GETTING READY FOR THE JOY OF THE LORD 8-21-26 VIDEO
From the very beginning of creation till now, it was always Gods intention that we would be Spirit like He is. To be in the Spirit means you are more conscious of God and the things of God and His presence rather than the things of this world. Just like our creator, we are Spirit and where the Spirit is there is freedom. John was able to receive by the Holy Spirit Divine revelation beyond ordinary perception. John received revelation light. Living light in the Spirit. He was no longer on Patmos, but translated into heaven. Through the Spirit we do not sin. It was the Holy Spirit, who came up upon Mary to make her pregnant with the very life of Jesus. Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit.
1 COR 15:51 But let me tell you something wonderful, a mystery I'll probably never fully understand. We're not all going to die - but we are all going to be changed.
52 You hear a blast to end all blasts from a trumpet, and in the time that you look up and blink your eyes - it's over. On signal from that trumpet from heaven, the dead will be up and out of their graves, beyond the reach of death, never to die again. At the same moment and in the same way, we'll all be changed.
53 In the resurrection scheme of things, this has to happen: everything perishable taken off the shelves and replaced by the imperishable, this mortal replaced by the immortal.
54 Then the saying will come true: Death swallowed by triumphant Life!
55 Who got the last word, oh, Death? Oh, Death, who's afraid of you now?
56 It was sin that made death so frightening and law-code guilt that gave sin its leverage, its destructive power.
57 But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three - sin, guilt, death - are gone, the gift of our Master, Jesus Christ. Thank God!
58 With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don't hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort. MSG
1 THESS 4:13 And regarding the question, friends, that has come up about what happens to those already dead and buried, we don't want you in the dark any longer. First off, you must not carry on over them like people who have nothing to look forward to, as if the grave were the last word.
14 Since Jesus died and broke loose from the grave, God will most certainly bring back to life those who died in Jesus.
15 And then this: We can tell you with complete confidence - we have the Master's word on it - that when the Master comes again to get us, those of us who are still alive will not get a jump on the dead and leave them behind. In actual fact, they'll be ahead of us.
16 The Master himself will give the command. Archangel thunder! God's trumpet blast! He'll come down from heaven and the dead in Christ will rise - they'll go first.
17 Then the rest of us who are still alive at the time will be caught up with them into the clouds to meet the Master.
18 Oh, we'll be walking on air! And then there will be one huge family reunion with the Master. So reassure one another with these words. MSG
1 THESS 5:9 God didn't set us up for an angry rejection but for salvation by our Master, Jesus Christ.
10 He died for us, a death that triggered life. Whether we're awake with the living or asleep with the dead, we're alive with him!
11 So speak encouraging words to one another. Build up hope so you'll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind. I know you're already doing this; just keep on doing it. MSG
ROM 5:6 Christ arrives right on time to make this happen. He didn't, and doesn't, wait for us to get ready. He presented himself for this sacrificial death when we were far too weak and rebellious to do anything to get ourselves ready. And even if we hadn't been so weak, we wouldn't have known what to do anyway.
7 We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice.
8 But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.
9 Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way.
10 If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we're at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! MSG
ACTS 3:28 You have acquainted me with the paths of life; there is nowhere on this road, where you are absent! I am in such 'a happy frame of mind - am satisfied with joy in this face to face place! MIRROR
COL 3:2 Don't shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ - that's where the action is. See things from his perspective. MSG
Ps 5:11 But you'll welcome us with open arms when we run for cover to you. Let the party last all night! Stand guard over our celebration. MSG
Zeph 3:17 The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing. AMP
