LIGHT THE GREATEST OF GOD’S CREATED WORKS  10-1-23

VIDEO JESUS IS LIGHT 2

Light the greatest of Gods created works. The most important and powerful work of God is light. Without light there would be no form of life. Light is always associated with goodness. Its source is in God and the light defeats darkness. In the Hebrew, the word darkness is misery, destruction, and death. The light is the eternal light of God, which cannot be extinguished. And Jesus is the light of the world. Jesus is not only the manifestation of light. He is the source of all life and light.

GEN 1:1-2 In the Beginning When’ God’ created the heavens and the earth, the earth was completely formless and empty, with nothing but darkness draped over the deep. God’s Spirit hovered over the face of the waters.

3 And God announced; “Let there be light,” and light burst forth!’

4 And God saw the light as pleasing and beautiful; he used the light to dispel the darkness. God called the light “Day,” and the darkness “Night.” And so, evening gave way to morning the first day. TPT

ROM 13:12 It was night for long enough; the day has arrived. Cease immediately with any action associated with the darkness of ignorance. Clothe yourselves in the radiance of light as soldiers would wear their full weaponry.  MIRROR

2 COR 4:6 The light source is founded in the same God who said, “Light, be!” And light shone out of darkness! He lit the lamp in our understanding so that we may clearly recognize the features of his likeness in the face of Jesus Christ reflected within us.

15And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light.

16So don’t hide your light! Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.”  TPT
