STATURE 9-19-14  VIDEO HOW BIG IS GOD 2

STATURE-Measure greatness, degree of development attained, level of great achievement.  How tall you are,

Ps 113:4 GOD is higher than anything and anyone, outshining everything you can see in the skies.

5 Who can compare with GOD, our God, so majestically enthroned,

6 Surveying his magnificent heavens and earth? MSG

Ps 97:9 For You, Lord, are high above all the earth; You are exalted far above all gods.   AMP

Isa 40:12 The Creator of All You Can See or Imagine Who has scooped up the ocean in his two hands, or measured the sky between his thumb and little finger, Who has put all the earth's dirt in one of his baskets, weighed each mountain and hill?

Isa 48:13 Yes, My hand has laid the foundation of the earth, and My right hand has spread out the heavens; when I call to them, they stand forth together [to execute My decrees].   AMP

Prov 30:4 Has anyone ever seen Anyone climb into Heaven and take charge?

grab the winds and control them? gather the rains in his bucket? stake out the ends of the earth? Just tell me his name, tell me the names of his sons. Come on now tell me!"  MSG

JESUS John 10:29 My Father, Who has given them to Me, is greater and mightier than all [else]; and no one is able to snatch [them] out of the Father's hand.  AMP

Mic 5:4 He will stand tall in his shepherd-rule by God's strength, centered in the majesty of God-Revealed. And the people will have a good and safe home, for the whole world will hold him in respect   Peacemaker of the world! MSG

Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom (in broad and full understanding) and in stature and years, and in favor with God and man.  AMP

↕↕↕

Luke 2:52  And Jesus matured, growing up in both body and spirit, blessed by both God and people. MSG

MEN SEES

Luke 2:47 And all who heard Him were astonished and overwhelmed with bewildered wonder at His intelligence and understanding and His replies.

48 And when they [Joseph and Mary] saw Him, they were amazed; and His mother said to Him, Child, why have You treated us like this? Here Your father and I have been anxiously looking for You [distressed and tormented].

49 And He said to them, How is it that you had to look for Me? Did you not see and know that it is necessary [as a duty] for Me to be in My Father's house and [occupied] about My Father's business?  AMP   ↕↕↕

Luke 2:47 The teachers were all quite taken with him, impressed with the sharpness of his answers.

48 But his parents were not impressed; they were upset and hurt. His mother said, "Young man, why have you done this to us? Your father and I have been half out of our minds looking for you."

49 He said, "Why were you looking for me? Didn't you know that I had to be here, dealing with the things of my Father?"  MSG

Matt 13:54 And coming to His own country [Nazareth], He taught in their synagogue so that they were amazed with bewildered wonder, and said, Where did this Man get this wisdom and these miraculous powers?

55 Is not this the carpenter's Son? Is not His mother called Mary? And are not His brothers James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?

56 And do not all His sisters live here among us? Where then did this Man get all this?

AMP ↕↕↕

Matt 13:54 returned to his hometown, and gave a lecture in the meetinghouse. He made a real hit, impressing everyone. "We had no idea he was this good!" they said. "How did he get so wise, get such ability?"

55 But in the next breath they were cutting him down: "We've known him since he was a kid; he's the carpenter's son. We know his mother, Mary. We know his brothers James and Joseph, Simon and Judas.

56 All his sisters live here. Who does he think he is?"  MSG

GIANTS Num 13:32  So they brought the Israelites an evil report of the land which they had scouted out, saying, The land through which we went to spy it out is a land that devours its inhabitants. And all the people that we saw in it are men of great stature.  AMP

↕↕↕

Num 13:32  They spread scary rumors among the People of Israel. They said, "We scouted out the land from one end to the other it's a land that swallows people whole. Everybody we saw was huge. MSG

DAVID 1 Sam 16:7 But the Lord said to Samuel, Look not on his appearance or at the height of his stature, for I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees; for man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.  AMP

↕↕↕

1 Sam 16:7  But God told Samuel, "Looks aren't everything. Don't be impressed with his looks and stature. I've already eliminated him. God judges persons differently than humans do. Men and women look at the face; God looks into the heart." MSG

Zacchaeus   Luke 19:3  He wanted desperately to see Jesus, but the crowd was in his way he was a short man and couldn't see over the crowd.

4 So he ran on ahead and climbed up in a sycamore tree so he could see Jesus when he came by.

5 When Jesus got to the tree, he looked up and said, "Zacchaeus, hurry down. Today is my day to be a guest in your home."

6 Zacchaeus scrambled out of the tree, hardly believing his good luck, delighted to take Jesus home with him.

7 Everyone who saw the incident was indignant and grumped, "What business does he have getting cozy with this crook?"

8 Zacchaeus just stood there, a little stunned. He stammered apologetically, "Master, I give away half my income to the poor and if I'm caught cheating, I pay four times the damages."

9 Jesus said, "Today is salvation day in this home! Here he is: Zacchaeus, son of Abraham!

10 For the Son of Man came to find and restore the lost."  MSG

Luke 12:25 And which of you by being overly anxious and troubled with cares can add a cubit to his stature or a moment [unit] of time to his age [the length of his life]?  AMP  ↕↕↕

Luke 12:25  "Has anyone by fussing before the mirror ever gotten taller by so much as an inch? MSG

1 Cor 2:6  Yet when we are among the full-grown (spiritually mature Christians who are ripe in understanding), we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden); but it is indeed not a wisdom of this present age or of this world nor of the leaders and rulers of this age, who are being brought to nothing and are doomed to pass away.

7 But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from the human understanding] and now revealed to us by God [that wisdom] which God devised and decreed before the ages for our glorification [to lift us into the glory of His presence].

8 None of the rulers of this age or world perceived and recognized and understood this, for if they had, they would never have crucified the Lord of glory.

9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].

10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny].  AMP

SATAN Isa 14:13 You said to yourself, "I'll climb to heaven. I'll set my throne over the stars of God. I'll run the assembly of angels that meets on sacred Mount Zaphon.

14 I'll climb to the top of the clouds. I'll take over as King of the Universe!"

15 But you didn't make it, did you? instead of climbing up, you came down

Down with the underground dead, down to the abyss of the Pit.

16 People will stare and muse: "Can this be the one Who terrorized earth and its kingdoms,    VIDEO HOW BIG IS YOUR JESUS FUNNY

1 Cor 14:20 Brethren, do not be children [immature] in your thinking; continue to be babes in [matters of] evil, but in your minds be mature [men].  AMP

↕↕↕

1 Cor 14:20  To be perfectly frank, I'm getting exasperated with your infantile thinking. How long before you grow up and use your head your adult head? It's all right to have a childlike unfamiliarity with evil; a simple no is all that's needed there. But there's far more to saying yes to something. Only mature and well-exercised intelligence can save you from falling into gullibility. MSG

Col 1:28  Him we preach and proclaim, warning and admonishing everyone and instructing everyone in all wisdom (comprehensive insight into the ways and purposes of God), that we may present every person mature (full-grown, fully initiated, complete, and perfect) in Christ (the Anointed One).  AMP

↕↕↕

Col 1:28  We preach Christ, warning people not to add to the Message. We teach in a spirit of profound common sense so that we can bring each person to maturity. To be mature is to be basic. Christ! No more, no less. MSG

Eph 4:10 He Who descended is the [very] same as He Who also has ascended high above all the heavens, that He [His presence] might fill all things (the whole universe, from the lowest to the highest).  AMP

↕↕↕

Eph 4:10  And the One who climbed down is the One who climbed back up, up to highest heaven. He handed out gifts above and below, filled heaven with his gifts,

11 filled earth with his gifts. He handed out gifts of apostle, prophet, evangelist, and pastor-teacher

12 to train Christians in skilled servant work, working within Christ's body, the church,

13 until we're all moving rhythmically and easily with each other, efficient and graceful in response to God's Son, fully mature adults, fully developed within and without, fully alive like Christ.

14 No prolonged infancies among us, please. We'll not tolerate babes in the woods, small children who are an easy mark for impostors.

15 God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do.

16 He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love.  MSG

Col 2:19 And not holding fast to the Head, from Whom the entire body, supplied and knit together by means of its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God. AMP

↕↕↕

Col 2:19  They're completely out of touch with the source of life, Christ, who puts us together in one piece, whose very breath and blood flow through us. He is the Head and we are the body. We can grow up healthy in God only as he nourishes us. MSG

Heb 6:1 THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ (the Messiah), advancing steadily toward the completeness and perfection that belong to spiritual maturity. Let us not again be laying the foundation of repentance and abandonment of dead works (dead formalism) and of the faith [by which you turned] to God,  AMP

↕↕↕

Heb 6:1 So come on, let's leave the preschool fingerpainting exercises on Christ and get on with the grand work of art. Grow up in Christ. The basic foundational truths are in place: turning your back on "salvation by self-help" and turning in trust toward God; MSG

1 Peter 2:3  Now, like infants at the breast, drink deep of God's pure kindness. Then you'll grow up mature and whole in God. MSG

1 Cor 8:1  NOW ABOUT food offered to idols: of course we know that all of us possess knowledge [concerning these matters. Yet mere] knowledge causes people to be puffed up (to bear themselves loftily and be proud), but love (affection and goodwill and benevolence) edifies and builds up and encourages one to grow [to his full stature].  AMP

Col 2:10  And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead Father, Son and Holy Spirit and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power].  AMP

Eph 1:19 oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him endless energy, boundless strength!

20 All this energy issues from Christ: God raised him from death and set him on a throne in deep heaven,

21 in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever.

22 He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church.

23 The church, you see, is not peripheral to the world; the world is peripheral to the church. The church is Christ's body, in which he speaks and acts, by which he fills everything with his presence. MSG
