GAL 2:16 As Jews we should be the first to know that righteousness is not a reward for good behavior according to the requirements of the Law. We have pursued righteousness for generations under the system of personal performance but failed miserably! Jesus Christ embodies God’s belief concerning mankind’s redeemed righteousness; this is the only valid basis of our belief. Our best intentions to do good cannot add any weight to our righteousness. We have no advantage over any other person. Jew and Gentile alike were equally disqualified by the law; now we are equally justified because of Jesus and for no other reason! MIRROR

Gal 2:19  What actually took place is this: I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn’t work. So I quit being a “law man” so that I could be God’s man.

20 Christ’s life showed me how, and enabled me to do it. I identified myself completely with him. Indeed, I have been crucified with Christ. My ego is no longer central. It is no longer important that I appear righteous before you or have your good opinion, and I am no longer driven to impress God. Christ lives in me. The life you see me living is not “mine,” but it is lived by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

21 I am not going to go back on that. Is it not clear to you that to go back to that old rule-keeping, peer-pleasing religion would be an abandonment of everything personal and free in my relationship with God? I refuse to do that, to repudiate God’s grace. If a living relationship with God could come by rule-keeping, then Christ died unnecessarily. MSG

ROM 5:1 The conclusion is clear: our blameless innocence has absolutely nothing to do with something we did to qualify ourselves; it is what happened to us, solely because of our Lord Jesus Christ’s doing. Faith, and not reward, is the only valid basis for righteousness! Lt us now fully engage this seamless union in our face to face friendship with God!  

2 Jesus is God’s face to face grace embrace of the entire human race. So here we are, standing tall in the joyful bliss of our redeemed innocence! We are God’s dream come true! This was God’s idea all along! MIRROR

Rom 5:9- Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way.

10 If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we’re at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life!

11 Now that we have actually received this amazing friendship with God, we are no longer content to simply say it in plodding prose. We sing and shout our praises to God through Jesus, the Messiah! MSG

ROM 5:9- And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God.

10 So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciled us to himself through the death of his Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in his resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sin’s dominion!

11 And even more than that, we overflow with triumphant joy in our new relationship of living reconciled to God—all because of Jesus Christ!  TPT

TITUS 3:7 His grace vindicates our innocence. We have also become heirs to the life that we have always longed for, the life of the ages.   

8 You can confidently lean the weight of your being on this word! I want you to be emphatic about this; encourage the believers to be conscious of the fact that they are the custodians of this message. In their day-to-day lifestyle they positively advertise its attraction and beauty.    MIRROR

Rom 8:30  After God made that decision of what his children should be like, he followed it up by calling people by name. After he called them by name, he set them on a solid basis with himself. And then, after getting them established, he stayed with them to the end, gloriously completing what he had begun.

31 So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose?

32 If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?

33 And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen?

34 Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us — who was raised to life for us! — is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us.

35 Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ’s love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture:  MSG

ROM 8:30 Jesus reveals that we pre-existed in God; he defined us. He rendered us innocent and also adorned us with splendor and esteem.  

31 All these things point to one conclusion, God is for us! Who can prevail against us?

32 The gift of his Son is the irrefutable evidence of God’s heart towards us. He held nothing in reserve; but freely gave everything we could ever wish to have; this is what our joint sonship is all about.  Everything we lost in Adam is again restored to us in Christ. Sin left mankind with an enormous shortfall; grace restores mankind to excellence!

33 God has identified us, who can disqualify us? His word is our origin. No-one can point a finger; he declared us innocent.  

34 What further ground can there possibly be to condemn mankind? In his death he faced our judgment; in his resurrection he reveals our righteousness; the implications cannot be undone! He now occupies the highest seat of authority as the executive of our redemption in the throne room of God.

35 What will it take to distance us from the love of Christ? You name any potential calamity: intense pressure of the worst possible kind, claustrophobia, persecution, destitution, loneliness, extreme exposure, life-threatening danger, or war?  MIRROR

ISA  53:11  After the great anguish of his soul, he will see light and be fully satisfied. By knowing him, the righteous one, my servant will make many to be righteous, because he, their sin-bearer, carried away their sins.

12 So I, Yahweh, will assign him a portion among a great multitude, and he will triumph

and divide the spoils of victory with his mighty ones —all because he poured out his life-blood to death. He was counted among the worst of sinners, yet he carried sin’s burden for many and intercedes for those who are rebels.  TPT

2 Cor 5:21  How? you say. In Christ. God put the wrong on him who never did anything wrong, so we could be put right with God.  MSG

Eph 1:5 Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!)

6 He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.

7 Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people — free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!

8 He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need,  MSG

Ps 37:27 Depart from evil and do good; and you will dwell forever [securely].

28 For the Lord delights in justice and forsakes not His saints; they are preserved forever, but the offspring of the wicked [in time] shall be cut off.

29 [Then] the [consistently] righteous shall inherit the land and dwell upon it forever. AMP

Hab 2:4 Look at that man, bloated by self-importance —  full of himself but soul-empty. But the person in right standing before God through loyal and steady believing is fully alive, really alive.  MSG

ISA 30:18  For this reason the Lord is still waiting to show his favor to you so he can show you his marvelous love. He waits to be gracious to you. He sits on his throne ready to show mercy to you. For Yahweh is the Lord of justice, faithful to keep his promises. Overwhelmed with bliss are all who will entwine their hearts in him, waiting for him to help them.

19 Yes, the people of Zion who live in Jerusalem will weep no more. How compassionate he will be when he hears your cries for help! He will answer you when he hears your voice! TPT

Ps 33:5 He loves righteousness and justice; the earth is full of the loving-kindness of the Lord.  AMP

1 Tim 6:11 But you, Timothy, man of God: Run for your life from all this. Pursue a righteous life — a life of wonder, faith, love, steadiness, courtesy.

12 Run hard and fast in the faith. Seize the eternal life, the life you were called to, the life you so fervently embraced in the presence of so many witnesses.  MSG
