God is Our Provider

GOD IS OUR PROVIDER 5-22-16

Phil 4:19 And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. AMP

Phil 4:19 You can be sure that God will take care of everything you need, his generosity exceeding even yours in the glory that pours from Jesus.  MSG

Gen 22:8 Abraham said, My son, God Himself will provide a lamb for the burnt offering. So the two went on together.  AMP

Gen 22:14 So Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide. And it is said to this day, On the mount of the Lord it will be provided.  AMP

Isa 30:23 God will provide rain for the seeds you sow. The grain that grows will be abundant. Your cattle will range far and wide. MSG

2 Cor 9:9 As it is written, He [the benevolent person] scatters abroad; He gives to the poor; His deeds of justice and goodness and kindness and benevolence will go on and endure forever!

10 And [God] Who provides seed for the sower and bread for eating will also provide and multiply your [resources for] sowing and increase the fruits of your righteousness [which manifests itself in active goodness, kindness, and charity].

11 Thus you will be enriched in all things and in every way, so that you can be generous, and [your generosity as it is] administered by us will bring forth thanksgiving to God.

12 For the service that the ministering of this fund renders does not only fully supply what is lacking to the saints (God’s people), but it also overflows in many [cries of] thanksgiving to God.  AMP

2 Cor 9:9 As one psalmist puts it,  He throws caution to the winds, giving to the needy in reckless abandon. His right-living, right-giving ways never run out, never wear out.

10 This most generous God who gives seed to the farmer that becomes bread for your meals is more than extravagant with you. He gives you something you can then give away, which grows into full-formed lives, robust in God,

11 wealthy in every way, so that you can be generous in every way, producing with us great praise to God.

12 Carrying out this social relief work involves far more than helping meet the bare needs of poor Christians. It also produces abundant and bountiful thanksgivings to God. MSG

Luke 22:35 And He said to them, When I sent you out with no purse or [provision] bag or sandals, did you lack anything? They answered, Nothing!   AMP

Isa 23:17 At the end of the seventy years, God will look in on Tyre. She’ll go back to her old whoring trade, selling herself to the highest bidder, doing anything with anyone — promiscuous with all the kingdoms of earth — for a fee.

18 But everything she gets, all the money she takes in, will be turned over to God. It will not be put in banks. Her profits will be put to the use of God-Aware, God-Serving-People, providing plenty of food and the best of clothing. MSG

Matt 17:24 When they arrived in Capernaum, the collectors of the half shekel [the temple tax] went up to Peter and said, Does not your Teacher pay the half shekel?  AMP

Matt 17:24 When they arrived at Capernaum, the tax men came to Peter and asked, “Does your teacher pay taxes?” MSG

Heb 5:7 In the days of His flesh [Jesus] offered up definite, special petitions [for that which He not only wanted but needed] and supplications with strong crying and tears to Him Who was [always] able to save Him [out] from death, and He was heard because of His reverence toward God [His godly fear, His piety,  in that He shrank from the horrors of separation from the bright presence of the Father].  AMP

Heb 13:5 Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently and boldly say, The Lord is my Helper; I will not be seized with alarm [I will not fear or dread or be terrified]. What can man do to me?  AMP

Ps 37:24 Though he falls, he shall not be utterly cast down, for the Lord grasps his hand in support and upholds him.

25 I have been young and now am old, yet have I not seen the [uncompromisingly] righteous forsaken or their seed begging bread.

26 All day long they are merciful and deal graciously; they lend, and their offspring are blessed.  AMP

¯¯¯

Ps 37:24 If he stumbles, he’s not down for long; God has a grip on his hand.

25 I once was young, now I’m a graybeard — not once have I seen an abandoned believer, or his kids out roaming the streets.

26 Every day he’s out giving and lending, his children making him proud. MSG

Lam 3:24 The Lord is my portion or share, says my living being (my inner self); therefore will I hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him.  AMP

¯¯¯

Lam 3:24  I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over). He’s all I’ve got left.

Ps 73:26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the Rock and firm Strength of my heart and my Portion forever.  AMP

Ps 119:56 This I have had [as the gift of Your grace and as my reward]: that I have kept Your precepts [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying them]. AMP

Eph 4:15 God wants us to grow up, to know the whole truth and tell it in love — like Christ in everything. We take our lead from Christ, who is the source of everything we do.

16 He keeps us in step with each other. His very breath and blood flow through us, nourishing us so that we will grow up healthy in God, robust in love. MSG

1 Tim 6:17 Tell those rich in this world’s wealth to quit being so full of themselves and so obsessed with money, which is here today and gone tomorrow. Tell them to go after God, who piles on all the riches we could ever manage —  MSG

Heb 11:26 He valued suffering in the Messiah’s camp far greater than Egyptian wealth because he was looking ahead, anticipating the payoff. MSG
