MERCY TRUMPHS OVER JUDGEMENT 6-24-22

MERCY TRUMPHS OVER JUDGEMENT 6-24-22  VIDEO

Mercy is compassion or forgiveness shown towards someone whom it is within our power to punish or harm. Many have spoken in the body of Christ about judgment against people who don’t agree with them. I’m not saying to call evil good, definitely speak your opinion in the light of the Word. Always be encouraging. Give an opportunity for mercy to move upon all. For if you extend mercy the others, and your time of need you will reap mercy.

James 2:12  So speak and so act as [people should] who are to be judged under the law of liberty [the moral instruction given by Christ, especially about love].

13 For to him who has shown no mercy the judgment [will be] merciless, but mercy [full of glad confidence] exults victoriously over judgment.  AMP

James 2:12 Talk and act like a person expecting to be judged by the Rule that sets us free.

13 For if you refuse to act kindly, you can hardly expect to be treated kindly. Kind mercy wins over harsh judgment every time.  MSG

Matthew 9:10Jesus went to Matthew’s house and made himself at home. Many other tax collectors and outcasts of society were invited to eat with Jesus and his disciples.

11When those known as the Pharisees saw what was happening, they were indignant, and they kept asking Jesus’ disciples, “Why would your Master dine with such lowlifes?”

12When Jesus overheard this, he spoke up and said, “Healthy people don’t need to see a doctor, but the sick will go for treatment.”

13Then he added, “Now you should go and study the meaning of the verse:

I want you to show mercy, not just offer me a sacrifice. For I have come to invite the outcasts of society and sinners, not those who think they are already on the right path.”  TPT

Romans 3:25Jesus’ God-given destiny was to be the sacrifice to take away sins, and now he is our mercy seat because of his death on the cross. We come to him for mercy, for God has made a provision for us to be forgiven by faith in the sacred blood of Jesus. This is the perfect demonstration of God’s justice, because until now, he had been so patient—holding back his justice out of his tolerance for us. So he covered over the sins of those who lived prior to Jesus’ sacrifice.

26And when the season of tolerance came to an end, there was only one possible way for God to give away his righteousness and still be true to both his justice and his mercy—to offer up his own Son. So now, because we stand on the faithfulness of Jesus, God declares us righteous in his eyes!  TPT

ROM 3:25 Jesus exhibits God’s mercy. In his blood conciliation God’s faith persuades mankind of his righteousness and the fact that he has brought closure to the historic record of their sins.  Jesus is the unveiling of the Father’s heart towards us.

26 All along God refused to let go of mankind. At this very moment God’s act of

righteousness is pointing them to the evidence of their innocence, with Jesus as the fountainhead of faith. MIRROR

Romans 9:15He had every right to say to Moses: “I will be merciful to whomever I choose and I will show compassion to whomever I wish.”

16Again, this proves that God’s choice doesn’t depend on how badly someone wants it or tries to earn it, but it depends on God’s kindness and mercy. TPT

2 COR 1:3 Well done, God! You are the Father of our Master Jesus Christ; you are the Father of compassion and the God in whom everyone is equally esteemed!

4 There is no contradiction of any proportion that we can possibly face that has what it takes to exasperate us or distance us from God. Our consciousness of his inseparable nearness immediately reinforces us to extend the same tangible closeness to you in your difficult times, and together we snuggle up in the comfort of his intimate embrace!  MIRROR

EPH 2:4 None of this could distract from the extravagant love of God; he continued to love us with the exact same intensity.

5 This is how grace rescued us: while we were yet in that state of deadness and indifference in our deviations, we were co-quickened together with Christ! We had nothing to do with it. Grace freed us, once and for all from the lies that we believed about ourselves under the performance-driven system, and now defines our authentic identity!

6 We are co-included in his resurrection. We are also co-elevated in his ascension to be equally present in the throne room of the heavenly realm where we are co-seated with him in his executive authority. We are fully represented in Christ Jesus. MIRROR
