TAKE NO OFFENSE 7-24-22  VIDEO PRISON OF OFFENCE 2

Do not give in to be offended or give into staying in the offense. One of the tactics of the enemy is to remind you how you have been offended or the wrongs by a brother or sister and then distraction tries to overtake us from moving forward in our destiny. To take in an offense is to become angry or upset by something another person has done or said. It is to be angry. Jesus spoke the truth about the kingdom and  many were offended by him and could not enter in. Let us forgive and give up "our right" to be offended.

Proverbs 18:19 It is easier to conquer a strong city than to win back a friend whom you've offended. Their walls go up, making it nearly impossible to win them back. TPT

Matt 24:5 For many will come in (on the strength of) My name [appropriating the name which belongs to Me], saying, I am the Christ (the Messiah), and they will lead many astray.

6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in place after place;

8 All this is but the beginning [the early pains] of the birth pangs [of the intolerable anguish].

9 Then they will hand you over to suffer affliction and tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for My name's sake.

10 And then many will be offended and repelled and will begin to distrust and desert [Him Whom they ought to trust and obey] and will stumble and fall away and betray one another and pursue one another with hatred.

11 And many false prophets will rise up and deceive and lead many into error.

12 And the love of the great body of people will grow cold because of the multiplied lawlessness and iniquity,  AMP

LUKE7:23 And tell him, not to allow the idea of fate or judgment to rob him of the bliss of knowing who he is and what he has in me. Offence is a snare. MIRROR

James 1:19  Understand [this], my beloved brethren. Let every man be quick to hear [a ready listener], slow to speak, slow to take offense and to get angry.

20 For man's anger does not promote the righteousness God [wishes and requires]. AMP  ↕↕↕

James 1:19 My dearest brothers and sisters, take this to heart: Be quick to listen, but slow to speak. And be slow to become angry,

Matthew 13:56 And don't his sisters all live here in Nazareth? From where then did he get all this revelation and power?

57And the people became offended and began to turn against him.

Jesus said, There's only one place a prophet isn't honoredhis own home-town! 58And their unbelief kept him from doing many mighty miracles in Nazareth. TPT

1 COR 10:32 So live your life in freedom and wisdom. Thus the Jews, the Gentiles and the church will all witness the attraction of your life without taking any offence.

33 I am so persuaded about every persons inclusion in Christ that I desire to be everything I need to be in order to win everyones understanding of their union with Christ; my mission is to be exactly what is required of me in every possible situation to awaken every kind of person, whoever they are, to own their salvation! 32But instead be kind and affectionate toward one another. Has God graciously forgiven you? Then graciously forgive one another in the depths of Christ's love.  TPT

↕↕↕

COL 3: 8 But now, because you realize that you co-died and were co-raised together with Christ, you can flush your thoughts with truth! Permanently put these things behind you: things such as violent outbursts of rage, depression, all manner of wickedness, slander and every form of irregular conversation. MIRROR

Matt 18:15  "If a fellow believer hurts you, go and tell him work it out between the two of you. If he listens, you've made a friend.

16 If he won't listen, take one or two others along so that the presence of witnesses will keep things honest, and try again.

17 If he still won't listen, tell the church. If he won't listen to the church, you'll have to start over from scratch, confront him with the need for repentance, and offer again God's forgiving love.  MSG

2 COR 12:10 I now enjoy a delightfully different frame of mind when I encounter things that would normally make me feel frail, whether it be from insults or when I am in situations where Im forced to do things with my arms twisted behind my back; whether I am persecuted or feel squeezed into claustrophobic spaces. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Now, if anyone is enfolded into Christ, he has become an entirely new person. All that is related to the old order has vanished. Behold, everything is fresh and new.

18And God has made all things new, and reconciled us to himself, and given us the ministry of reconciling others to God.

19In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God.

20We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ's behalf, Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.  TPT

2 Cor 5:17 Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new. The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it!

18 All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other.

19 God put the world square with himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins. God has given us the task of telling everyone what he is doing.

20 We're Christ's representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God's work of making things right between them. We're speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; he's already a friend with you.   MSG
