THE BLOOD THE CROSS  4-2-21 VIDEO LAMB OF GOD SACRIFICED 2

Blood represents life. Without blood there can be no life. There is a cost associated with the blood sacrifice it is the life of the one sacrifice. The Father gave the life physical and spiritual of his Son to pay the price for the sin of mankind. The blood represents freedom from bondage. The importance of the blood is that it transports oxygen from the lungs to all the tissues in the body. It absorbs and transports heat throughout the body. Blood is a mixture of plasma and blood cells. Jesus gave the sacrifice of his blood for all mankind. His blood opens the portals of heaven.

Ex 12:13-14 The blood shall be for a token or sign to you upon [the doorposts of] the houses where you are, [that] when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and no plague shall be upon you to destroy you when I smite the land of Egypt.

14 And this day shall be to you for a memorial. You shall keep it as a feast to the Lord throughout your generations, keep it as an ordinance forever.   AMP

Rom 5:7-9. It is most unlikely that someone would die for another person, Even if they are righteous; yet it is remotely possible that someone can brave such devotion that one would actually lay down ones on life in an effort to save the life of an extraordinary good person.

8 Hearing is the extremity of Gods love gift: mankind was rotten to the core with Christ died their death.

9. If God could love us that much when we were ungodly and guilty how much more are we free to realize his love now that we are declared innocent by his blood? Mirror

HEB 9:12-14 And he has entered once and forever into the Holiest Sanctuary of All, not with the blood of animal sacrifices, but the sacred blood of his own sacrifice. And he alone has made our salvationsecure forever!

13 Under the old covenant the blood of bulls, goats, and the ashes of a heifer were sprinkled on those who were defiled and effectively cleansed them outwardly from their ceremonial impurities.

14 Yet how much more will the sacred blood of the Messiah thoroughly cleanse our consciences! For by the power of the eternal Spirit he has offered himself to God as the perfectSacrifice that now freesus from our dead worksto worship and serve the living God. TPT

Heb 7:27. Unlike the previous high priests whose system of daily sacrifices was a constant reminder of their own failures, he had no need to sacrifice on his own behalf. The sacrifice he offered was himself for all; a sacrifice never to be repeated. Mirror

Heb 9: 26 For then would He often have had to suffer [over and over again] since the foundation of the world. But as it now is, He has once for all at the consummation and close of the ages appeared to put away and abolish sin by His sacrifice [of Himself].  AMP

PUT AWAY-Cancellation - disannulling, to thwart the efficacy of anything, to nullify, to frustrate it, rejected, to make void

HEB 10:19-20 And now we are brothers and sisters in Gods family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realmboldly and without hesitation.

20 For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him! TPT

Isa 52:14 [For many the Servant of God became an object of horror; many were astonished at Him.] His face and His whole appearance were marred more than any man's, and His form beyond that of the sons of men but just as many were astonished at Him,

15 So shall He startle and sprinkle many nations, and kings shall shut their mouths because of Him; for that which has not been told them shall they see, and that which they have not heard shall they consider and understand.  AMP

Or sprinkle many nations or Many nations will marvel at him. The words startle and sprinkle share a homonymic root. The idea is that Jesus would sprinkle to cleanse many with his redeeming blood and also that he would startle the nations with his resurrection power and endless life.

Heb 12:24 And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance].  AMP

↕↕↕

HEB 12:24 And we have come to Jesus who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, forgiveness, a better message than Abels blood that cries from the earth, justice. TPT

Zech 9:11 As for you also, because of and for the sake of the [covenant of the Lord with His people, which was sealed with sprinkled] covenant blood, I have released and sent forth your imprisoned people out of the waterless pit.

12 Return to the stronghold [of security and prosperity], you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you.  AMP

1 Jn 1:7. We are invited to explore the dimensions of the same light that engulfs God; when we see the light in his light, fellowship ignites! In his light we understand how the blood of Jesus Christ is the removal of every stain of sin! The success of the cross celebrates our redeemed innocence! Mirror

1 JN 1:7 But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds him, we share unbroken fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, continually cleanses us from all sin. TPT

1 Peter 1:18-21 It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in.

19 He paid with Christ's sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb.

20 And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately at the end of the ages become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you.

21 It's because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God. MSG

 ↕↕↕

1 PET 1:18-21 For you know that your lives were ransomed once and for all from the empty and futile way of life handed down from generation to generation. It was not a ransom payment of silver and gold, which eventually perishes,

19 but the precious blood of Christwho like a spotless, unblemished lamb was sacrificed for us.

20 This was part of Gods plan, for he was chosen and destined for this before the foundation of the earth was laid, but he has been made manifest in these last days for you.

21 It is through him that you now believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, so that you would fasten your faith and hope in God alone. TPT

Rom 3:25-26. Jesus exhibit Gods mercy. His blood conciliation Gods faith persuades mankind of his righteousness and the fact that he has brought closure to the historic record of their sins. Jesus is the unveiling of the Fathers heart towards us.

26. All along God refused to let go of mankind. At this very moment Gods act of righteousness is pointing them to the evidence of their innocence, with Jesus as the fountainhead of faith. Mirror

1 Jn 2:2-5. Jesus is our at-one-ment, he has conciliated us to himself and has taken our sins and distortions out of the equation. What he has accomplished is not to be seen as something that belongs to us exclusively; the same at-one-ment includes the entire cosmos!

3. In this we know that we know him; by treasuring the conclusion of his prophetic purpose.

4. To merely claim that you know him, based on your own academic or even sentimental interpretation of him, and not upon the conclusion of his prophetic purpose unveiled in a heart that treasures his truth, is to continue to live a life of pretense!

5. Whoever treasures the logic of Gods authentic thought, has his agape love fully realized in its most complete context. This is what our association and this union in Christ is all about!  Mirror

Rev 13:8 And all the inhabitants of the earth will fall down in adoration and pay him homage, everyone whose name has not been recorded in the Book of Life of the Lamb that was slain [in sacrifice] from the foundation of the world.  AMP

Rom 6:6 We know that our old (unrenewed) self was nailed to the cross with Him in order that [our] body [which is the instrument] of sin might be made ineffective and inactive for evil, that we might no longer be the slaves of sin.

7 For when a man dies, he is freed (loosed, delivered) from [the power of] sin [among men].  AMP

↕↕↕

Rom 6:6-7. We perceive that our old lifestyle was co-crucified together with him; this concludes that the vehicle that accommodated sin in us, was scrapped and rendered entirely useless. Our slavery to sin has come to an end.

7. If nothing else stops you from doing something wrong, death certainly does. Mirror

Col 1:20 Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe people and things, animals and atoms get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the Cross. MSG

 ↕↕↕

COL 1:20 And by the blood of his cross, everything in heaven and earth is brought back to himselfback to its original intent, restored to innocence again! TPT

Mark 15:17  They dressed him in purple, twisted some thorns into a crown, and placed it on his head. GOD'S WORD

Luke 22:44 And being in an agony [of mind], He prayed [all the] more earnestly and intently, and His sweat became like great clots of blood dropping down upon the ground.  AMP

Col 2:14-16. His body nailed to the cross hung there as the document of mankinds guilt; in dying our death he canceled the detailed handwritten record which testified against us. Every stain on our conscience, reminding of the sense of failure and guilt was fully blotted out.

15. In him dying mankinds death, he diffused every possible claim of accusation against the human race and thus made a public spectacle of every rule and authority in Gods brilliant triumph, demonstrated in him. The voice of the cross will never be silenced!

16.  Do not let anyone therefore bring a restriction on your freedom by reviving religious rules and regulations pertaining to eating and drinking, all Jewish festivals, new moons, and Sabbath have come to an end in Christ!  Mirror

HEB 12:2-4 We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectationonto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faiths perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you wont become worn down and cave in under lifes pressures.

After all, you have not yet reached the point of sweating bloodin your opposition to sin.  TPT

REV 12:11 They conquered him completely through the blood of the Lamb and the powerful word of his testimony. They triumphed because they did not love and cling to their own lives, even when faced with death. TPT

Luke 22:15 And He said to them, I have earnestly and intensely desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer;

16 For I say to you, I shall eat it no more until it is fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

17 And He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He said, Take this and divide and distribute it among yourselves;

18 For I say to you that from now on I shall not drink of the fruit of the vine at all until the kingdom of God comes.

19 Then He took a loaf [of bread], and when He had given thanks, He broke [it] and gave it to them saying, This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.

20 And in like manner, He took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament or covenant [ratified] in My blood, which is shed (poured out) for you.

offering sacrifices there is a remembrance of sins,  the memory of sins committed is revived by the sacrifices,

NT MEMORY- "in memory of" but in an affectionate calling of the Person Himself to mind; (b) not of the "remembrance" of sins, what is indicated, in regard to the sacrifices under the Law, is not simply an external bringing to "remembrance," but an awakening of mind

Eph 4:16 He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.

1 Cor 10:16  When we drink the cup of blessing, aren't we taking into ourselves the blood, the very life, of Christ? And isn't it the same with the loaf of bread we break and eat? Don't we take into ourselves the body, the very life, of Christ?
