Authority is the power, or ability to do something, given by, conferred upon, or derive from a higher authority. It is the manifestation of God’s grace upon His people. It is supernatural ability. Authority, started in the beginning. Jesus has complete authority and demonstrated it here on earth. Jesus passes his authority to the disciples and then to us. Jesus is the Word made flesh and now, so are we
Gen 1:26 Then God said: “Let us make a man and a woman in our image to be like us. Let them reign over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the livestock, over the creatures that creep along the ground,’ and over the wild animals.”
27 So God created man and woman and shaped them with his image inside them. In his own beautiful image, he created his masterpiece. Yes, male and female he created them. TPT

Gen 1:26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.
27 So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. AMP
Prov 29:2 When the [uncompromisingly] righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh. AMP

Matt 9:5 Which do you think is simpler: to say, ‘I forgive your sins,’ or, ‘Get up and walk’?
6 Well, just so it’s clear that I’m the Son of Man and authorized to do either, or both. ” At this he turned to the paraplegic and said, “Get up. Take your bed and go home.”

8 The crowd was awestruck, amazed and pleased that God had authorized Jesus to work among them this way. MSG
Matt 21:23 Then he was back in the Temple, teaching. The high priests and leaders of the people came up and demanded, “Show us your credentials. Who authorized you to teach here?”
24 Jesus responded, “First let me ask you a question. You answer my question and I’ll answer yours.
25 About the baptism of John — who authorized it: heaven or humans?” They were on the spot and knew it. They pulled back into a huddle and whispered, “If we say ‘heaven,’ he’ll ask us why we didn’t believe him;
26 if we say ‘humans,’ we’re up against it with the people because they all hold John up as a prophet.” MSG
Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All authority of the universe has been given to me.
19Now wherever you go, make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
20And teach them to faithfully follow all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age.” TPT

Matt 28:18 Jesus, undeterred, went right ahead and gave his charge: “God authorized and commanded me to commission you:
19 Go out and train everyone you meet, far and near, in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threefold name: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
20 Then instruct them in the practice of all I have commanded you. I’ll be with you as you do this, day after day after day, right up to the end of the age.” MSG
Mark 1:27 The crowd was awestruck and kept saying among themselves, “What is this new teaching that comes with such authority? With merely a word he commands demons to come out and they obey him!” TPT
Mark 6:3 But in the next breath they were cutting him down: “He’s just a carpenter — Mary’s boy. We’ve known him since he was a kid. We know his brothers, James, Justus, Jude, and Simon, and his sisters. Who does he think he is?” They tripped over what little they knew about him and fell, sprawling. And they never got any further. LUKE 10:19 See, I have given you authority to trample upon serpents and scorpions and every powerful symbolic disguize of the enemy. Nothing shall by any means nullify your authentic identity! Your likeness is secured in me!

Eph 1:21 in charge of running the universe, everything from galaxies to governments, no name and no power exempt from his rule. And not just for the time being, but forever.
22 He is in charge of it all, has the final word on everything. At the center of all this, Christ rules the church.

Colossians 1:18 The ekklesia [church] is the visible expression [body] of which Jesus is the head. He is the principle rank of authority who leads the triumphant procession of our new birth out of the region of the dead. His pre-eminent rank is beyond threat. Mirror
Col 2:10 And you are in Him, made full and having come to fullness of life [in Christ you too are filled with the Godhead — Father, Son and Holy Spirit — and reach full spiritual stature]. And He is the Head of all rule and authority [of every angelic principality and power]. AMP
Rev 2:26 “Here’s the reward I have for every conqueror, everyone who keeps at it, refusing to give up: You’ll rule the nations,
27 your Shepherd-King rule as firm as an iron staff, their resistance fragile as clay pots. This was the gift my Father gave me; I pass it along to you —

REV 2:26 Seeing my victory as your victory makes you the overcomer. By embracing the completeness of my works as your treasure, you realize my authority in you to possess the nations.
27 You will shepherd the nations with a royal scepter and shatter their ‘alienated mindsets’ like a potter’s vessel of clay.
