Zech 4:6 Then he said to me, This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol], says the Lord of hosts. AMP

Psalms 19:1 God’s splendor is a tale that is told, written in the stars. Space itself speaks his story through the marvels of the heavens. His truth is on tour in the starry vault of the sky, showing his skill in creation’s craftsmanship.

2 Each day gushes out its message to the next, night by night whispering its knowledge to all—

3 without a sound, without a word, without a voice being heard,

4 yet all the world can hear its echo. Everywhere its message goes out. What a heavenly home God has set for the sun, shining in the superdome of the sky! TPT

James 1:16 Do not be misled, my beloved brethren.

17 Every good gift and every perfect (free, large, full) gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of all [that gives] light, in [the shining of] Whom there can be no variation [rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [as in an eclipse]. AMP

JAMES 1:16 My dear friends, do not go wandering off into deception.

17 The Father’s resolve stands in total contrast to the perverted passions of sin, claiming it’s illegitimate parenthood of mankind. MIRROR

Gen 1:3 And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.

4 And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness. AMP

Luke 9:28 Now about eight days after these teachings, Jesus took with Him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

29 And as He was praying, the appearance of His countenance became altered (different), and His raiment became dazzling white [flashing with the brilliance of lightning].

30 And behold, two men were conversing with Him — Moses and Elijah,

31 Who appeared in splendor and majesty and brightness and were speaking of His exit [from life], which He was about to bring to realization at Jerusalem.

32 Now Peter and those with him were weighed down with sleep, but when they fully awoke, they saw His glory (splendor and majesty and brightness) and the two men who stood with Him.  AMP

▼▼▼

Luke 9:28 The following 1week, this conversation was endorsed when Jesus took Peter, John and Jacob [James] with him and ascended the mountain to pray.

29 And while he was praying his appearance was spectacularly changed by the radiance of God’s splendor bursting through his skin; his face and even his clothes became dazzling white like light.

30 Look! Both Moses and Elijah were there with him and talking to him.

31 Their appearance was equally glorious, and their conversation focussed on his departing and the fulfilling of everything the law and the prophets pointed to, which was about to take place in Jerusalem.

32 Then, Peter and company, weighed down with the enormity of the event and struggling to keep their eyes open, were suddenly wide awake to witness this glorious moment! They saw Jesus and the two men engulfed in splendor.  Mirror

Gen 5:24 And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him]. AMP

2 Kings 2:11 As they still went on and talked, behold, a chariot of fire and horses of fire parted the two of them, and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

12 And Elisha saw it and he cried, My father, my father! The chariot of Israel and its horsemen! And he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.  AMP

Matt 5:14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.

15 Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven. AMP

▼▼▼

Matt 5:14 “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill.

15 If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand.

16 Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand — shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven. MSG

Matt 25:14 For it is like a man who was about to take a long journey, and he called his servants together and entrusted them with his property.

15 To one he gave five talents [probably about $5,000], to another two, to another one — to each in proportion to his own personal ability. Then he departed and left the country.

16 He who had received the five talents went at once and traded with them, and he gained five talents more.  AMP

Matt 25:14 “It’s also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his servants together and delegated responsibilities.

15 To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left.

16 Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master’s investment. MSG

John 1:10 Although no one took any notice of him, he was no stranger to the world; he always was there and is himself the author of all things.

11 It was not as though he arrived on a foreign planet; he came to his own, yet his own did not 1recognize him.

12 Everyone who realizes their association in him, convinced that he is their original life and that his name defines them, God gives the assurance that they are indeed his offspring, begotten of him; he sanctions the legitimacy of their sonship.

13 These are the ones who discover their genesis in God, beyond their natural conception! This is not about our blood lineage or whether we were a wanted- or unwanted-child; this is about our God-begotteness. We are his dream come true and not the invention of our parents. You are indeed the greatest idea that God has ever had!  Mirror
