VIDEO WHAT IS WORSHIP
NOT JUST SINGING, MUSIC IT’S ACTION A PROCESS OF BECOMING MORE LIKE HIM-STEPPING IN HIS DIRECTION

Eccl 12:13  All has been heard; the end of the matter is: Fear God [revere and worship Him, knowing that He is] and keep His commandments, for this is the whole of man [the full, original purpose of his creation, the object of God’s providence, the root of character, the foundation of all happiness, the adjustment to all inharmonious circumstances and conditions under the sun] and the whole [duty] for every man. AMP

Ex 19:6 And you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests, a holy nation [consecrated, set apart to the worship of God]. These are the words you shall speak to the Israelites.
WORSHIP-to kiss, to serve, to revere, give first place to. Not limited to our time in church with music.  It is a lifestyle a heart attitude that we live in constantly
it may be regarded as the direct acknowledgement to God, of His nature, attributes, ways and claims, whether by the outgoing of the heart in praise and thanksgiving or by deed done in such acknowledgment.  It is as natural to worship as it is to live.  The feeling and expression of high adoration, reverence, trust, love, loyalty, and dependence upon a higher power.   The New Testament idea of worship is a combination of the reverential attitude of mind and body, the feeling of awe, veneration, adoration

Acts 17:23 When I arrived here the other day, I was fascinated with all the shrines I came across. And then I found one inscribed, To The God Nobody Knows. I’m here to introduce you to this God so you can worship intelligently, know who you’re dealing with.
24 “The God who made the world and everything in it, this Master of sky and land, doesn’t live in custom-made shrines
25 or need the human race to run errands for him, as if he couldn’t take care of himself. He makes the creatures; the creatures don’t make him.
26 Starting from scratch, he made the entire human race and made the earth hospitable, with plenty of time and space for living
27 so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near.
28 We live and move in him, can’t get away from him! One of your poets said it well: ‘We’re the God-created.’  MSG

John 4:23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.
24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality). AMP
↕↕↕
John 4:23 But the time is coming — it has, in fact, come — when what you’re called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship.
24 God is sheer being itself — Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”  MSG

Sometimes we just go through the motions in worship. Jesus tells this woman that they worship what they do not know. Tradition, doctrine, limited to a certain place
but worship is experienced. It is Spirit and Truth. It is heartfelt. Relationship
Entering in with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength

Phil 3:3 For we [Christians] are the true circumcision, who worship God in spirit and by the Spirit of God and exult and glory and pride ourselves in Jesus Christ, and put no confidence or dependence [on what we are] in the flesh and on outward privileges and physical advantages and external appearances  AMP
↕↕↕
Phil 3:3 The real believers are the ones the Spirit of God leads to work away at this ministry, filling the air with Christ’s praise as we do it. We couldn’t carry this off by our own efforts, and we know it —  MSG

Mark 7:7 They act like they are worshiping me, but they don’t mean it. They just use me as a cover for teaching whatever suits their fancy, MSG

SATAN Matt 4:9 And he said to Him, These things, all taken together, I will give You, if You will prostrate Yourself before me and do homage and worship me.
10 Then Jesus said to him, Begone, Satan! For it has been written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him alone shall you serve.  AMP

Matt 4:10 Jesus’ refusal was curt: “Beat it, Satan!” He backed his rebuke with a third quotation from Deuteronomy: “Worship the Lord your God, and only him. Serve him with absolute single-heartedness.” MSG

2 Sam 6:14  And David danced before the Lord with all his might, clad in a linen ephod [a priest’s upper garment].
15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
16 As the ark of the Lord came into the City of David, Michal, Saul’s daughter [David’s wife], looked out of the window and saw King David leaping and dancing before the Lord, and she despised him in her heart.
17 They brought in the ark of the Lord and set it in its place inside the tent which David had pitched for it, and David offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the Lord.  AMP
David, a true worshipper, A man after God’s own heart. Worship is not just singing songs but it comes from the heart. Not traditions of man or religious

Rom 12:1  I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship.
2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]. AMP
↕↕↕
Rom 12:1 So here’s what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him.
2 Don’t become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You’ll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.  MSG

Mark 14:3 And while He was in Bethany, [a guest] in the house of Simon the leper, as He was reclining [at table], a woman came with an alabaster jar of ointment (perfume) of pure nard, very costly and precious; and she broke the jar and poured [the perfume] over His head.
4 But there were some who were moved with indignation and said to themselves, To what purpose was the ointment (perfume) thus wasted?
5 For it was possible to have sold this [perfume] for more than 300 denarii [a laboring man’s wages for a year] and to have given [the money] to the poor. And they censured and reproved her.
6 But Jesus said, Let her alone; why are you troubling her? She has done a good and beautiful thing to Me [praiseworthy and noble].  AMP

Rev 4:10  The twenty-four elders (the members of the heavenly Sanhedrin) fall prostrate before Him Who is sitting on the throne, and they worship Him Who lives forever and ever; and they throw down their crowns before the throne, crying out,
11 Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive the glory and the honor and dominion, for You created all things; by Your will they were [brought into being] and were created.  AMP
↕↕↕
Rev 4:10 the Twenty-four Elders would fall prostrate before the One Seated on the Throne. They worshiped the age-after-age Living One. They threw their crowns at the foot of the Throne, chanting,
11 Worthy, O Master! Yes, our God! Take the glory! the honor! the power! You created it all; It was created because you wanted it. MSG

Ps 100:4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! AMP
↕↕↕
Ps 100:4  Enter with the password: “Thank you!” Make yourselves at home, talking praise. Thank him. Worship him. MSG
It is not to not worship false gods or idols. Worship is what we focus our hearts on so it comes from our heart

1 John 5:21  Little children, keep yourselves from idols (false gods) — [from anything and everything that would occupy the place in your heart due to God, from any sort of substitute for Him that would take first place in your life]. Amen (so let it be). AMP

Ps 22:25  My praise shall be of You in the great congregation. I will pay to Him my vows [made in the time of trouble] before them who fear (revere and worship) Him.
26 The poor and afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; they shall praise the Lord — they who [diligently] seek for, inquire of and for Him, and require Him [as their greatest need]. May your hearts be quickened now and forever!
27 All the ends of the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations shall bow down and worship before You,  AMP
↕↕↕
Ps 22:25 Here in this great gathering for worship I have discovered this praise-life.
And I’ll do what I promised right here in front of the God-worshipers.
26 Down-and-outers sit at God’s table and eat their fill. Everyone on the hunt for God
is here, praising him. “Live it up, from head to toe. Don’t ever quit!”
27 From the four corners of the earth people are coming to their senses, are running back to God. Long-lost families are falling on their faces before him. MSG

Ps 29:2  Give to the Lord the glory due to His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness or in holy array.  AMP

Ps 96:9  O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness; tremble before and reverently fear Him, all the earth.  AMP
We worship Him in the Beauty of His Holiness and in the reflection of His Holy Array.
We during worship as in a mirror reflect His Glory right back to HIm. Much like Jesus
was the exact outray of the Father. WE Echo back HIs words to Him. to show Him our support. He reflects both His character and His support back from us so we can go from one degree of glory to another. HONOR GLORY MAJESTY MIGHT

2 Cor 3:18 All of us! Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him.  MSG NOT JUST SINGING, MUSIC IT’S ACTION A PROCESS OF BECOMING MORE LIKE HIM-STEPPING IN HIS DIRECTION
Ps 9:1 I WILL praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds!  AMP
↕↕↕
Ps 9:1 I’m thanking you, God, from a full heart, I’m writing the book on your wonders.

Ps 111:1  PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) I will praise and give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart in the council of the upright and in the congregation. AMP

Ps 119:2 Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) are they who keep His testimonies, and who seek, inquire for and of Him and crave Him with the whole heart.  AMP

Ps 119:10  With my whole heart have I sought You, inquiring for and of You and yearning for You; Oh, let me not wander or step aside [either in ignorance or willfully] from Your commandments.   AMP

Ps 119:34  Give me understanding, that I may keep Your law; yes, I will observe it with my whole heart.    AMP

Ps 138:1 I WILL confess and praise You [O God] with my whole heart; before the gods will I sing praises to You.  AMP

Ps 102:18 Let this be recorded for the generation yet unborn, that a people yet to be created shall praise the Lord.  AMP

Heb 12:28 Do you see what we’ve got? An unshakable kingdom! And do you see how thankful we must be? Not only thankful, but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not an indifferent bystander. MSG

UNDERSTANDING COMES  Neh 8:6 And Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, lifting up their hands; and they bowed their heads and worshiped the Lord with faces to the ground.

Neh 8:8 So they read from the Book of the Law of God distinctly, faithfully amplifying and giving the sense so that [the people] understood the reading.

Acts 16:14 One of those who listened to us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a dealer in fabrics dyed in purple. She was [already] a worshiper of God, and the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul. AMP

Acts 13:2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, Separate now for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.

Prov 14:27  Reverent and worshipful fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, that one may avoid the snares of death

AN ANGEL SAYS Rev 22:9 He objected, “No you don’t! I’m a servant just like you and your companions, the prophets, and all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!”  MSG

Heb 12:18 For you have not come [as did the Israelites in the wilderness] to a [material] mountain that can be touched, [a mountain] that is ablaze with fire, and to gloom and darkness and a raging storm,
19 And to the blast of a trumpet and a voice whose words make the listeners beg that nothing more be said to them.
20 For they could not bear the command that was given: If even a wild animal touches the mountain, it shall be stoned to death.
21 In fact, so awful and terrifying was the [phenomenal] sight that Moses said, I am terrified (aghast and trembling with fear).
22 But rather, you have come to Mount Zion, even to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to countless multitudes of angels in festal gathering,
23 And to the church (assembly) of the Firstborn who are registered [as citizens] in heaven, and to the God Who is Judge of all, and to the spirits of the righteous (the redeemed in heaven) who have been made perfect,
24 And to Jesus, the Mediator (Go-between, Agent) of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood which speaks [of mercy], a better and nobler and more gracious message than the blood of Abel [which cried out for vengeance].  AMP
He will appear in His glory;  there shall be deliverance, He may teach us His ways, and we may walk in His paths. the Lord shall reign over them, A showcase exhibit of God’s rule in action, men may declare the name of the Lord,
