Jer 7:24 But they would not listen to and obey Me or bend their ear [to Me], but followed the counsels and the stubborn promptings of their own evil hearts and minds, and they turned their backs and went in reverse instead of forward.
Jer 51:46 Don’t lose hope. Don’t ever give up when the rumors pour in hot and heavy. One year it’s this, the next year it’s that — rumors of violence, rumors of warPHIL 2:12 Considering this amazing outcome of what our faith sees and celebrates, I strongly urge you my darling friends to continue to have your ears tuned to that which inspires your conduct to give full expression to the detail of your own salvation in a most personal and practical way. An example of anticipation is Simeon and Ana who lived every day of their lives, anticipating to see the Messiah. Luke 2:25 In Jerusalem at the time, there was a man, Simeon by name, a good man, a man who lived in the prayerful expectancy of help for Israel. And the Holy Spirit was on him.26 The Holy Spirit had shown him that he would see the Messiah of God before he died.27 Led by the Spirit, he entered the Temple. As the parents of the child Jesus brought him in to carry out the rituals of the Law,28 Simeon took him into his arms and blessed God:29 God, you can now release your servant; release me in peace as you promised.30 With my own eyes I’ve seen your salvation;31 it’s now out in the open for everyone to see:32 A God-revealing light to the non-Jewish nations, and of glory for your people Israel. MSG
Luke 2:36 Anna the prophetess was also there, a daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher. She was by now a very old woman. She had been married seven years37 and a widow for eighty-four. She never left the Temple area, worshiping night and day with her fastings and prayers.38 At the very time Simeon was praying, she showed up, broke into an anthem of praise to God, and talked about the child to all who were waiting expectantly for the freeing of Jerusalem. HEB 11:1 Persuasion confirms confident expectation and proves the unseen world to be more real than the seen. Faith celebrates as certain what hope visualizes as future. MIRROR1 COR 2:9 It is written: “What has been concealed for ages in a realm inaccessible to the senses; what no human eye could catch a glimpse of, nor their ear could even hear a whisper of, neither could the inquiring mind decipher the code of that mystery which God has already fully accomplished and prepared as a royal highway imprinted in the hearts of his lovers!” 10 These profound mysteries of God’s eternal resolve are now unveiled in us; nothing is hidden from Holy Spirit, who explores the innermost thoughts of God. MIRROR
Rom 8:23 These sterile and barren bodies of ours are yearning for full deliverance.24 That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us.25 But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy. MSG 2 Tim 4:7 This is the only race worth running. I’ve run hard right to the finish, believed all the way.8 All that’s left now is the shouting — God’s applause! Depend on it, he’s an honest judge. He’ll do right not only by me, but by everyone eager for his coming. MSG
EZE 12:27 “Son of man, behold, the people of Israel are saying that your visions and prophecies are about the distant future, not today. They say, ‘He is prophesying of times in the distant future.’28 So tell them, ‘Lord Yahweh says to you: There will be no more delay. My words will be fulfilled now! What I have prophesied will be done. Lord Yahweh has spoken!’ ” TPT
