To be anxious is to be free of extreme uneasiness about what’s to come, to be worried, fearful of something that might happen.The enemy works to try to keep us in stress and anxiety. This keeps us from being creative, from moving forward without fear.
If you are in Christ, you are risk-free from not succeeding in your destiny. Meaning your future has already been written in the book of life.
Ps 139:23 Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. NIV
1 Peter 3:4 But let it be the inward adorning and beauty of the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible and unfading charm of a gentle and peaceful spirit, which [is not anxious or wrought up, but] is very precious in the sight of God. AMP
2 PET 1:3 Let us celebrate the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ with articulate acclaim. According to his matchless mercy and tender compassions, he birthed us again when Jesus was raised from the dead. Phil 4:6 Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns.
7 Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life.
8 Summing it all up, friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious — the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse.
9 Put into practice what you learned from me, what you heard and saw and realized. Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies. MSG
