GOOD FRIDAY THE BLOOD

GOOD FRIDAY THE BLOOD 4-18-25 VIDEO PHIL WICKHAM SUNDAYS COMIN

When God said to Moses “I Am that I Am“  it was the most profound revelation in all of the word. Moses suddenly saw the future he saw beyond time in space. He saw realms of eternity and future generations to come. He saw the One who would bring eternal life by His blood. And new DNA by His blood. And new priesthood came by His blood. By His blood, everything was reconciled.

JN 8:56 Your father Abraham was leaping with joy to see my day! What he saw made him exceedingly glad!

57 Then the Jews said, “Ha! You’re not even fifty years old and you claim to have seen Abraham!”

58 “Most certainly do I say unto you that before Abraham was born, I am!”  MIRROR

JN 8:23 Jesus said to them, “You draw your conclusions from the sense ruled world here below – my source points to a different dimension, a realm which is above the horizon of the senses.

24 That is why I said that you will die in your sins because you are not convinced about who I am, you wouldn’t know who you are! Your unbelief in my I-am-ness will keep you trapped in this death-ruled dimension, the very dimension that I have come to deliver you from!”  MIRROR

JOHN 8:23-24  Jesus spoke up and said, “You are all from the earth; I am from above. I am not from this world like you are.

24 That’s why I’ve told you that you will all die in your sins if you fail to believe that I AM who I AM.”  TPT

HEB 7:16 This new office is not based on the law of precepts constrained by the frailty of the flesh, but by the authority of an indestructible life.  MIRROR

HEB 7:25  Through him mankind’s approach to God is forever secured; he continues to communicate the full accomplishment of their salvation.  MIRROR

Heb 2:6 It says in Scripture, What is man and woman that you bother with them; why take a second look their way?

7 You made them not quite as high as angels, bright with Eden’s dawn light;

8 Then you put them in charge of your entire handcrafted world. When God put them in charge of everything, nothing was excluded. But we don’t see it yet, don’t see everything under human jurisdiction.

9 What we do see is Jesus, made “not quite as high as angels,” and then, through the experience of death, crowned so much higher than any angel, with a glory “bright with Eden’s dawn light.” In that death, by God’s grace, he fully experienced death in every person’s place.

10 It makes good sense that the God who got everything started and keeps everything going now completes the work by making the Salvation Pioneer perfect through suffering as he leads all these people to glory. MSG

HEB 1:1 Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.

2 This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for.

3 Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.  TPT

HEB 10:19  And now we are brothers and sisters in God’s family because of the blood of Jesus, and he welcomes us to come into the most holy sanctuary in the heavenly realm—boldly and without hesitation.

20 For he has dedicated a new, life-giving way for us to approach God. For just as the veil was torn in two, Jesus’ body was torn open to give us free and fresh access to him!

21 And since we now have a magnificent High Priest to welcome us into God’s house, 22 we come closer to God and approach him with an open heart, fully convinced that nothing will keep us at a distance from him. For our hearts have been sprinkled with blood to remove impurity, and we have been freed from an accusing conscience. Now we are clean, unstained, and presentable to God inside and out!  TPT

EPH 2:13 et look at you now! Everything is new! Although you were once distant and far away from God, now you have been brought delightfully close to him through the sacred blood of Jesus—you have actually been united to Christ! TPT

COL 1:20  He initiated the reconciliation of all things to himself. Through the blood of the cross God restored the original harmony. His reign of peace now extends to every visible thing upon the earth as well as those invisible things which are in the heavenly realm.  MIRROR

Heb 9:12 He also bypassed the sacrifices consisting of goat and calf blood, instead using his own blood as the price to set us free once and for all.

13 If that animal blood and the other rituals of purification were effective in cleaning up certain matters of our religion and behavior,

14 think how much more the blood of Christ cleans up our whole lives, inside and out.

15 Through the Spirit, Christ offered himself as an unblemished sacrifice, freeing us from all those dead-end efforts to make ourselves respectable, so that we can live all out for God.

16-17 Like a will that takes effect when someone dies, the new covenant was put into action at Jesus’ death. His death marked the transition from the old plan to the new one, canceling the old obligations and accompanying sins, and summoning the heirs to receive the eternal inheritance that was promised them. He brought together God and his people in this new way. MSG

Heb 10:7 So I said, “I’m here to do it your way, O God, the way it’s described in your Book.”

8 When he said, “You don’t want sacrifices and offerings,” he was referring to practices according to the old plan.

9 When he added, “I’m here to do it your way,” he set aside the first in order to enact the new plan —  MSG

HEB 10:9 Also by saying, “I am commissioned to fulfil your will,” he announces the final closure of the first in order to introduce the second.  MIRROR

HEB 12:24  Jesus is the spokesman and arbitrator of the New Testament order. His blood signature sanctions mankind’s innocence. This is a complete new language that communicates better things, in that it is the very substance of what was spoken in the shadow-type message of the blood sacrifice that Abel brought. MIRROR

1 JN 1:7  But if we keep living in the pure light that surrounds him, we share unbroken fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, continually cleanses us from all sin. TPT

Acts 20:28 Take care and be on guard for yourselves and the whole flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed you bishops and guardians, to shepherd (tend and feed and guide) the church of the Lord or of God which He obtained for Himself [buying it and saving it for Himself] with His own blood.  AMP

Eph 1:7-10 Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, his blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we’re a free people — free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free!  MSG

Romans 5:9 And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God. TPT

REV 1:5  May this grace and peace of Jesus Christ overwhelm you! He is the first born from the dead and embodies the evidence and testimony of everything that God believes about you. He heads up the authority in which we reign as kings on the earth. His crown endorses our crown! He always loves us and loosed us once and for all from the dominion of sin in the shedding of his blood!  MIRROR

1 Peter 1:18 It cost God plenty to get you out of that dead-end, empty-headed life you grew up in.

19 He paid with Christ’s sacred blood, you know. He died like an unblemished, sacrificial lamb.

20 And this was no afterthought. Even though it has only lately — at the end of the ages — become public knowledge, God always knew he was going to do this for you.

21 It’s because of this sacrificed Messiah, whom God then raised from the dead and glorified, that you trust God, that you know you have a future in God.

22 Now that you’ve cleaned up your lives by following the truth, love one another as if your lives depended on it.

23 Your new life is not like your old life. Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God’s living Word. Just think: a life conceived by God himself!  MSG

Matt 26:28 This is my blood, God’s new covenant poured out for many people for the forgiveness of sins.

29 “I’ll not be drinking wine from this cup again until that new day when I’ll drink with you in the kingdom of my Father.”  MSG

John 6:53 But Jesus didn’t give an inch. “Only insofar as you eat and drink flesh and blood, the flesh and blood of the Son of Man, do you have life within you.

54 The one who brings a hearty appetite to this eating and drinking has eternal life and will be fit and ready for the Final Day.

55 My flesh is real food and my blood is real drink.

56 By eating my flesh and drinking my blood you enter into me and I into you.

57 In the same way that the fully alive Father sent me here and I live because of him, so the one who makes a meal of me lives because of me.

58 This is the Bread from heaven. Your ancestors ate bread and later died. Whoever eats this Bread will live always.”

59 He said these things while teaching in the meeting place in Capernaum.  MSG

1 Cor 10:16 When we drink the cup of blessing, aren’t we taking into ourselves the blood, the very life, of Christ? And isn’t it the same with the loaf of bread we break and eat? Don’t we take into ourselves the body, the very life, of Christ?

17 Because there is one loaf, our many-ness becomes one-ness — Christ doesn’t become fragmented in us. Rather, we become unified in him. We don’t reduce Christ to what we are; he raises us to what he is. MSG
