to release You and I have power to crucify You?

11 Jesus answered, You would not have any power or authority whatsoever against (over) Me if it were not given you from above. For this reason the sin and guilt of the one who delivered Me over to you is greater. AMP

Heb 3:6 Christ as Son is in charge of the house. Now, if we can only keep a firm grip on this bold confidence, we're the house!  MSG

Heb 10:35 Do not, therefore, fling away your fearless confidence, for it carries a great and glorious compensation of reward.  AMP

Acts 14:3 So [Paul and Barnabas] stayed on there for a long time, speaking freely and fearlessly and boldly in the Lord, Who continued to bear testimony to the Word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be performed by their hands. AMP

ACT 14:3 Yet Paul and Barnabas stayed there for a long time, preaching boldly and fearlessly about the Lord. Many trusted in the Lord, for he backed up his messageof gracewith miracles, signs, and wonders performed by the apostles. TPT

Acts 28:30After this Paul lived there for two entire years [at his own expense] in his own rented lodging, and he welcomed all who came to him,

31 Preaching to them the kingdom of God and teaching them about the Lord Jesus Christ with boldness and quite openly, and without being molested or hindered.  AMP

Phil 1:14And [also] most of the brethren have derived fresh confidence in the Lord because of my chains and are much more bold to speak and publish fearlessly the Word of God [acting with more freedom and indifference to the consequences]. AMP

Col 4:4 That I may proclaim it fully and make it clear [speak boldly and unfold that mystery], as is my duty.  AMP

Eph 6:9 You masters, act on the same [principle] toward them and give up threatening and using violent and abusive words, knowing that He Who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and that there is no respect of persons (no partiality) with Him.

10 In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [be empowered through your union with Him]; draw your strength from Him [that strength which His boundless might provides].

EPH 6:19 And [pray] also for me, that [freedom of] utterance may be given me, that I may open my mouth to proclaim boldly the mystery of the good news (the Gospel),

20 For which I am an ambassador in a coupling chain [in prison. Pray] that I may declare it boldly and courageously, as I ought to do.  AMP

EPH 6:9 And to the caretakers of the flock I say, do what is right with your people by forgiving them when they offend you, for you know there is a Master in heaven that shows no favoritism.

10 Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last: Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.  TPT

EPH 6:19 And pray also that Gods revelation would be released through me every time I preach the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled gospel.

20 Yes, pray that I may preach the wonderful news of Gods kingdom with bold freedom at every opportunity. Even though I am chained as a prisoner, I am his ambassador. TPT

Phil 1:20 This is in keeping with my own eager desire and persistent expectation and hope, that I shall not disgrace myself nor be put to shame in anything; but that with the utmost freedom of speech and unfailing courage, now as always heretofore, Christ (the Messiah) will be magnified and get glory and praise in this body of mine and be boldly exalted in my person, whether through (by) life or through (by) death.  AMP

PS 27:1 The Lord is my revelation-light to guide me along the way; hes the source of my salvation to defend me every day. I fear no one! Ill never turn back and run from you, Lord; surround and protect me.
When evil ones come to destroy me, they will be the ones who turn back.My heart will not be afraid even if an army rises to attack. I know that you are there for me, so I will not be shaken. TPT

COURAGE

Deut 31:6 Be strong, courageous, and firm; fear not nor be in terror before them, for it is the Lord your God Who goes with you; He will not fail you or forsake you.

Josh 1:9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Matt 14:27 But instantly He spoke to them, saying, Take courage! I AM! Stop being afraid!   

Heb 13:6  we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I'm fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me?  MSG

HEB 13:6 So we can say with great confidence: I know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me! TPT
