WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY 9-14-23

WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY 9-15-23 VIDEO

Your testimony demonstrates the power of God. Your testimony shows people what God has done for you. That He is prepared to do for anyone who calls upon Him. We do not glorify our struggles, but rather we use our testimony to glorify God. So what is your testimony? What did god do for you in the midst of your trials, confusion, sickness, and rejections. That’s your testimony.

1 John 5:9  If we accept [as we do] the testimony of men [if we are willing to take human authority], the testimony of God is greater (of stronger authority), for this is the testimony of God, even the witness which He has borne regarding His Son.

10 He who believes in the Son of God [who adheres to, trusts in, and relies on Him] has the testimony [possesses this divine attestation] within himself. He who does not believe God [in this way] has made Him out to be and represented Him as a liar, because he has not believed (put his faith in, adhered to, and relied on) the evidence (the testimony) that God has borne regarding His Son.

11 And this is that testimony (that evidence): God gave us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  AMP

1 John 5:9 If we accept the testimony of men, how much more should we accept the more authoritative testimony of God that he has testified concerning his Son?

10Those who believe in the Son of God have the living testimony in their hearts. Those who don’t believe have made God out to be a liar by not believing the testimony God has confirmed about his Son.

11This is the true testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life has its source in his Son.  TPT

Luke 9:35 Then there was a voice out of the cloud: “This is my Son, the Chosen! Listen to him.”

36 When the sound of the voice died away, they saw Jesus there alone. They were speechless. And they continued speechless, said not one thing to anyone during those days of what they had seen   MSG

Matt 24:14 And this good news of the kingdom (the Gospel) will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then will come the end. AMP

Matthew 24:14 “Yet through it all, the good news of heaven’s kingdom will be proclaimed all over the world, providing every nation with a demonstration of the reality of God. And after that the end of this age will arrive.”  TPT

Luke 21:13  And because you follow me, you will be on trial before kings and governmental leaders as an opportunity to testify to them in my name.

14-15 Yet determine in your hearts not to prepare for your own defense. Simply speak with the words of wisdom that I will give you that moment, and none of your persecutors will be able to withstand the grace and wisdom that comes from your mouths. TPT

REV 19:10 I was so overwhelmed that I fell down at his feet to worship him; he immediately asked me to see him as a fellow bond-servant and a fellow brother, jointly echoing the testimony of Jesus! Worship God, he said, the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy! This wedding is the entire culmination of the prophetic word!  MIRROR

Luke 4:18 God’s Spirit is on me; he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor, Sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, To set the burdened and battered free,

19 to announce, “This is God’s year to act!”

20 He rolled up the scroll, handed it back to the assistant, and sat down. Every eye in the place was on him, intent.

21 Then he started in, “You’ve just heard Scripture make history. It came true just now in this place.”   MSG

John 5:39 You search and investigate and pore over the Scriptures diligently, because you suppose and trust that you have eternal life through them. And these [very Scriptures] testify about Me!

40 And still you are not willing [but refuse] to come to Me, so that you might have life.

41 I receive not glory from men [I crave no human honor, I look for no mortal fame],

JOHN 5:36 My testimony exceeds John’s since the work which my Father has ordained me to finish gives ultimate context to my mission.

37 The Father himself who has sent me continues to bear witness to me; yet you are not familiar with his voice and did not discern his prophetic utterance throughout ancient times and therefore you could not recognize his image nor do you realize his appearance at this present time [in the incarnate word.] MIRROR

John 5:36 But I have as My witness something greater (weightier, higher, better) than that of John; for the works that the Father has appointed Me to accomplish and finish, the very same works that I am now doing, are a witness and proof that the Father has sent Me.

37 And the Father Who sent Me has Himself testified concerning Me. Not one of you has ever given ear to His voice or seen His form (His face — what He is like). [You have always been deaf to His voice and blind to the vision of Him.] AMP

JOHN 18:33 Than Pilate went back into the court room and summoned Jesus to him and asked him, “Are you the king of the Jews?”

34 Jesus responded, “Are these your own thoughts or did others suggest this about me?”

35 Pilate replied, “Am I a Jew, why would I bother to speculate about you? Your own people and priests handed you over to me. What have you done to make them do this?

36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom has nothing in common with the political or religious systems of this world; it does not originate out of their structures. If it did my subordinates would fight for me and resist my handover to the Jews.”

37 Pilate then said, “So you are a king?” Jesus replied, “You say that I am a king. My destiny was to be born in the flesh and for this purpose have I come into the world to bear testimony to the truth. Everyone who recognizes their true origin, hears my voice.”   MIRROR

2 Cor 1:12 It is a reason for pride and exultation to which our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world [generally] and especially toward you, with devout and pure motives and godly sincerity, not in fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God (the unmerited favor and merciful kindness by which God, exerting His holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, and keeps, strengthens, and increases them in Christian virtues).

13 For we write you nothing else but simply what you can read and understand [there is no double meaning to what we say], and I hope that you will become thoroughly acquainted [with divine things] and know and understand [them] accurately and well to the end,  AMP

1 Cor 2:1 You’ll remember, friends, that when I first came to you to let you in on God’s master stroke, I didn’t try to impress you with polished speeches and the latest philosophy.

2 I deliberately kept it plain and simple: first Jesus and who he is; then Jesus and what he did — Jesus crucified. MSG

1 Corinthians 2:1 My brothers and sisters, when I first came to proclaim to you the secrets of God, I refused to come as an expert, trying to impress you with my eloquent speech and lofty wisdom.

2For while I was with you I was determined to be consumed with one topic—Jesus, the crucified Messiah.  TPT

Acts 22:11 And so we entered Damascus, but nothing like the entrance I had planned — I was blind as a bat and my companions had to lead me in by the hand.

12 “And that’s when I met Ananias, a man with a sterling reputation in observing our laws — the Jewish community in Damascus is unanimous on that score.

13 He came and put his arm on my shoulder. ‘Look up,’ he said. I looked, and found myself looking right into his eyes — I could see again!

14 “Then he said, ‘The God of our ancestors has handpicked you to be briefed on his plan of action. You’ve actually seen the Righteous Innocent and heard him speak.

15 You are to be a key witness to everyone you meet of what you’ve seen and heard.

16 So what are you waiting for? Get up and get yourself baptized, scrubbed clean of those sins and personally acquainted with God.’   MSG

2 Tim 1:8  Do not blush or be ashamed then, to testify to and for our Lord, nor of me, a prisoner for His sake, but [with me] take your share of the suffering [to which the preaching] of the Gospel [may expose you, and do it] in the power of God.  AMP

John 9:24 So the second time they summoned the man who had been born blind, and said to him, Now give God the glory (praise). This Fellow we know is only a sinner (a wicked person).

25 Then he answered, I do not know whether He is a sinner and wicked or not. But one thing I do know, that whereas I was blind before, now I see.  AMP

JOHN 20:11 But Maria remained facing the tomb, weeping. Then she stooped down and gazed into the tomb.

12 She saw two celestial messengers, dressed in dazzling white and seated, one at the head and the other at the feet where Jesus’ body had been lying.

13 They asked her, “Woman why are you weeping?” She said to them, “They took my Lord away and I do not know where they have put him.”

14 As she said this she looked around [as if she instinctively felt the presence of someone behind her] and saw Jesus standing but did not immediately recognize him.

15 Jesus said to her, “Woman, why are you weeping? Who are you looking for? She thought he was the gardener and said, “Sir, if you have taken him away, please tell me where you put him so that I may fetch him!”

16 Jesus said to her, “Mariam!” she turned in her step and exclaimed, “Raboni!” which is Aramaic for, my Teacher!

17 “You’ll have to let go of me, so that I may continue on to the Father. Go and tell my friends that I am ascending to my Father and your Father; to my God and your God!”

18 So Maria the Magdalene went to the disciples and announced to them, “I saw the Lord!” And she told them all that he told her.  MIRROR

1 Peter 5:1 I WARN and counsel the elders among you (the pastors and spiritual guides of the church) as a fellow elder and as an eyewitness [called to testify] of the sufferings of Christ, as well as a sharer in the glory (the honor and splendor) that is to be revealed (disclosed, unfolded):  AMP

Rev 12:11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing]. AMP

Rev 12:11 They defeated him through the blood of the Lamb and the bold word of their witness. They weren’t in love with themselves; they were willing to die for Christ.  MSG
