It is one thing to say, “I have God’s favor”, but it’s quite a different thing when you actually believe that you are favored by God. When you know God’s favor is upon you and in you, you have no fear about facing your future. Favor means that God steps into our lives and situations to a create a wonderful and sizable difference in our future. Favor is the highway that connects you to your destiny. Favor means God demonstrates his delight in you. Favor is a reward. Jesus restored the favor of God to all mankind through his sacrifice. Another definition of favor is grace. For this reason, the Lord is waiting to show His favor to you so He can show you his marvelous love. He wants to be gracious to you He sits on the throne ready to show us mercy He is the Lord of Justice.

Ps 89:17 You are their strength. What glory! Our power is based on your favor! TLB

Gen 39:4 So Joseph pleased [Potiphar] and found favor in his sight, and he served him. And [his master] made him supervisor over his house and he put all that he had in his charge. 

5 From the time that he made him supervisor in his house and over all that he had, the Lord blessed the Egyptian’s house for Joseph’s sake; and the Lord’s blessing was on all that he had in the house and in the field. 

6 And [Potiphar] left all that he had in Joseph’s charge and paid no attention to anything he had except the food he ate. Now Joseph was an attractive person and fine-looking.  AMP

Gen 39:4 He became very fond of Joseph and made him his personal aide. He put him in charge of all his personal affairs, turning everything over to him.

5 From that moment on, God blessed the home of the Egyptian — all because of Joseph. The blessing of God spread over everything he owned, at home and in the fields,

6 and all Potiphar had to concern himself with was eating three meals a day. Joseph was a strikingly handsome man. MSG

Gen 41:39 So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “You’re the man for us. God has given you the inside story — no one is as qualified as you in experience and wisdom.

40 From now on, you’re in charge of my affairs; all my people will report to you. Only as king will I be over you.”

41 So Pharaoh commissioned Joseph: “I’m putting you in charge of the entire country of Egypt.”

42 Then Pharaoh removed his signet ring from his finger and slipped it on Joseph’s hand. He outfitted him in robes of the best linen and put a gold chain around his neck.  MSG

Heb 4:16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].  AMP

1 Peter 4:10 As each of you has received a gift (a particular spiritual talent, a gracious divine endowment), employ it for one another as [befits] good trustees of God’s many-sided grace [faithful stewards of the extremely diverse powers and gifts granted to Christians by unmerited favor]. AMP
