ATTAINTING THE VERY BEST  5-30-21  VIDEO SEEK MY FACE

We are moving forward in our journey to attain and make our own everything Jesus has given us to by his life, death, and resurrection. Paul the apostle is a wonderful example of a man always moving forward and pressing on. He pressed into the things of God even though he had many distractions and trials but he kept going. What Paul went through in trials pales in comparison to what was revealed to him. Our quest-our journey is to behold God face to face. And in this we find fulfillment and purpose in our life. God made a promise and we need to recognize it. God said that we would see him face-to-face.

PHIL 3:10-12 Oh to comprehend the dynamic of his resurrection! His resurrection is evidence of our righteousness! In the revelation of Gods economy of inclusion, I actually co- suffered with him and co-died together with Christ!

11 When confronted with death, I actually come face to face with my own resurrection!

12 There may be blurry edges to my comprehending the full scope of resurrection life beyond the grave; but I pursue the complete conclusion of co-comprehending and fully grasping exactly that which Jesus Christ knew all along about me when he died my death; and to see me in his faith where I am so perfectly included when he rescued and raised me out of the grasp of death!

13 I am not boasting about this new found righteousness as if I came up with the idea; on the contrary, I have distanced myself from everything the do it yourself -system of the law of works and willpower previously represented in my reference; now I am fully engaged with that which the prophetic pointed to. Christ is what we  were  reaching for all along! Here he is in our face; within our immediate grasp!

14 I have the prize of mankinds redeemed innocence in full view; just like a champion athlete in the public games I refuse to be distracted by anything else. God has invited us in Christ, to lift up our eyes and realize our identity in him.MIRROR

PHIL 3:10-14  And I continually long to know the wonders of Jesus and to experience the overflowing power of his resurrection working in me. I will be one with him in his sufferings and become like him in his death.

11 Only then will I be able to experience complete oneness with him in his resurrection from the realm of death.

12 I admit that I havent yet acquired the absolute fullness that Im pursuing, but I run with passion into his abundance so that I may reach the purpose for which Christ Jesus laid hold of me to make me his own.

13 I dont depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.

14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.  TPT

Phil 3:10-14 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].

12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.  AMP

MATT 6:33-34 So above all, constantly seek Gods kingdomand his righteousness, then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

34 Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself. TPT

Ps 27:4 One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple.  AMP

↕↕↕

PS 27:4 Heres the one thing I crave from Yahweh, the one thing I seek above all else:I want to live with him every moment in his house, beholding the marvelous beautyof Yahweh, filled with awe, delighting in his glory and grace.  I want to contemplatein his temple. TPT

PROV 1:10 When peer pressure compels you to go with the crowd and sinners invite you to join in, you must simply say, No! TPT

2 COR 4:8 Though we experience every kind of pressure, were not crushed. At times we dont know what to do, but quitting is not an option. TPT

ROM 5:3-5 But thats not all! Even in times of trouble we have a joyful confidence, knowing that our pressureswill develop in us patient endurance.

And patient endurance will refine our character, and proven character leads us back to hope.

And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because we can now experience the endless love of God cascading into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who lives in us! TPT

2 COR 11:26-29 In my difficult travels Ive faced many dangerous situations: perilous rivers, robbers, foreigners, and even my own people. Ive survived deadly peril in the city, in the wilderness, with storms at sea, and with spies posing as believers.

27 Ive toiled to the point of exhaustion and gone through many sleepless nights. Ive frequently been deprived of food and water, left hungry and shivering out in the cold, lacking proper clothing.

28 And besides these painful circumstances, I have the daily pressure of my responsibility for all the churches, with a deep concern weighing heavily on my heart for their welfare.

29 I am not aloof, for who is desperate and weak and I do not feel their weakness? Who is led astray into sin and I do not burn with zeal to restore him?  TPT

2 Cor 4:17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!], AMP

2 COR 12:1-6 Although it may not accomplish a thing, I need to move on and boast about supernatural visions and revelations of the Lord.

Someone Im acquainted with, who is in union with Christ, was swept away fourteen years ago in an ecstatic experience. He was taken into the third heaven, but Im not sure if he was in his body or out of his bodyonly God knows.

And I know that this man(again, Im not sure if he was still in his body or taken out of his bodyGod knows)

was caught up in an ecstatic experience and brought into paradise, where he overheard many wondrous and inexpressible secretsthat were so sacred that no mortal is permitted to repeat them.

Im ready to boast of such an experience, but for my own good I refuse to boast unless it concerns my weaknesses.

However, if I were to boast, it wouldnt be ridiculous at all, for I would be speaking the truth. Yet I will refrain, lest others think higher of me than what I demonstrate with my life and teaching. TPT

PRO 24:10 If you faint when under pressure, you have need of courage. TPT

PRO 24:13-14 Revelation-knowledge is a delicacy, sweet like flowing honey that melts in your mouth. Eat as much of it as you can, my friend!
14 For then you will perceive what is true wisdom, your future will be bright, and this hope living within you will never disappoint you. TPT

HEB 12:3 So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you wont become worn down and cave in under lifes pressures.  TPT

Mark 9:2  Six days after this, Jesus took with Him Peter and James and John and led them up on a high mountain apart by themselves. And He was transfigured before them and became resplendent with divine brightness.

3 And His garments became glistening, intensely white, as no fuller (cloth dresser, launderer) on earth could bleach them.

4 And Elijah appeared [there] to them, accompanied by Moses, and they were holding [a protracted] conversation with Jesus.

5 And Peter took up the conversation, saying, Master, it is good and suitable and beautiful for us to be here. Let us make three booths (tents) one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah.

6 For he did not [really] know what to say, for they were in a violent fright (aghast with dread).

7 And a cloud threw a shadow upon them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, the [most dearworthy] Beloved One. Be constantly listening to and obeying Him!  AMP

2 Cor 3:18 We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfiguredinto his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. TPT

2 Cor 3:18 The days of window-shopping are over! In him every face is unveiled In gazing with wonder at the blueprint likeness of God displayed in human form, we suddenly realize that we are looking at ourselves! Every  feature of his image is mirrored  in  us!  This is the most radical  transformation engineered by the Spirit of the Lord; we are led from an inferior mindset to the revealed endorsement of our authentic identity. You  are his glory! MIRROR

↕↕↕

2 Cor 3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit.  AMP

1 COR 13:12-13 For now we see but a faint reflection of riddles and mysteriesas though reflected in a mirror, but one day we will see face-to-face. My understanding is incomplete now, but one day I will understand everything, just as everything about me has been fully understood.

13 Until then, there are three things that remain: faith, hope, and loveyet love surpasses them all. So above all else, let love be the beautiful prize for which you run. TPT

Gods face is revealed in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit comes in power to transform lives, churches, and cities the face of God is in reach. His face expresses the heart of who he is and what he is like. Bill Johnson
