PRAYER CHANGES US 2-4-22

PRAYER CHANGES US!  2-4-22  VIDEO PRAYER COMEDY

Prayer is not something to do by following a religious format. We look upon prayer as getting things for ourselves. But the Bible has a purpose of prayer that we may get to know God Himself. Prayer doesn’t change things as much as it changes us so we can change things empowered by the Father in Jesus name. Luke mentions Jesus praying more than any other writers of the gospel. Jesus told his disciples to pray and He said to pray like this “our Father”. God is partners with us in prayer.

LUKE 11:1 He was praying in a certain place one day and when he paused, one of his disciples asked him to teach them to pray, just like John taught his followers.

2 He said, 1whenever you pray, say, Father! Your Name is to be celebrated as holy by all creation! Your kingdom is present!

3 Sustain us daily with the gift of the prophetic bread that was to come!

4 Oh, that your forgiveness of our sins may be fully realized! So, everyone indebted to us may also know that we have released them from their obligations to us! Father, you know us inside-out! Free us thoroughly from any hidden alliance with the old system of performance-based living!  MIRROR

LUKE 11:9 So what I’m saying to you is this, in prayer, it is the same, simple principle! Ask and it shall be given you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened for you.

10 This is not just true for you as my friend, it is true even for those who are still total strangers to the Father’s goodness! Everyone who asks will receive, and whoever searches will find and whoever knocks, the door will be opened!

11 Any father amongst you would certainly not give his child a snake if they’re expecting to receive a fish;

12 or if he asks for an egg, would you give him a scorpion instead?

13 So, if you, even within the confines of an earth-bound, performance-based religious society, know to give your children excellent gifts that will only advantage them, how much more certainly will your Father give the Holy Spirit out of his limitless, heavenly resources to everyone who asks him!  MIRROR

LUKE 3:21 Not only were all the people immersed into this prophetic, symbolic baptism, but, to crown it all in the most significant and conclusive way, Jesus himself was baptized!  While Jesus was overwhelmed in prayer, the heavens opened!

22 And here, in this open, heavenly dimension, the Holy Spirit alighted upon Jesus in a visible form – like a dove – and the Father’s voice was clearly heard! My Son, you are my beloved one. In you rests my most glorious delight!  MIRROR

LUKE 6:12 It was during that time, that he again departed into the mountain to engage in prayer. He spent the night there; entwined in a face to face mirror-encounter, in the prayer of God.  MIRROR

LUKE 9:28 The following week, this conversation was endorsed when Jesus took Peter, John and Jacob with him and ascended the mountain to pray.

29 And while he was praying his appearance was spectacularly changed by the radiance of God’s splendor bursting through his skin; his face and even his clothes became dazzling white like light. MIRROR

HEB 5: 7 When he faced the horror of his imminent death, he presented his plea to God in an outburst of agonizing emotion and with tears. He prayed with urgent intent to be delivered from death, knowing God’s power was saving him and that he enjoyed God’s full attention – he had a firm grip on the prophetic word.

8 Acquainted with sonship he was in the habit of hearing from above; what he heard distanced him from the effect of what he had suffered.

9 By his perfect hearing he forever freed mankind to hear what he had heard. MIRROR

RO 8:26  And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words.

27 God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings, yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. TPT   ▼▼▼

ROM 8:26 The Spirit also sighs within us with words too deep for articulation, assisting us in our prayers when we struggle to know how to pray properly. When we feel restricted in our flesh, he supersedes our clumsy efforts and hits bulls-eye every time.

27 He who scrutinizes the heart understands the intention of the spirit. His intercession for the saints is consistent with the blue-print purpose of God.

28 Meanwhile we know that the love of God causes everything to mutually contribute to our advantage. His Master Plan is announced in our original identity.   MIRROR
