GOOD FRIDAY 4-7-23

GOOD FRIDAY  4-7-23  VIDEO GOOD FRIDAY SKIT GUYS 2

Oh, the blood of Jesus. Blood is essential to life. Blood circulates throughout our bodies and delivers essential substances: like oxygen and nutrients to the bodies cells. It helps remove waste from the cells. There are 0.2 milligrams of gold in our blood to maintain our joints. Blood has DNA. White blood cells contain genetic material. All blood has DNA in it. Blood changes and maintains our lives and our bodies.

1 John 1:7  But if we [really] are living and walking in the Light, as He [Himself] is in the Light, we have [true, unbroken] fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses (removes) us from all sin and guilt [keeps us cleansed from sin in all its forms and manifestations].  AMP

1 JN 1:7  We are invited to explore the dimensions of the same light that engulfs God; when we see the light in his light, fellowship ignites! In this light, we understand how the blood of Jesus Christ is the removal of every distortion and stain of sin!

HEB 10:19 And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation.

20 For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him! TPT

HEB 10:19 So, fellow family, what the blood of Jesus communicates, seals our immediate access into this ultimate place of sacred encounter, with unashamed confidence.

20 This is the official inauguration of a brand new way of life. The torn flesh of Jesus opened the veil for us. Our own flesh can no longer be a valid excuse to interrupt the expression of the life of our design from within our innermost shrine. MIR

Heb 9:22 [In fact] under the Law almost everything is purified by means of blood, and without the shedding of blood there is neither release from sin and its guilt nor the remission of the due and merited punishment for sins.

23 By such means, therefore, it was necessary for the [earthly] copies of the heavenly things to be purified, but the actual heavenly things themselves [required far] better and nobler sacrifices than these.

24 For Christ (the Messiah) has not entered into a sanctuary made with [human] hands, only a copy and pattern and type of the true one, but [He has entered] into heaven itself, now to appear in the [very] presence of God on our behalf.

25 Nor did He [enter into the heavenly sanctuary to] offer Himself regularly again and again, as the high priest enters the [Holy of] Holies every year with blood not his own. foundation of the world. But as it now is, He has once for all at the consummation and close of the ages appeared to put away and abolish sin by His sacrifice [of Himself].    AMP

HEB 9:22 Thus, according to the law, all purging was by means of blood; forgiveness was specifically associated with the shedding of blood.

23 If the methods of the law were only a shadow prefiguring the heavenly reality, the fulfillment of these examples surely requires a stronger and more efficacious sacrifice.

24 In Christ we have so much more than a type, reflected in the tabernacle of holy places which was set up by human hands. He entered into the heavenly sphere itself, where he personally mirror-exhibits us face to face with God.

25 Neither was it necessary for him to ever repeat his sacrifice. The High Priests under the old shadow system stood proxy with substitute, animal sacrifices that had to be offered every year.

26 But Jesus did not have to suffer again and again since the fall of the world; the single sacrifice of himself, in the fulfillment of history, now reveals how he has brought sin to nought. He was made manifest once and for all, at the conclusion of the age, in order to do away with sin.  MIRROR

Heb 9:12 He also bypassed the sacrifices consisting of goat and calf blood, instead using his own blood as the price to set us free once and for all.

13 If that animal blood and the other rituals of purification were effective in cleaning up certain matters of our religion and behavior,

14 think how much more the blood of Christ cleans up our whole lives, inside and out.

15 Through the Spirit, Christ offered himself as an unblemished sacrifice, freeing us from all those dead-end efforts to make ourselves respectable, so that we can live all out for God.   MSG

HEB 9:12 As High Priest, his permission to enter the Holy Place was not secured by the blood of beasts. By his own blood he obtained access on behalf of the human race. Only one act was needed for him to enter the most sacred place of grace and there to institute a ransom of perpetual consequence.

13 The blood of beasts and the ashes of the burnt sacrifice of a heifer could only achieve a very temporal and surface cleansing by being sprinkled on the guilty.

14 How much more effective was the blood of Christ, when he presented his own flawless life through the eternal Spirit before God, in order to purge your conscience from its frustration under the cul-de-sac rituals of the law. There is no comparison between a guilt and duty-driven, dead religious system, and the vibrancy of living your life free from a sin-consciousness! This is what the new testament priesthood is all about!

15 As fully representing mankind, Jesus’s death brought an end to the old, and introduced the New Testament. He thus redeemed us from the transgressions recorded under the first Covenant and identified us as heirs; qualifying us to participate in the full inheritance of all that he obtained on our behalf.  MIRROR

Rom 3:25 Whom God put forward [before the eyes of all] as a mercy seat and propitiation by His blood [the cleansing and life-giving sacrifice of atonement and reconciliation, to be received] through faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in His divine forbearance He had passed over and ignored former sins without punishment. AMP  ▼▼▼

Romans 3:25 Jesus’ God-given destiny was to be the sacrifice to take away sins, and now he is our mercy seat because of his death on the cross. We come to him for mercy, for God has made a provision for us to be forgiven by faith in the sacred blood of Jesus. This is the perfect demonstration of God’s justice, because until now, he had been so patient—holding back his justice out of his tolerance for us. So he covered over the sins of those who lived prior to Jesus’ sacrifice. TPT

Isa 52:14 [For many the Servant of God became an object of horror; many were astonished at Him.] His face and His whole appearance were marred more than any man’s, and His form beyond that of the sons of men — but just as many were astonished at Him,

15 So shall He startle and sprinkle many nations, and kings shall shut their mouths because of Him; for that which has not been told them shall they see, and that which they have not heard shall they consider and understand.  AMP

Or “sprinkle many nations” or “Many nations will marvel at him”. The words startle and sprinkle share a homonymic root. The idea is that Jesus would sprinkle to cleanse many with his redeeming blood and also that he would startle the nations with his resurrection power and endless life.

HEB 12:24 Jesus is the spokesman and arbitrator of the New Testament order. His blood signature sanctions mankind’s innocence. This is a complete new language that communicates better things, in that it is the very substance of what was spoken in the shadow-type message of the blood sacrifice that Abel brought.   MIRROR

▼▼▼

HEB 12:24 And we have come to Jesus who established a new covenant with his blood sprinkled upon the mercy seat; blood that continues to speak from heaven, “forgiveness,” a better message than Abel’s blood that cries from the earth, “justice.” TPT

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God who brought us peace by raising from the dead our Lord Jesus Christ so that he would be the Great Shepherd of his flock; and by the power of the blood of the eternal covenant  TPT

Ephesians 2:13 Yet look at you now! Everything is new! Although you were once distant and far away from God, now you have been brought delightfully close to him through the sacred blood of Jesus—you have actually been united to Christ!  TPT    ▼▼▼

EPH 2:13 But now, wow! Everything has changed; you have discovered yourselves to be located in Christ. What once seemed so distant is now so near; his blood reveals your redeemed innocence and authentic genesis.  MIRROR

Col 1:20 Not only that, but all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe — people and things, animals and atoms — get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all because of his death, his blood that poured down from the Cross. MSG

Eph 1:7 Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people — free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!

8 He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, MSG

1 John 2:2 When he served as a sacrifice for our sins, he solved the sin problem for good — not only ours, but the whole world’s.  MSG

1 PET 1:18 It is clear to see that you were ransomed from the futile, fallen mindset that you inherited from your fathers. This was not concluded by the currency of your own labor, represented by the fluctuating values of gold and silver, and the economy of your religious efforts;

19 but you were redeemed with the priceless blood of Christ. He is the ultimate sacrifice; spotless and without blemish. Jesus completes the prophetic picture! MIRROR  ▼▼▼

1 PET 1:18 For you know that your lives were ransomed once and for all from the empty and futile way of life handed down from generation to generation. It was not a ransom payment of silver and gold, which eventually perishes,

19 but the precious blood of Christ—who like a spotless, unblemished lamb was sacrificed for us. TPT

Heb 10:10  God’s way — by which we are made fit for God by the once-for-all sacrifice of Jesus.

11 Every priest goes to work at the altar each day, offers the same old sacrifices year in, year out, and never makes a dent in the sin problem.

12 As a priest, Christ made a single sacrifice for sins, and that was it! Then he sat down right beside God  MSG

Rev 1:5 And from Jesus Christ the faithful and trustworthy Witness, the Firstborn of the dead [first to be brought back to life] and the Prince (Ruler) of the kings of the earth. To Him Who ever loves us and has once [for all] loosed and freed us from our sins by His own blood,

6 And formed us into a kingdom (a royal race), priests to His God and Father — to Him be the glory and the power and the majesty and the dominion throughout the ages and forever and ever. Amen (so be it).  AMP

Rev 5:9 And they sang a new song: Worthy! Take the scroll, open its seals. Slain! Paying in blood, you bought men and women, Bought them back from all over the earth, Bought them back for God.

10 Then you made them a Kingdom, Priests for our God, Priest-kings to rule over the earth. MSG

REV 7:14 I said, “No Mister, I don’t; would you please explain this to me?” He answered, “This is co-raised mankind, brought out of their extreme claustrophobic spaces that they were trapped in. They have plunged their stained priestly garments in the blood of the Lamb and they were made white.”

15 Standing free and forgiven in their redeemed innocence and union, face to face before the throne of God, they are fully engaged, day and night in their priestly service of worship in the inner sanctuary. The One seated upon the throne is their tabernacle; he shelters them with his presence.

16 Here there is no memory of hunger or thirst nor a scorching sun to plague them!

17 For the little Lamb who occupies the center stage of the throne will shepherd them and lead them beside living springs of water and God shall blot out every hurtful memory of the tears they have cried!  MIRROR

Rom 5:9  Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way.

10 If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we’re at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! MSG

Col 2:14-16. His body nailed to the cross hung there as the document of mankind‘s guilt; in dying our death he canceled the detailed handwritten record which testified against us. Every stain on our conscience, reminding of the sense of failure and guilt was fully blotted out.

15. In him dying mankind‘s death, he diffused every possible claim of accusation against the human race and thus made a public spectacle of every rule and authority in Gods brilliant triumph, demonstrated in him. The voice of the cross will never be silenced!

16.  Do not let anyone therefore bring a restriction on your freedom by reviving religious rules and regulations pertaining to eating and drinking, all Jewish festivals, new moons, and Sabbath have come to an end in Christ!  Mirror

1 Cor 10:16 The cup of blessing [of wine at the Lord’s Supper] upon which we ask [God’s] blessing, does it not mean [that in drinking it] we participate in and share a fellowship (a communion) in the blood of Christ (the Messiah)? The bread which we break, does it not mean [that in eating it] we participate in and share a fellowship (a communion) in the body of Christ?  AMP

▼▼▼

1 Corinthians 10:16 For when we pray for the blessing of the communion cup, isn’t this our co-participation with the blood of Jesus? And the bread that we distribute, isn’t this the bread of our co-participation with the body of Christ? TPT

Luke 22:20 And in like manner, He took the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament or covenant [ratified] in My blood, which is shed (poured out) for you.  AMP

Matt 26:28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which [ratifies the agreement and] is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.  AMP
