TIMELESS by Mary Dorian 9-8-23

Timeless. When the Father talks about Himself, He talks about that He is eternal, always was, always will be. This is important to Him, as it is mentioned many times in the Word. He is timeless, lasting forever. Never showing the effects of aging. Not affected by the passing of time. Eternal lives outside of time. Not confined by a time table.

Dan 7:9 I kept looking until thrones were placed [for the assessors with the Judge], and the Ancient of Days [God, the eternal Father] took His seat, Whose garment was white as snow and the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was like the fiery flame; its wheels were burning fire.

10 A stream of fire came forth from before Him; a thousand thousands ministered to Him and ten thousand times ten thousand rose up and stood before Him; the Judge was seated [the court was in session] and the books were opened.  AMP

Daniel 7:9-10  As I looked on, I observed a heavenly courtroom. Various thrones were being arranged until the Ancient of Days took his seat. His clothing was as white as snow, and his hair was white like perfectly clean wool. His throne was a tempest of fiery flames,” set upon wheels of blazing fire. TPT

Dan 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and behold, on the clouds of the heavens came One like a Son of man, and He came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before Him.

14 And there was given Him [the Messiah] dominion and glory and kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion which shall not pass away, and His kingdom is one which shall not be destroyed.  AMP

Dan 7:13-14 Then, as I was looking on in my night visions, suddenly I saw one like a son of man coming in the midst of the clouds of heaven. He was ushered into the presence of the Ancient of Days and presented before him. Then the Ancient of Days conferred upon him dominion, glory, and kingship. People of every nation and language group worshiped him. His dominion is everlasting and will never pass away, and his kingdom will never be destroyed.  TPT

Dan 7:18 But eventually the holy people of the High God will be given the kingdom and have it ever after — yes, forever and ever.’   MSG

Gen 1:5 God called the light  “Day,” and the darkness “Night.” And so, evening gave way to morning the first day. TPT

Gen 1:14-16  And God said: “Let there be bright lights to shine in space to bathe the earth with their light. Let them serve as signs to separate the day from night, and signify the days, seasons, and years.” And so, it happened. *God made two great lights: the brighter light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night. He also spread the tapestry of shining stars TPT

Gen 1:14 God spoke: “Lights! Come out! Shine in Heaven’s sky! Separate Day from Night. Mark seasons and days and years,

15 Lights in Heaven’s sky to give light to Earth.” And there it was.

16 God made two big lights, the larger to take charge of Day, The smaller to be in charge of Night; and he made the stars. MSG

Psalms 90:2 Long before you gave birth to the earth and before the mountains were born, you have been from everlasting to everlasting, the one and only true God.  TPT

Ps 90:2  Before the mountains were brought forth or ever You had formed and given birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting You are God.

Psalms 90:4 One thousand years pass before your eyes like yesterday that quickly faded away, like a night’s sleep soon forgotten.  TPT

Gen. 2:7 “Yahweh-God scooped up a lump of soil, sculpted a man, and blew into his nostrils the breath of life.” The man came alive a living soul! TPT

Gen 2:7 Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.  AMP

Gen 2:15 And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and guard and keep it.

16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;

17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and blessing and calamity you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.  AMP

1 Cor 15:42 So also with the resurrection from the dead, the body that was sown into the earth decays, but the risen person is immortal.

43 It is sown in sadness but raised in honor; it is sown in frailty but raised in power.

44 It is sown as a physical body and raised as a spiritual body. The fact that there is a physical body confirms that there is also a spiritual body.

45 It is recorded in Scripture how the first Adam became a living soul; the last Adam is a life radiating spirit.

46 Physical life is the platform for spiritual life.

47 Human life was reduced to slavery and the soul-ruled earthly realm through Adam’s fall but is now awakened to lordship in the heavenly realm of spiritual realities through the knowledge of our co-resurrection with Christ.

48 The reduced state of the individual left its mark on mankind as being earthly; now the redeemed state of mankind confirms their origin in God and marks their new heavenly life.

49 Just as we were once defined by the flesh [our earthly image] we are now defined by our spirit [our heavenly] image.

50 Flesh and blood has a sell-by date; the bodies you live in now will not last forever.

51 Ponder this mystery, I want to show you something that you have never seen before: everyone will be awakened out of sleep; we will all experience exactly the same change.

52 This will happen in an instant, in a blink of the eye: the final trumpet will sound, then the dead shall be awoken out of their sleep and we, who are still alive, shall be instantly changed into a different kind of body.

53 For this corruptible must be clothed with incorruption and this mortal must be clothed with immortality.

54 What was spoken in Isaiah 25:8 is finally realized even in our physical death: “Death is swallowed up in victory!”

55 Oh death where is your sting? Oh grave, where is your victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; the strength of sin is the law. (It was sin that made death so frightening and law-code guilt that gave sin its leverage. — The Message.)

57 Your victory is not a maybe; because of the magnanimous doing of Jesus Christ, it is a given!

58 For this reason you can afford to be absolutely settled and rock-solid in faith’s persuasion and always ready to go beyond where you would have gone before. Your doing now is inspired by your knowing that you are in him. If his resurrection is yours then his victory over sin and death is equally yours. MIRROR

1 Cor 15:45 We follow this sequence in Scripture: The First Adam received life, the Last Adam is a life-giving Spirit.

46 Physical life comes first, then spiritual —

47 a firm base shaped from the earth, a final completion coming out of heaven.

48 The First Man was made out of earth, and people since then are earthy; the Second Man was made out of heaven, and people now can be heavenly.

49 In the same way that we’ve worked from our earthy origins, let’s embrace our heavenly ends.  MSG

2 COR 15:17 Now, in the light of your co-inclusion in his death and resurrection, whoever you thought you were before, in Christ you are a brand new person! The old ways of seeing yourself and everyone else are over. Acquaint yourself with the new!    MIRROR

Gal 6:15 Can’t you see the central issue in all this? It is not what you and I do — submit to circumcision, reject circumcision. It is what God is doing, and he is creating something totally new, a free life!

16 All who walk by this standard are the true Israel of God — his chosen people. Peace and mercy on them!  MSG

▼▼▼

Galatians 6:15 Whether a man is circumcised or uncircumcised is meaningless to me. What really matters is the transforming power of this new creation life.

16And all those who live in agreement with this standard will have true peace and God’s delight, for they are the Israel of God.  TPT

JOHN 3:15 In the same prophetic pattern, I will be lifted up for all to see and be equally persuaded in the echo of the life of the ages now redeemed within them!

16 The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection! And he is not about to abandon his creation – the gift of his Son is for mankind to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth – begotten not of flesh but of the Father!  In this persuasion the life of the ages echoes within the individual and announces that the days of regret and sense of lost-ness are over!   MIRROR

John 3:15  and everyone who looks up to him, trusting and expectant, will gain a real life, eternal life.

16 “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.   MSG

John 5:24 I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, the person whose ears are open to My words [who listens to My message] and believes and trusts in and clings to and relies on Him Who sent Me has (possesses now) eternal life. And he does not come into judgment [does not incur sentence of judgment, will not come under condemnation], but he has already passed over out of death into life.  AMP

John 5:24  “It’s urgent that you listen carefully to this: Anyone here who believes what I am saying right now and aligns himself with the Father, who has in fact put me in charge, has at this very moment the real, lasting life and is no longer condemned to be an outsider. This person has taken a giant step from the world of the dead to the world of the living.   MSG

John 6:47 “I’m telling you the most solemn and sober truth now: Whoever believes in me has real life, eternal life.

48 I am the Bread of Life.

49 Your ancestors ate the manna bread in the desert and died.

50 But now here is Bread that truly comes down out of heaven. Anyone eating this Bread will not die, ever.

51 I am the Bread — living Bread! — who came down out of heaven. Anyone who eats this Bread will live — and forever! The Bread that I present to the world so that it can eat and live is myself, this flesh-and-blood self.”   MSG

John 10:28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never lose it or perish throughout the ages. [To all eternity they shall never by any means be destroyed.] And no one is able to snatch them out of My hand.   AMP

JOHN 10:28 And I give them the life of the ages and they shall never be lost neither shall anyone wrestle them out of my hand.  MIRROR

John 17:3 And this is the real and eternal life: That they know you, The one and only true God, And Jesus Christ, whom you sent.

4 I glorified you on earth By completing down to the last detail What you assigned me to do.

5 And now, Father, glorify me with your very own splendor, The very splendor I had in your presence Before there was a world.  MSG

Rom 6:23 Work hard for sin your whole life and your pension is death. But God’s gift is real life, eternal life, delivered by Jesus, our Master. MSG

GAL 6:8 The flesh cannot compete with the spirit; just like with Adam, the fruit of the do it yourself tree still produces death, while faith produces the spirit fruit of the life of the ages, the God-kind of life.   MIRROR

1 Tim 6:12 Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life, the life you were called to, the life you so fervently embraced in the presence of so many witnesses. MSG

Rom 5:13 That sin disturbed relations with God in everything and everyone, but the extent of the disturbance was not clear until God spelled it out in detail to Moses. So death, this huge abyss separating us from God, dominated the landscape from Adam to Moses.

14 Even those who didn’t sin precisely as Adam did by disobeying a specific command of God still had to experience this termination of life, this separation from God. But Adam, who got us into this, also points ahead to the One who will get us out of it.

15 Yet the rescuing gift is not exactly parallel to the death-dealing sin. If one man’s sin put crowds of people at the dead-end abyss of separation from God, just think what God’s gift poured through one man, Jesus Christ, will do!

16 There’s no comparison between that death-dealing sin and this generous, life-giving gift. The verdict on that one sin was the death sentence; the verdict on the many sins that followed was this wonderful life sentence.

17 If death got the upper hand through one man’s wrongdoing, can you imagine the breathtaking recovery life makes, sovereign life, in those who grasp with both hands this wildly extravagant life-gift, this grand setting-everything-right, that the one man Jesus Christ provides?   MSG

1 COR 15:55 Oh death where is your sting? Oh grave, where is your victory?

56 The sting of death is sin; the strength of sin is the law.

MIRROR
