Matt 13:13 This is the reason that I speak to them in parables: because having the power of seeing, they do not see; and having the power of hearing, they do not hear, nor do they grasp and understand. AMP
GEN 30:29Jacob replied, You know how hard Ive worked for you and how your livestock has increased under my care. 30The little you had before I came has multiplied greatly, for Yahweh has blessed you wonderfully because I am here. But now, I need to provide for my own family, too. 31So Laban asked, What should I give you? Nothing, Jacob replied, You dont need to give me a thing. If you will do but one thing for me, I will continue to care for your flocks: 32Just let me pass through all your flocks today and take out every speckled and spotted sheep or goat, and every black lamb. Thats all the payment I ask. 33And in the future, when you review my wages, the integrity of my dealings with you will be obvious. If you find any animal among mine that is not speckled, spotted, or black, then you will know that I stole it.
34Agreed! Laban said. Well do what youve suggested. 35But that same day, Laban secretly removed all the male and female goats that were speckled or spotted (all that had white on them) and all the black lambs and left them under the care of his sons. 36He set a distance of a three-day journey between himself and Jacob, while Jacob continued to tend the rest of Labans flocks.
37Jacob, however, cut green branches of poplar, almond, and plane trees and peeled back part of their bark, to expose the white inner wood of the branches. 38Then he set the partially peeled branches inside the water troughs where the goats would see them when they came to drink. 39For they mated when they came to the water troughs, and as they lowered their heads to drink, they saw the stripped branches in front of their eyes. Miraculously they gave birth to streaked, speckled, and spotted young.
40But with the mating ewes, on the other hand, he made them face the streaked or completely black animals in Labans flock. By doing this, he produced his own special flocks, which he didnt allow to mingle with Labans. 41Moreover, every time the stronger females were in heat, Jacob laid the partially peeled branches in the water troughs in front of the flock, so that they would mate among the branches. 42But he didnt place the branches in front of the scrawny goats when they mated, leaving the feeble animals for Laban and the stronger for himself. 43In this way, Jacob quickly grew very wealthy and owned large flocks, a great number of camels and donkeys, and many male and female servants. LUKE 4:1-2 From the moment of his baptism, Jesus overflowed with the Holy Spirit. He was taken by the Spirit from the Jordan into the wilderness of Judea to experience for forty days the ordeal of testing by the accuser. He ate no food during this time and ended his forty-day fast very hungry. 3It was then the devil said to him, If you are really the Son of God, command this stone to turn into a loaf of bread for you.
4Jesus replied, I will not! For it is written in the Scriptures, Life does not come only from eating bread but from God. Life flows from every revelation from his mouth.
5The devil lifted Jesus high into the sky, and in a flash showed him all the kingdoms and regions of the world. 6-7The devil then said to Jesus, All of this, with all its power, authority, and splendor, is mine to give to whomever I wish. Just do one thing, and you will have it all. Simply bow down to worship me, and it will be yours! You will possess everything!
8Jesus rebuked him and said, Satan, get behind me! For it is written in the Scriptures, Only One is worthy of adoration; therefore, worship only the Lord your God and love him supremely.
9Next, the devil took Jesus to Jerusalem, set him on the highest point of the temple, and tempted him, saying, If you really are the Son of God, jump down in front of all the people. 10-11For it is written in the Scriptures, God has given his angels instructions to protect you from harm. For angels hands will hold you up and keep you from hurting even one foot on a stone.
12Jesus replied, It is also written in the Scriptures, How dare you provoke the Lord your God!
13That silenced the devils harassment for the time being. So he retreated until an opportune time. TPT

GEN 3:1Now the snake was the most cunning of all living beings that Yahweh-God had made. He deviously asked the woman, Did God really tell you, You must not eat fruit from any tree of the garden?
2But the woman interrupted, We may eat the fruit of any tree in the garden, 3except the tree in the center of the garden. God told us, Dont eat its fruit, or even touch it, or youll die.
4But the snake said to her, You certainly wont die. 5God knows that the moment you eat it, your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.
6When the woman saw that the tree produced delicious fruit, delightful to look upon, and desirable to give one insight, she took its fruit and ate it. She gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he also ate it. 7Immediately, their eyes were opened, and they realized they were naked, vulnerable, and ashamed; so they sewed fig leaves together for coverings. John 12:40 He has blinded their eyes and hardened and benumbed their [callous, degenerated] hearts [He has made their minds dull], to keep them from seeing with their eyes and understanding with their hearts and minds and repenting and turning to Me to heal them.
Matt 13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

JESUS SEEING GODS WILL Luke 6:20 And solemnly lifting up His eyes on His disciples, He said: Blessed (happy-- with life-joy and satisfaction in God's favor and salvation, apart from your outward condition--and to be envied) are you poor and lowly and afflicted (destitute of wealth, influence, position, and honor), for the kingdom of God is yours!
