He says that we are light as well. Darkness has nothing in common with us. Light has a renewing and regulatory power. In the Greek light means PHOS, shining right through darkness. Without price we used to be dead. But now because of Jesus, who is light, we are an alive! Light becomes our weapon.
2 COR 4:6 The light source is founded in the same God who said, Light, be! And light shone out of darkness! He lit the lamp in our understanding so that we may clearly recognize the features of his likeness in the face of Jesus Christ reflected within us.
