WE ARE SET RIGHT WITH GOD 8-25-19 VIDEO GRAHAM COOKE RIGHT2

Let the Scriptures become Rhema words to us. And inscribe them on our hearts so that when trials, hard times, bad circumstances come our way we will know that we have favor, divine approval, that we are set right with God. We are now and always will be victorious. God uses his Zoe life to show us that we are approved. He speaks and thinks favorably of us. He speaks that we are good just like he is good. He has a good opinion of us. God‘s approval is his favor. Our being set right makes us friends with God. It is a forever friendship with God.

Rom 5:9 Now that we are set right with God by means of this sacrificial death, the consummate blood sacrifice, there is no longer a question of being at odds with God in any way.

10 If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we’re at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life! MSG

ROM 5:9 And there is still much more to say of his unfailing love for us! For through the blood of Jesus we have heard the powerful declaration, “You are now righteous in my sight.” And because of the sacrifice of Jesus, you will never experience the wrath of God.

10 So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciled us to himself through the death of his Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in his resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sin’s dominion! TPT

Rom 4:5 But if you see that the job is too big for you, that it’s something only God can do, and you trust him to do it — you could never do it for yourself no matter how hard and long you worked — well, that trusting-him-to-do-it is what gets you set right with God, by God. Sheer gift. MSG

Gal 2:16 We know very well that we are not set right with God by rule-keeping but only through personal faith in Jesus Christ. How do we know? We tried it — and we had the best system of rules the world has ever seen! Convinced that no human being can please God by self-improvement, we believed in Jesus as the Messiah so that we might be set right before God by trusting in the Messiah, not by trying to be good. MSG

Gal 2:16 Yet we know that a man is justified or reckoned righteous and in right standing with God not by works of the Law, but [only] through faith and [absolute] reliance on and adherence to and trust in Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One). [Therefore] even we [ourselves] have believed on Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law [for we cannot be justified by any observance of the ritual of the Law given by Moses], because by keeping legal rituals and by works no human being can ever be justified (declared righteous and put in right standing with God).   AMP

Gal 2:16 As Jews we are the first to know that no one will achieve a blameless standing before God by personal performance according to the requirements of the law. What Jesus believes concerning our innocence matters most; he is persuaded that he did enough to declare man righteous. Our best intentions to do good cannot add any weight to our righteousness. Righteousness is not a reward for our good behavior. As Jewish believers we know this! We have no advantage over any other person. Jew and Gentile alike were equally guilty, now we are equally justified because of Jesus and for no other reason! Mirror

James 2:23 The full meaning of “believe” in the Scripture sentence, “Abraham believed God and was set right with God,” includes his action. It’s that mesh of believing and acting that got Abraham named “God’s friend.” MSG

Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. AMP

▼▼▼

Jer 29:11 I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. MSG

Rom 8:31 What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]

32 He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?

33 Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect [when it is] God Who justifies [that is, Who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come forward and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, Who acquits us?]

34 Who is there to condemn [us]? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah), Who died, or rather Who was raised from the dead, Who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us?   AMP

▼▼▼

Romans 8:31 So, what does all this mean? If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us?

32 For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give.

33 Who then would dare to accuse those whom God has chosen in love to be his? God himself is the judge who has issued his final verdict over them—“Not guilty!”

34 Who then is left to condemn us? Certainly not Jesus, the Anointed One! For he gave his life for us, and even more than that, he has conquered death and is now risen, exalted, and enthroned by God at his right hand. So how could he possibly condemn us since he is continually praying for our triumph? MSG

▼▼▼

Rom 8:31 All these things point to one conclusion, God is for us! Who can prevail against us?

32 The gift of his son is it irrefutable evidence of God‘s heart towards us. He held nothing in reserve; But freely and undeservedly gave us everything we could ever wish to have; this is what our joint sonship is all about.

33 God has identified us, who can disqualify us? His word is our origin. No one can point a finger; he declared us innocent.

34 What further ground can there possibly to condemn man? In his death he faced our judgment; in his resurrection he reveals our righteousness; the implications cannot be undone! He now occupies the highest seat of authority as the executor of our redemption in the throne room of God.  Mirror

JOY/FAVOR Ps 30:5 For His anger is but for a moment, but His favor is for a lifetime or in His favor is life. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. AMP

▼▼▼

Psalm 30:5  I’ve learned that his anger lasts for a moment, but his loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic joy. TPT

Ps 97:11 Light is sown for the [uncompromisingly] righteous and strewn along their pathway, and joy for the upright in heart [the irrepressible joy which comes from consciousness of His favor and protection]. AMP

Psalm 97:11  For he sows seeds of light within his lovers, and seeds of joy burst forth for the lovers of God! TPT

Ps 84:11 For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows [present] grace and favor and [future] glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. AMP

▼▼▼

Psalm 84:11  For the Lord God is brighter than the brilliance of a sunrise!
Wrapping himself around
me like a shield, he is so generous with his gifts of grace and glory. Those who walk along his paths with integrity will never lack one thing they need, for he provides it all! TPT

Proverbs 11:11  The blessing of favor resting upon the righteous influences a city to lift it higher, but wicked leaders tear it apart by their words. TPT

2 Cor 5:19 It was God [personally present] in Christ, reconciling and restoring the world to favor with Himself, not counting up and holding against [men] their trespasses [but cancelling them], and committing to us the message of reconciliation (of the restoration to favor).

20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors, God making His appeal as it were through us. We [as Christ’s personal representatives] beg you for His sake to lay hold of the divine favor [now offered you] and be reconciled to God. AMP

▼▼▼

2 Corinthians 5:19  In other words, it was through the Anointed One that God was shepherding the world, not even keeping records of their transgressions, and he has entrusted to us the ministry of opening the door of reconciliation to God.

20 We are ambassadors of the Anointed One who carry the message of Christ to the world, as though God were tenderly pleading with them directly through our lips. So we tenderly plead with you on Christ’s behalf, “Turn back to God and be reconciled to him.”   TPT

John 15:15 I do not call you servants (slaves) any longer, for the servant does not know what his master is doing (working out). But I have called you My friends, because I have made known to you everything that I have heard from My Father. [I have revealed to you everything that I have learned from Him.] AMP

▼▼▼

John 15:15  I have never called you ‘servants, ’because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you my most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from my Father. TPT

Ps 34:15 God keeps an eye on his friends, his ears pick up every moan and groan.   MSG

Proverbs 18:24  Some friendships don’t last for long, but there is one loving friend who is joined to your heart closer than any other! TPT

Luke 12:6 “What’s the price of two or three pet canaries? Some loose change, right? But God never overlooks a single one.

7 And he pays even greater attention to you, down to the last detail — even numbering the hairs on your head! So don’t be intimidated by all this bully talk. You’re worth more than a million canaries.   MSG

▼▼▼

Luke 12:6  “What is the value of your soul to God? Could your worth be defined by an amount of money? God doesn’t abandon or forget even the small sparrow he has made. How then could he forget or abandon you? What about the seemingly minor issues of your life? Do they matter to God? Of course they do! So you never need to worry, for you are more valuable to God than anything else in this world.

“I can assure you of this: If you don’t hold back, but freely declare in public that I am the Son of Man, the Messiah, I will freely declare to all the angels of God that you are mine. TPT

Ps 91:15 Call me and I’ll answer, be at your side in bad times; I’ll rescue you, then throw you a party.

16 I’ll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!”   MSG

Hebrews 13:5  Don’t be obsessed with money but live content with what you have, for you always have God’s presence. For hasn’t he promised you, “I will never leave you alone, never! And I will not loosen my grip on your life!”

So we can say with great confidence: “I know the Lord is for me and I will never be afraid of what people may do to me!” TPT
