JOINT HEIRS WITH CHRIST  5-16-25 VIDEO WE ARE ADOPTED

INHERITANCE-a share, a possessor. One who receives his allotted possession by right of sonship: We, the body of Christ have been moved into a realm of sharing the glory of His finished work. It is the will of Jesus that we have now become joint heirs with Him. An heir is an individual who through no work of their own is a benefactor and receives an inheritance or a spiritual blessing. It because of the life and the work of Jesus Christ.

Rom 8:17 Because we are his offspring, we are certainly also his heirs; God himself is our portion and we are his! We are co-heirs in Christ. Since we were represented and included in his suffering we equally participate in the glory of his resurrection.

18 He has taken the sting out of our suffering; what seemed burdensome at the time, becomes insignificant in comparison to the glory he reveals in us.

19 Our lives now represent the one event every creature anticipates with held breath, standing on tip-toe as it were to witness the unveiling of the sons of God. Can you hear the drum-roll?  MIRROR

Rom 8:17 And we know we are going to get what’s coming to us — an unbelievable inheritance! We go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with him, then we’re certainly going to go through the good times with him!

18 That’s why I don’t think there’s any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times.  MSG

Gal 4:7  Can you see how foolish it would be for a son to continue to live his life with a slave mentality? Your sonship qualifies you to immediately participate in all the wealth of God’s inheritance which is yours because of Christ.   MIRROR

REV 21:6  And he said to me, everything is now 1fully accomplished. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the sum total of the entire prophetic conversation concerning mankind’s redemption. I am both the origin and the conclusion of all things. Anyone thirsty can come and drink freely from the gift of the waters of life direct from its source!

7 The conquering one inherits all things and I will be God to him and he will be my son.   MIRROR

Gal 3:16 Now the promises (covenants, agreements) were decreed and made to Abraham and his Seed (his Offspring, his Heir). He [God] does not say, And to seeds (descendants, heirs), as if referring to many persons, but, And to your Seed (your Descendant, your Heir), obviously referring to one individual, Who is [none other than] Christ (the Messiah).  AMP

Gal 3:29 Also, since you are Christ’s family, then you are Abraham’s famous  descendant,” heirs according to the covenant promises. MSG

EPH 3:6 Here’s the secret: The gospel of grace has made you, non-Jewish believers, into coheirs of his promise through your union with him. And you have now become members of his body—one with the Anointed One! TPT

TITUS 3:6 He saved us, resurrecting us through the washing of rebirth. We are made completely new by the Holy Spirit, whom he splashed over us richly by Jesus, the Messiah, our Life Giver.

7 So as a gift of his love, and since we are faultless—innocent before his face—we can now become heirs of all things, all because of an overflowing hope of eternal life. TPT

Prov 8:21 That I may cause those who love me to inherit [true] riches and that I may fill their treasuries. AMP

Matt 19:29  And not only you, but anyone who sacrifices home, family, fields — whatever — because of me will get it all back a hundred times over, not to mention the considerable bonus of eternal life.

30 This is the Great Reversal: many of the first ending up last, and the last first. MSG

MATT 19:29 For anyone who has left behind their home and property, leaving family—brothers or sisters, mothers or fathers, or children—for my sake, they will be repaid a hundred times over and will inherit eternal life.

30 But many who push themselves to be first will find themselves last. And those who are willing to be last will find themselves to be first.”  TPT

Ps 2:8 What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize?  MSG

Matt 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what’s coming to you in this kingdom. It’s been ready for you since the world’s foundation. MSG

Heb 6:17 When God wanted to guarantee his promises, he gave his word, a rock-solid guarantee —

18 God can’t break his word. And because his word cannot change, the promise is likewise unchangeable. We who have run for our very lives to God have every reason to grab the promised hope with both hands and never let go.

19 It’s an unbreakable spiritual lifeline, reaching past all appearances right to the very presence of God

20 where Jesus, running on ahead of us, has taken up his permanent post as high priest for us, in the order of Melchizedek. MSG

JAMES 2:5  So listen carefully, my dear brothers and sisters, hasn’t God chosen the poor in the world’s eyes to be those who are rich in faith? And won’t they be the heirs of the kingdom-realm he promised to those who love him?  TPT

1 Peter 1:3 What a God we have! And how fortunate we are to have him, this Father of our Master Jesus! Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, MSG

Gal 4:1 Let me show you the implications of this. As long as the heir is a minor, he has no advantage over the slave. Though legally he owns the entire inheritance,

2 he is subject to tutors and administrators until whatever date the father has set for emancipation.

3 That is the way it is with us: When we were minors, we were just like slaves ordered around by simple instructions (the tutors and administrators of this world), with no say in the conduct of our own lives.

4 But when the time arrived that was set by God the Father, God sent his Son, born among us of a woman, born under the conditions of the law so that he might redeem those of us who have been kidnapped by the law.

5 Thus we have been set free to experience our rightful heritage.

6 You can tell for sure that you are now fully adopted as his own children because God sent the Spirit of his Son into our lives crying out, “Papa! Father!”

7 Doesn’t that privilege of intimate conversation with God make it plain that you are not a slave, but a child? And if you are a child, you’re also an heir, with complete access to the inheritance. MSG

EPH 1:13 And because of him, when you who are not Jews heard the revelation of truth, you believed in the wonderful news of salvation. Now we have been stamped with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit.

14 He is given to us like an engagement ring, as the first installment of what’s coming! He is our hope-promise of a future inheritance which seals us until we have all of redemption’s promises and experience complete freedom—all for the supreme glory and honor of God! TPT

1 Peter 3:9 Never return evil for evil or insult for insult (scolding, tongue-lashing, berating), but on the contrary blessing [praying for their welfare, happiness, and protection, and truly pitying and loving them]. For know that to this you have been called, that you may yourselves inherit a blessing [from God — that you may obtain a blessing as heirs, bringing welfare and happiness and protection].  AMP

Heb 9:15 [Christ, the Messiah] is therefore the Negotiator and Mediator of an [entirely] new agreement (testament, covenant), so that those who are called and offered it may receive the fulfillment of the promised everlasting inheritance — since a death has taken place which rescues and delivers and redeems them from the transgressions committed under the [old] first agreement.  AMP

Heb 9:15 As fully representing mankind, Jesus’s death brought an end to the old, and introduced the New Testament. He thus redeemed us from the transgressions recorded under the first Covenant and identified us as heirs; qualifying us to participate in the full inheritance of all that he obtained on our behalf.    MIRROR

Eph 1:10 [He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on the earth.

11 In Him we also were made [God’s] heritage (portion) and we obtained an inheritance; for we had been foreordained (chosen and appointed beforehand) in accordance with His purpose, Who works out everything in agreement with the counsel and design of His [own] will,  AMP

Eph 1:10 a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.

11 It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, MSG
