SIGNS AND WONDERS (THE NORMAL CHRISTIAN LIFE) 2-28-21  VIDEO AA 2

The normal Christian life. Lets put our attention and what it means to be Christian. Its a follower of Christ. Healing the sick, raising the dead, speaking in tongues, casting out demons, controlling the atmosphere. All these things are possible because of Jesus and all He did for mankind. Signs and wonders and miracles by which God authenticates the man or woman that he sends to show they are from Him. They are the miraculous power on display. Gods signs and wonders are to show just who He is! You cannot separate the Lord from His displays of power. His displays of power reveal who He is. Signs point people to God. Wonders describe Gods supernatural power. Both of these are happening today.

Jesus did say that there would be false prophets and apostles in the last days as well as false Messiahs.  But we do not disregard the supernatural powers of the Holy Spirit rather we acquaint ourselves with the real. Signs and wonders did not pass away with the last apostles. They continue to go forth into every generation.

Matt 12:38 Then some of the scribes and Pharisees said to Him, Teacher, we desire to see a sign or miracle from You [proving that You are what You claim to be].

39 But He replied to them, An evil and adulterous generation (a generation morally unfaithful to God) seeks and demands a sign; but no sign shall be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah. AMP

JOHN 10:37 If Im not doing the beautiful works that my Father sent me to do, then dont believe me.

38 But if you see me doing the beautiful works of God upon the earth, then you should at least believe the evidence of the miracles, even if you dont believe my words! Then you would come to experience me and be convinced that I am in the Father and the Father is in me.  TPT

Jer 32:20-21 "'You performed signs and wonders in the country of Egypt and continue to do so right into the present, right here in Israel and everywhere else, too. You've made a reputation for yourself that doesn't diminish.

21 You brought your people Israel out of Egypt with signs and wonders a powerful deliverance! by merely stretching out your arm.   MSG

Dan 4:2 It is my privilege to report to you the gracious miracles that the High God has done for me.

3 "His miracles are staggering, his wonders are surprising. His kingdom lasts and lasts, his sovereign rule goes on forever. MSG

Luke 10:17 The seventy came back triumphant. "Master, even the demons danced to your tune!"

18 Jesus said, "I know. I saw Satan fall, a bolt of lightning out of the sky.

19 See what I've given you? Safe passage as you walk on snakes and scorpions, and protection from every assault of the Enemy. No one can put a hand on you.

20 All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God's authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you that's the agenda for rejoicing."   MSG ↕↕↕

LUKE 10:17-20 When the seventy missionaries returned to Jesus, they were ecstatic with joy, telling him, Lord, even the demons obeyed us when we commanded them in your name!

18 Jesus replied, While you were ministering, I watched Satan topple until he fell suddenly from heaven like lightning to the ground.

19 Now you understand that I have imparted to you all my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every powerSatan possesses. Absolutely nothing will be able to harm you as you walk in this authority.

20 However, your real source of joy isnt merely that these spirits submit to your authority, but that your names are written in the journals of heaven and that you belong to Gods kingdom. This is the true source of your authority.  TPT

ACTS 5:12-16 The apostles performed many signs, wonders, and miracles among the people.

13 And the believers were wonderfully united as they met regularly in the temple courts in the area known as Solomons Porch. No one dared harm them, for everyone held them in high regard.

14 Continually more and more people believed in the Lordand were added to their numbergreat crowds of both men and women.

15 In fact, when people knew Peter was going to walk by, they carried the sick out to the streets and laid them down on cots and mats, knowing the incredible power emanating from him would overshadow them and heal them.

16 Great numbers of people swarmed into Jerusalem from the nearby villages. They brought with them the sick and those troubled by demonsand everyone was healed! TPT

Acts 14:3 So [Paul and Barnabas] stayed on there for a long time, speaking freely and fearlessly and boldly in the Lord, Who continued to bear testimony to the Word of His grace, granting signs and wonders to be performed by their hands. AMP

Rom 15:18-19 I could entertain you with all the details of my personal adventures, yet all I desire to communicate is how actively Christ worked through my words to grab the attention of the nations.

19 The message was confirmed in every sign and miracle in the power of the Holy Spirit. Thus, I went full circle from Jerusalem to Illyricum proclaiming the glad tidings of Christ in its most complete context. Mirror

RO 15:18-19 And I will not be presumptuous to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me. For many non-Jewish people are coming into faiths obedience by the power of the Spirit of God, which is displayed through mighty signs and amazing wonders, both in word and deed. Starting from Jerusalem I went from place to place as far as the distant Roman province of Illyricum, fully preaching the wonderful message of Christ.TPT

2 COR 12:12 The things that distinguish a true apostle were performed among you with great perseverancesupernatural signs, startling wonders, and awesome miracles. TPT

Acts 6:8 Now Stephen, full of grace (divine blessing and favor) and power (strength and ability) worked great wonders and signs (miracles) among the people.  AMP

Acts 8:6 And great crowds of people with one accord listened to and heeded what was said by Philip, as they heard him and watched the miracles and wonders which he kept performing [from time to time].  AMP

Dan 11:32 And such as violate the covenant he shall pervert and seduce with flatteries, but the people who know their God shall prove themselves strong and shall stand firm and do exploits [for God].  AMP

EPH 4:9-15 He ascended means that he returned to heaven, after he had first descended from the heights of heaven, even descending as far as the lowest parts of the earth.

10 The same one who descended is also the one who ascended above the heights of heaven, in order to begin the restoration and fulfillmentof all things.

11 And he has appointed some with grace to be apostles, and some with grace to be prophets, and some with grace to be evangelists, and some with grace to be pastors, and some with grace to be teachers.

12 And their calling is to nurture and prepare all the holy believers to do their own works of ministry, and as they do this they will enlarge and build up the body of Christ. 13 These grace ministries will function until we all attain oneness in the faith, until we all experience the fullness of what it means to know the Son of God, and finally we become one perfect manwith the full dimensions of spiritual maturity and fully developed in the abundance of Christ.

14 And then our immaturity will end! And we will not be easily shaken by trouble, nor led astray by novel teachings or by the false doctrines of deceivers[g] who teach clever lies. 15 But instead we will remain strong and always sincere in our love as we express the truth. All our direction and ministries will flow from Christ and lead us deeper into him, the anointed Head of his body, the church.  TPT

Eph 4:9-15. The fact that he ascended confirms his victorious decent into the deepest pits of human despair.

10 He now occupies the ultimate rank of authority, from the lowest regions of our darkness into which he reached in order to rescue us, to the highest authority in the heavens, having executed his mission to the full.

11 What God has in us, is gift wrapped to the world; some are commissioned to Pioneer, others are gifted prophetically, some announcers of good news, some shepherds with the real gift to care and nurture, and others have a gift to ignite instruction through revelation knowledge.

12 Each expression of his gift is to fully equip and enable you for the work of the ministry so you may mutually contribute in your specific function to give definition to the visible body of Christ.

13 The purpose of these ministry gifts is to present everyone on par and in oneness of faith; believing exactly what the Son of God believes and knowing accurately what he knows concerning us. Standing face-to-face in equal stature to the measure of the completeness of Christ.

14 This most dangerous life you can live is an ignorant one. You're left like an infant on a ship out of control in the waves and winds of the storms of life. The fall of the dice dictates while the deceptive teachings of men and their distracting tricks entertain.

15 Love gives truth its voice. The conversation that the truth inspires creates the atmosphere wherein growth is both spontaneous and inevitable. The whole person is addressed in Christ who is the head of the body; he is the conclusion of Gods communication with mankind. Mirror

HEB 2:4 Then God added his witness to theirs. He validated their ministry with signs, astonishing wonders, all kinds of powerful miracles, and by the gifts of the Holy Spirit, which he distributed as he desired. TPT

Heb 2:4 [Besides this evidence] it was also established and plainly endorsed by God, Who showed His approval of it by signs and wonders and various miraculous manifestations of [His] power and by imparting the gifts of the Holy Spirit [to the believers] according to His own will. AMP

Mark 16:15 And He said to them, Go into all the world and preach and publish openly the good news (the Gospel) to every creature [of the whole human race].

16 He who believes [who adheres to and trusts in and relies on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] and is baptized will be saved [from the penalty of eternal death]; but he who does not believe [who does not adhere to and trust in and rely on the Gospel and Him Whom it sets forth] will be condemned.

17 And these attesting signs will accompany those who believe: in My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages;

18 They will pick up serpents; and [even] if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will lay their hands on the sick, and they will get well.  AMP
