Jesus raise Lazarus instead of just healing him. So The whole community was affected because they saw God‘s glory. More people are going to see God‘s glory. The glory of God was revealed to people through the ministry of Jesus on the earth. Jesus prayer to the Father he proclaimed that life of glory will be displayed through us. He wouldn’t be invisible to the world anymore but they will see His glory because it will be seen through us. Glory has many meanings one meaning is the nature or life of God. The life of God or the life of glory is beautiful magnificent brilliant or the covering of his presence. Now more tangible and visible, to be seen by people in the days to come. We are his temple. In the old testament the house of God is for the glory was always holy.

John 11:4 When Jesus received the message, He said, This sickness is not to end in death; but [on the contrary] it is to honor God and to promote His glory, that the Son of God may be glorified through (by) it. AMP

 

John 2:11 This, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory [by it He displayed His greatness and His power openly], and His disciples believed in Him [adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him]. AMP

 

John 11:4 When Jesus received the message, He said, This sickness is not to end in death; but [on the contrary] it is to honor God and to promote His glory, that the Son of God may be glorified through (by) it. AMP

 

John 11:40 Jesus said to her, Did I not tell you and promise you that if you would believe and rely on Me, you would see the glory of God? AMP

John 17:1 WHEN JESUS had spoken these things, He lifted up His eyes to heaven and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify and exalt and honor and magnify Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify and extol and honor and magnify You. AMP

 

John 17:4 I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do. AMP

John 17:10 All [things that are] Mine are Yours, and all [things that are] Yours belong to Me; and I am glorified in (through) them. [They have done Me honor; in them My glory is achieved.]   AMP

Isa 60:1 ARISE [from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you — rise to a new life]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!  

2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness [all] peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you [O Jerusalem], and His glory shall be seen on you.  

3 And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.   AMP

Isa 60:1 rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you!

2 Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick gloom covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you!

3 Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise glory of your new day! TPT

 

Luke 9:28 Now about eight days after these teachings, Jesus took with Him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.

29 And as He was praying, the appearance of His countenance became altered (different), and His raiment became dazzling white [flashing with the brilliance of lightning].

30 And behold, two men were conversing with Him — Moses and Elijah,

31 Who appeared in splendor and majesty and brightness and were speaking of His exit [from life], which He was about to bring to realization at Jerusalem.

32 Now Peter and those with him were weighed down with sleep, but when they fully awoke, they saw His glory (splendor and majesty and brightness) and the two men who stood with Him.

33 And it occurred as the men were parting from Him that Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is delightful and good that we are here; and let us construct three booths or huts — one for You and one for Moses and one for Elijah! not noticing or knowing what he was saying.

34 But even as he was saying this, a cloud came and began to overshadow them, and they were seized with alarm and struck with fear as they entered into the cloud.

35 Then there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is My Son, My Chosen One or My Beloved; listen to and yield to and obey Him!

36 And when the voice had died away, Jesus was found there alone. And they kept still, and told no one at that time any of these things that they had seen.AMP

 

Ex 40:34 Then the cloud [the Shekinah, God’s visible presence] covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle! AMP

 

Lev 9:23 Moses and Aaron went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came out they blessed the people, and the glory of the Lord [the Shekinah cloud] appeared to all the people [as promised]. AMP

 

2 Chron 7:2 The priests could not enter the house of the Lord, because the glory of the Lord had filled the Lord’s house. AMP

 

1 Cor 3:16 Do you not discern and understand that you [the whole church at Corinth] are God’s temple (His sanctuary), and that God’s Spirit has His permanent dwelling in you [to be at home in you, collectively as a church and also individually]?

17 If anyone does hurt to God’s temple or corrupts it [with false doctrines] or destroys it, God will do hurt to him and bring him to the corruption of death and destroy him. For the temple of God is holy (sacred to Him) and that [temple] you [the believing church and its individual believers] are. AMP

1 Cor 3:16 Don’t you realize that together you have become God’s inner sanctuary and that the Spirit of God makes his permanent home in you?

17 Now, if someone desecrates God’s inner sanctuary, God will desecrate him, for God’s inner sanctuary is holy, and that is exactly who you are. TPT

 

1 Cor 6:20 You were bought with a price [purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body. AMP

1 Cor 6:20  You were God’s expensive purchase, paid for with tears of blood, so by all means, then, use your body to bring glory to God! TPT

 

2 Cor 3:18 And all of us, as with unveiled face, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another; [for this comes] from the Lord [Who is] the Spirit. AMP

2 Cor 3:18  We can all draw close to him with the veil removed from our faces. And with no veil we all become like mirrors who brightly reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We are being transfigured into his very image as we move from one brighter level of glory to another. And this glorious transfiguration comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. TPT

 

Matt 19:28 Jesus responded, “Listen to the truth: In the age of the restoration of all things, when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will have twelve thrones of your own, and you will govern the twelve tribes of Israel.

29 For anyone who has left behind their home and property, leaving family—brothers or sisters, mothers or fathers, or children—for my sake, they will be repaid a hundred times over and will inherit eternal life.

30 But many who push themselves to be first will find themselves last. And those who are willing to be last will find themselves to be first.” TPT

Rom 5:2 Our faith guarantees us permanent access into this marvelous kindness that has given us a perfect relationship with God. What incredible joy bursts forth within us as we keep on celebrating our hope of experiencing God’s glory! TPT

 

Rom 8:18 [But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us! AMP

Rom 8:18  I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us. TPT

1 Cor 2:7  Instead, we continually speak of this wonderful wisdom that comes from God, hidden before now in a mystery. It is his secret plan, destined before the ages, to bring us into glory. TPT

2 Cor 4:17 For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],

18 Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting. AMP

2 Corinthians 4:17 We view our slight, short-lived troubles in the light of eternity. We see our difficulties as the substance that produces for us an eternal, weighty glory far beyond all comparison,

18 because we don’t focus our attention on what is seen but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but the unseen realm is eternal.   TPT

 

Col 3:4 When Christ, Who is our life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in [the splendor of His] glory. AMP

Col 3:4  And as Christ himself is seen for who he really is, who you really are will also be revealed, for you are now one with him in his glory! TPT

 

2 Thess 1:10 When He comes to be glorified in His saints [on that day He will be made more glorious in His consecrated people], and [He will] be marveled at and admired [in His glory reflected] in all who have believed [who have adhered to, trusted in, and relied on Him], because our witnessing among you was confidently accepted and believed [and confirmed in your lives].

11 With this in view we constantly pray for you, that our God may deem and count you worthy of [your] calling and [His] every gracious purpose of goodness, and with power may complete in [your] every particular work of faith (faith which is that leaning of the whole human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness). AMP

2 Thessalonians 1:10  This will happen on that day when he outwardly adorns his holy ones with glory, and they will be marveled at among all believers—including you, since in fact, you believed our message.

11 With this in mind, we constantly pray that our God will empower you to live worthy of all that he has invited you to experience.[c] And we pray that by his power all the pleasures of goodness and all works inspired by faith would fill you completely. TPT

 

Ephesians 1:18 I pray that the light of God will illuminate the eyes of your imagination, flooding you with light, until you experience the full revelation of the hope of his calling—that is, the wealth of God’s glorious inheritances that he finds in us, his holy ones! TPT

 

Col 1:27 God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple. That is the substance of our Message. MSG
