1 Kings 18:21  Elijah challenged the people: “How long are you going to sit on the fence? If God is the real God, follow him; if it’s Baal, follow him. Make up your minds!”

Nobody said a word; nobody made a move. MSG

 

James 1:6 Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.

SERVE- To be a slave to (literal or figurative, involuntary or voluntary):  KJV – be in bondage, (do) serve. to obey, submit to in a good sense: absolutely, to yield obedience,  in a bad sense, of those who become slaves to some base power, to yield to, give oneself up to:

 

1 Tim 6:10  For the love of money is a root of all evils; it is through this craving that some have been led astray and have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves through with many acute [mental] pangs.  AMP

1 Tim 6:10 Lust for money brings trouble and nothing but trouble. Going down that path, some lose their footing in the faith completely and live to regret it bitterly ever after. MSG

Prov 10:15  The rich man’s wealth is his strong city; the poverty of the poor is their ruin.    AMP

 

Prov 13:18  Poverty and shame come to him who refuses instruction and correction, but he who heeds reproof is honored.  AMP
