A NEW SEASON OF FAITH 1-30-22

A season in the Bible means an appointed time, special time, a new chance to try again. It is a time to plant new seeds of faith again expecting a good harvest. The faith we have moves mountains. In this new season of faith we must not think like the world thinks. The Bible tells us about the measure of faith not saving faith but faith that is required for each one in the body of Christ to move forward in their gift from God. Faith gives confidence and grace to fulfill their role in the body of Christ. Jesus taught about faith. He gives people the opportunity to try again. We’re in the season of trying again. Maybe we did not see the results we wanted in the past but we are given a do over to try again. Faith is not just trust . We can say we trust God and “one day we will see what we have asked for come to pass faith” but really faith is alive now. It has wings and feet and power.

Eccl 3:1 TO EVERYTHING there is a season, and a time for every matter or purpose under heaven:  AMP

Eccl 3:1 There’s an opportune time to do things, a right time for everything on the earth: MSG

Gal 6:9 So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.

10 Right now, therefore, every time we get the chance, let us work for the benefit of all, starting with the people closest to us in the community of faith. MSG

MATT 13:8 But other seeds fell on good, rich soil that kept producing a good harvest. Some yielded thirty, some sixty, and some even one hundred times as much as he planted!

If you’re able to understand this, then you need to respond.” TPT

LUKE 8:8 Yet some of the seeds fell into good, fertile soil, and they grew and flourished until they produced more than a hundredfold harvest, a bumper crop.” Then Jesus added, shouting out to all who would hear, “Listen with your heart and you will understand!”   TPT

LUKE 8:8 But the seed which lands in good soil, flourishes and yields a return of a hundred to one! He then cried out with a loud voice, “Now listen up with your inner ears! It is how you hear my word that makes all the difference!”    MIRROR

MARK 11:20 In the morning, they passed by the fig tree that Jesus spoke to and it was completely withered from the roots up.

21 Peter remembered and said to him, “Teacher, look! That’s the fig tree you cursed. It’s now all shriveled up and dead.”

22 Jesus replied, “Let the faith of God be in you!

23 Listen to the truth I speak to you: Whoever says to this mountain with great faith and does not doubt, ‘Mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the midst of the sea, and believes that what he says will happen, it will be done.

24 This is the reason I urge you to boldly believe for whatever you ask for in prayer—be convinced that you have received it and it will be yours.

25 And whenever you stand praying, if you find that you carry something in your heart against another person, release him and forgive himso that your Father in heaven will also release you and forgive you of your faults.  TPT

ROM 12:2 Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes. TPT

Rom 12:2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].  AMP

Rom 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:

5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;

7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;

8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.  KJV

ROM 12:3-8 God has given me grace to speak a warning about pride. I would ask each of you to be emptied of self-promotion and not create a false image of your importance. Instead, honestly assess your worth by using your God-given faith as the standard of measurement, and then you will see your true value with an appropriate self-esteem.

In the human body there are many parts and organs, each with a unique function. And so it is in the body of Christ. For though we are many, we’ve all been mingled into one body in Christ. This means that we are all vitally joined to one another, with each contributing to the others.

God’s marvelous grace imparts to each one of us varying gifts. So if God has given you the grace-gift of prophecy, activate your gift by using the proportion of faith you have to prophesy.

If your grace-gift is serving, then thrive in serving others well. If you have the grace-gift of teaching, then be actively teaching and training others.

If you have the grace-gift of encouragement, then use it often to encourage others. If you have the grace-gift of giving to meet the needs of others, then may you prosper in your generosity without any fanfare. If you have the gift of leadership, be passionate about your leadership. And if you have the gift of showing compassion, then flourish in your cheerfuldisplay of compassion.TPT

HEB 12:2-3 We look away from the natural realm and we focus our attention and expectationonto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.  TPT

HEB 12:2 Look away from the shadow dispensation of the law and the Prophets and fix your eyes upon Jesus. He is the fountainhead and conclusion of faith. He saw the joy [of mankind’s salvation] when he braved the cross and despised the shame of it. As the executive authority of God he now occupies the highest seat of dominion to endorse mankind’s innocence!

3 Ponder how he overcame all the odds stacked against him; this will boost your soul-energy when you feel exhausted.  MIRROR

MATT 17:20 He told them, “It was because of your lack of faith. I promise you, if you have faith inside of you no bigger than the size of a small mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move away from here and go over there,’ and you will see it move! There is nothing you couldn’t do! TPT

▼▼▼

Matt 17:20 He said to them, Because of the littleness of your faith [that is, your lack of firmly relying trust]. For truly I say to you, if you have faith [that is living] like a grain of mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, Move from here to yonder place, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you.  AMP

JOHN 6:47  “I speak to you living truth: Unite your heart to me and believe—and you will experience eternal life!TPT

JOHN 6:47 Of absolute certainty do I declare to you that anyone whose faith ultimately rests in who I really am, in this one the life of the ages resonates.   MIRROR

John 10:37  If I don’t do the things my Father does, well and good; don’t believe me.

38 But if I am doing them, put aside for a moment what you hear me say about myself and just take the evidence of the actions that are right before your eyes. Then perhaps things will come together for you, and you’ll see that not only are we doing the same thing, we are the same — Father and Son. He is in me; I am in him.”  MSG

HEB 11:1 Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen.

This testimony of faith is what previous generationswere commended for.

Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinatedby the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen.  TPT

▼▼▼

HEB 11:1 Persuasion confirms confident expectation and proves the unseen world to be more real than the seen. Faith celebrates as certain what hope visualizes as future.

2 People of previous generations received the testimony of their hope in faith. It was faith that made their hope tangible.

3 Faith alone explains what is not apparent to the natural eye; how the ages were perfectly framed by the Word of God. Now we understand that everything visible has its origin in the invisible. MIRROR

2 TIM 1:5 I rejoice in the pure faith that I see in you. Remember that you are the third generation of a strong lineage of faith. The same unwavering persuasion that indwelt your grandmother Lois also resides in your mother Eunice and is now abundantly evident in you.

6 This gives me all the more reason to remind you to fan the flame of God’s grace gift within you into a blazing hot fire. Your life and ministry mirrors mine; I endorsed the gift of God‘s boldness within you when I laid my hands on you.

7 Become fully acquainted with his gift in you, there is nothing timid about it; the dynamic of a mind liberated in the spirit of love is fearless and unstoppable.  MIRROR

Heb 4:14 Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith in Him].  AMP

HEB 10:38 And he also says, “My righteous ones will live from my faith. But if fear holds them back, my soul is not content with them!”

39 But we are certainly not those who are held back by fear and perish; we are among those who have faith and experience true life. TPT

JAMES 2:14 My dear brothers and sisters, what good is it if someone claims to have faith but demonstrates no good works to prove it? How could this kind of faith save anyone?

15 For example, if a brother or sister in the faith is poorly clothed and hungry

16 and you leave them saying, “Good-bye. I hope you stay warm and have plenty to eat,” but you don’t provide them with a coat or even a cup of soup, what good is your faith?

17 So then faith that doesn’t involve action is phony.

18 But someone might object and say, “One person has faith and another person has works.” Go ahead then and prove to me that you have faith without works and I will show you faith by my works as proof that I believe.

19 You can believe all you want that there is one true God, that’s wonderful! But even the demons know this and tremble with fear before him, yet they’re unchanged—they remain demons.

20 O feeble sons of Adam, do you need further evidence that faith divorced from good works is phony?  TPT

▼▼▼

JAMES 2:14 My friends, if your faith [in your true identity] is not practical and visible in your conduct it is fake and cannot benefit you in any way.

15 Let’s bring it closer to home, someone in your own family might be struggling financially to the extent that they do not even have the basics as far as clothes and food are concerned.

16 What’s the good if you keep your contact with them very brief and distant and wave them goodbye with empty words, something like, “May the Lord richly bless you brother! Be warm, be fed, ok, bye! Have a great day!” A coat and a cup of soup is going to say so much more!

17 It is clear then that without corresponding acts of kindness, faith on its own is fake.

18 Faith is not in competition with works; the one cannot operate without the other. Faith remains invisible without action; indeed the only way to communicate faith is in doing the things prompted and inspired by faith.

19 Congratulations! So you believe in one God; so do demons; however, their belief in God doesn’t change them it just gives them the shivers.

20 Hey man, if you have nothing to show for your faith your faith is meaningless; it remains a dead doctrine.  MIRROR

2 TIM 4:7 Like a champion athlete I have run my race and completed the course; I have carefully attended to the faith!

8 My wreath of righteousness awaits me as testimony to the Lord’s righteous judgment. He will crown me in that day, the moment I step out of this body. I will not be the only one receiving a wreath of honor; everyone, loving the brilliance of his appearing will be jointly crowned!  MIRROR

2 TIM 4:7 I have fought an excellent fight. I have finished my full course with all my might and I’ve kept my heart full of faith.

There’s a crown of righteousness waiting in heaven for me, and I know that my Lord will reward me on his day of righteous judgment. And this crown is not only waiting for me, but for all who love and long for his unveiling. TPT
