COURAGE TO CONQUER  2-3-23 VIDEO COURAGE 2

What have you been afraid of? The fear has kept you captive… But the word says you are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus. We’ve gained a surpassing victory in Christ Jesus over any obstacles. Take courage. Many times when Jesus was healing or ministering to people, He told them to take courage. And sometimes it takes courage to believe God for something more when all your experiences say you won’t make it. It takes courage to believe for a miracle. The people who see themselves as God sees them really move in conquering all things. The Holy Spirit gives us courage. Through Christ, we have courage to overcome lies of the enemy, and be victorious in all things.

Rom 8:37 Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

38 For I am persuaded beyond doubt (am sure) that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things impending and threatening nor things to come, nor powers,

39 Nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.  AMP

RO 8:37 On the contrary, in the thick of these things our triumph remains beyond dispute. His love has placed us above the reach of any onslaught.

38 This is my conviction; no threat whether it be in death or life; be it celestial messengers, demon powers or political principalities, nothing known to us at this time, or even in the unknown future;

39 no dimension of any calculation in time or space, nor any device yet to be invented, has what it takes to separate us from the love of God unveiled in our Lord, Jesus Christ.  MIRROR

50 And throwing off his outer garment, he leaped up and came to Jesus.

51 And Jesus said to him, What do you want Me to do for you? And the blind man said to Him, Master, let me receive my sight.

52 And Jesus said to him, Go your way; your faith has healed you. And at once he received his sight and accompanied Jesus on the road. AMP

ROM 4:17 When God changed Abram’s name to Abraham, he made a public statement that he would be the father of all nations.  Here we see Abraham faced with God’s faith; the kind of faith that resurrects the dead and calls things which are not  as though they were.

18 Faith gave substance to hope when everything seemed hopeless; the words, “so shall your seed be” conceived in him the faith of fatherhood.

19 Abraham’s faith would have been nullified if he were to take his own age and the deadness of Sarah’s womb into account. His hundred year old body and Sarah’s barren womb did not distract him in the least! He finally knew that no contribution from their side could possibly assist God in fulfilling his promise!

20 While he had every reason to doubt the promise, he did not hesitate for a moment but instead empowered by faith confidence, he continued to communicate God’s opinion.

21 Abraham’s confidence was his dress-code; he knew beyond doubt that the power of God to perform was equal to his promise. MIRROR

LUKE 1:31-38 For behold, you will be mystically captured in your womb and conceive and bear a son. And you shall name him Jesus!

32 The eminence of his stature will be magnificent. He will be known as the son of the Most High. And the Lord God will 1return to him what already belongs to him, the throne of his father David!

33 And he will reign as king over the house of Jacob and his kingdom will be without any boundaries.

34 And Mary asked the Messenger, “So how can this be possible while I am still a virgin?”

35 And he said to her, “Holy Spirit will overwhelm you – hovering over you in the power of the Most High. Therefore, this holy begotten one will be called, son of God!

36 Oh, and let me tell you the good news about your aunt Elizabeth! She, who everyone called barren, is now already six months pregnant with a son, in her old age!”

37 Then Gabriel quotes, “Every word of God is equal to God’s power and purpose to perform that word!”

38 Then Mary responded, “See, I am the handmaid of the Lord; I wish for it be with me exactly according to this conversation!” And with that, the messenger left. MIRROR

1 Sam 17:41 As the Philistine paced back and forth, his shield bearer in front of him, he noticed David.

42 He took one look down on him and sneered — a mere youngster, apple-cheeked and peach-fuzzed.

43 The Philistine ridiculed David. “Am I a dog that you come after me with a stick?” And he cursed him by his gods.

44 “Come on,” said the Philistine. “I’ll make roadkill of you for the buzzards. I’ll turn you into a tasty morsel for the field mice.”

45 David answered, “You come at me with sword and spear and battle-ax. I come at you in the name of God-of-the-Angel-Armies, the God of Israel’s troops, whom you curse and mock.

46 This very day God is handing you over to me. I’m about to kill you, cut off your head, and serve up your body and the bodies of your Philistine buddies to the crows and coyotes. The whole earth will know that there’s an extraordinary God in Israel.

47 And everyone gathered here will learn that God doesn’t save by means of sword or spear. The battle belongs to God — he’s handing you to us on a platter!”  MSG

1 COR 15:57 Your victory is not a maybe; because of the magnanimous doing of Jesus Christ, it is a given!

58 For this reason you can afford to be absolutely settled and rock-solid in faith’s persuasion and always ready to go beyond where you would have gone before. Your doing now is inspired by your knowing that you are in him. If his resurrection is yours then his victory over sin and death is equally yours. MIRROR
