KNOWING THE CHARACTER OF OUR GOD 5-31-26
What if today, May 31, the last day of the month you made a pledge to know the father better. What if we would become a people who wanted to be His people. Like David wanted to know Him by being after His heart, what if that could be us. The true knowledge of God is not just intellectual, but intimate personal and life-changing. Experience Gods love tells us so much about who He is. He is our father who knew us before we were born. To know the Father, we must know Jesus.
JN 17:3 This life of the ages, invites them to engage in the inexhaustible adventure of knowing you, the only true God and Jesus as the Christ whom you have commissioned! MIRROR

1 JN 4:7 Beloved, love always includes others, since love springs from God; its source is found in the fellowship of the Father, Spirit and Son. Everyone who encounters love immediately knows that they too are born of the same source! It is not possible to fully participate in love without discovering God. To love is to know God; to know God is to love.
8 Not to love, is not to know God. There is nothing in love that distracts from who God is. Love is who God is - they are inseparable. MIRROR
1 JN 4:10 Love is not defined by our love for God, but by his love for us! It is not our response to God that attracts his attention; we have always had his undivided affection as declared in the prophetic promise and finally demonstrated in his Sons commission and work of atonement for our sins.
11 Loved Ones! If this is true about Gods love for us, it is equally true of his love in us for others! MIRROR
HOSEA 6:3 'So let us know and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the [greatness of the] Lord [to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him]. Hosea 6:3 and truly know him. Let us come to know Yahweh intimately and eagerly press in to know him fully. He will come to us as surely as the sun rises to greet us each day. He will come to us like refreshing rain, like a spring rain that showers the earth. TPT

PS 46:10 'Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth. ' AMP
JN 3:16-17 The entire cosmos is the object of Gods affection! And he is not about to abandon his creation - the gift of his Son is for mankind to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth - begotten not of flesh but of the Father! God has no intention to condemn anyone - he sent his Son, not to be the Judge but the Savior of the world. MIRROR
MIC 6:8 But he's already made it plain how to live, what to do, what God is looking for in men and women. It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don't take yourself too seriously - take God seriously. MSG
ROM 5:8 But Christ proved Gods passionate love for us by dying in our place while we were still lost and ungodly!
9 And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, You are now righteous in my sight. And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God.
10 So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciled us to himself through the death of his Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in his resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sins dominion! TPT

ROM 5:8 Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didnt, and doesnt, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadnt been so weak, we wouldnt have known what to do anyway. We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.
9-11 Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way. If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that were at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! Now that we have actually received this amazing friendship with God, we are no longer content to simply say it in plodding prose. We sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah! MSG
