WORSHIP IN SPIRIT AND TRUTH 5-9-25 VIDEO NORVEL WORSHIP 2

There is only one way to worship God the Father. That is in spirit and in truth. This kind of worship brings heaven down to earth. Whenever we gather it like this, God‘s presence is tangible. You can touch Him. Real worship is worshiping from a heart of thanksgiving and gratitude. Touching God. Remembering He is a spirit And so are we. This is how we touch Him.

John 4:23 But the time is coming — it has, in fact, come — when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.

24 God is sheer being itself — Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”  MSG

JOHN 4:23 The end of an era has arrived – the future is here! Whatever prophetic values were expressed in external devotional forms and rituals are now eclipsed in true spirit worship from within, face to face with the Father – acknowledging our genesis in him – this is his delight! The Father’s desire is the worshipper more than the worship!

24 God is Spirit and not a holy mountain or a sacred city with man-made shrines! Return to your Source – the Father is our true fountainhead!  MIRROR

PHIL 3:3  We give “circumcision” its true spiritual meaning! Our worship is not defined by anything external that would even remotely resemble the law of works and religious rituals! We worship God in the certainty of our redeemed innocence and rejoice in the finished work of Jesus Christ. Faith-righteousness gives substance to spiritual worship; the flesh occupies the religious mind with its own futile efforts to attain to righteousness. I am convinced that circumcision or any work of the law can add nothing to the righteousness that Jesus secured on our behalf.  MIRROR

Gen 28:13 Then God was right before him, saying, “I am God, the God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac. I’m giving the ground on which you are sleeping to you and to your descendants.

14 Your descendants will be as the dust of the Earth; they’ll stretch from west to east and from north to south. All the families of the Earth will bless themselves in you and your descendants.

15 Yes. I’ll stay with you, I’ll protect you wherever you go, and I’ll bring you back to this very ground. I’ll stick with you until I’ve done everything I promised you.”

16 Jacob woke up from his sleep. He said, “God is in this place — truly. And I didn’t even know it!”

17 He was terrified. He whispered in awe, “Incredible. Wonderful. Holy. This is God’s House. This is the Gate of Heaven.”

18 Jacob was up first thing in the morning. He took the stone he had used for his pillow and stood it up as a memorial pillar and poured oil over it.

19 He christened the place Bethel (God’s House). The name of the town had been Luz until then. MSG

Rom 12:1  So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.

2 Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. MSG

Ps 150:1 Hallelujah! Praise God in his holy house of worship, praise him under the open skies;

3 Praise with a blast on the trumpet, praise by strumming soft strings;

4 Praise him with castanets and dance, praise him with banjo and flute;

5 Praise him with cymbals and a big bass drum, praise him with fiddles and mandolin.

6 Let every living, breathing creature praise God! Hallelujah! MSG

16 Let the word of Christ live in you richly, flooding you with all wisdom. Apply the Scriptures as you teach and instruct one another with the Psalms, and with festive praises, and with prophetic songs given to you spontaneously by the Spirit, so sing to God with all your hearts!

17 Let every activity of your lives and every word that comes from your lips be drenched with the beauty of our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One. And bring your constant praise to God the Father because of what Christ has done for you! TPT

Ps 84:1  What a beautiful home, God of the Angel Armies! I’ve always longed to live in a place like this,

2 Always dreamed of a room in your house, where I could sing for joy to God-alive!

Ps 84:10 One day spent in your house, this beautiful place of worship, beats thousands spent on Greek island beaches. I’d rather scrub floors in the house of my God than be honored as a guest in the palace of sin. MSG

PS 63:1 O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness. I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more, with cravings in my heart that can’t be described. Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God!

3 For your tender mercies mean more to me than life itself. How I love and praise you, God!

4 Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise.

5 I overflow with praise when I come before you, for the anointing of your presence satisfies me like nothing else.

6-7 I lie awake each night thinking of you and reflecting on how you help me like a father. I sing through the night under your splendor-shadow, offering up to you my songs of delight and joy!

3 For the Lord is the greatest of all, King-God over all other gods!

4 In one hand he holds the mysteries of the earth, and in the other he holds the highest mountain peaks.

5 He’s the owner of every ocean, the engineer and sculptor of earth itself!

6 Come and kneel before this Creator-God; come and bow before the mighty God, our majestic maker!

7-9 For we are those he cares for, and he is the God we worship. So drop everything else and listen to his voice! For this is what he’s saying: “Today, when I speak, don’t even think about turning a deaf ear to me like they did when they tested me at Meribah and Massah, the place where they argued with me, their Creator. Your ancestors challenged me over and over with their complaining, even though I had convinced them of my power and love. They still doubted my care for them. TPT

Heb 13:14  This “insider world” is not our home. We have our eyes peeled for the City about to come.

Dan 2:19 That night the answer to the mystery was given to Daniel in a vision. Daniel blessed the God of heaven,

20 saying, “Blessed be the name of God, forever and ever. He knows all, does all:

21 He changes the seasons and guides history, He raises up kings and also brings them down, he provides both intelligence and discernment,

22 He opens up the depths, tells secrets, sees in the dark — light spills out of him!

23 God of all my ancestors, all thanks! all praise! You made me wise and strong. And now you’ve shown us what we asked for. You’ve solved the king’s mystery.”  MSG

REV 4:8 And the four Living Beings each had six wings pointing upward, these wings were rotating continually in a full circle. They had eyes everywhere, engaging with their complete horizon within and without! Day and night they continued without pause to proclaim, Holy! Holy! Holy is the God whose Lordship is the supreme authority over all things, whose I-am-ness defines time – present, past and future.

9 And whenever the Living Beings would repeat their esteem of his glorious reputation and worth and the inexhaustible goodness of the grace of the One seated upon the throne, the One whose life spans across the perpetuity of the ages,

10 then the twenty four representatives of the entire co-enthroned, co-seated ekklesia would descend from their thrones and prostrate themselves in the awesome presence of him who forever sits enthroned; the One whose life spans the perpetuity of the ages! And they would worship him and cast their crowns before the throne saying,

11 “Our Lord and our God! You are worthy to take the glory and the honor for the dynamic competence displayed in every detail of all of creation! Yes, everything owes their existence to your resolve and for your pleasure we were created!”  MIRROR

3 Know this: God is God, and God, God. He made us; we didn’t make him. We’re his people, his well-tended sheep.

4 Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him.

5 For God is sheer beauty, all-generous in love, loyal always and ever. MSG
