kairos 9-18-15

KAIROS MOMENT BY Mary Dorian 9-18-15

Gen 1:1 IN THE beginning God (prepared, formed, fashioned, and) created the heavens and the earth.

2 The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

3 And God said, Let there be light; and there was light.

4 And God saw that the light was good (suitable, pleasant) and He approved it; and God separated the light from the darkness. AMP

¯¯¯

Gen 1:1 First this: God created the Heavens and Earth — all you see, all you don’t see.

2 Earth was a soup of nothingness, a bottomless emptiness, an inky blackness. God’s Spirit brooded like a bird above the watery abyss.

3 God spoke: “Light!” And light appeared.

4 God saw that light was good and separated light from dark. MSG

Est 4:14 For if you keep silent at this time, relief and deliverance shall arise for the Jews from elsewhere, but you and your father’s house will perish. And who knows but that you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this and for this very occasion? AMP

¯¯¯

Est 4:14 If you persist in staying silent at a time like this, help and deliverance will arrive for the Jews from someplace else; but you and your family will be wiped out. Who knows? Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this.”MSG

Rev 1:3 Blessed (happy, to be envied) is the man who reads aloud [in the assemblies] the word of this prophecy; and blessed (happy, to be envied) are those who hear [it read] and who keep themselves true to the things which are written in it [heeding them and laying them to heart], for the time [for them to be fulfilled] is near. AMP

¯¯¯

Rev 1:3 How blessed the reader! How blessed the hearers and keepers of these oracle words, all the words written in this book. Time is just about up. MSG

Ps 32:6 For this [forgiveness] let everyone who is godly pray — pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely when the great waters [of trial] overflow, they shall not reach [the spirit in] him. AMP

¯¯¯

Ps 32:6 These things add up. Every one of us needs to pray; when all hell breaks loose and the dam bursts we’ll be on high ground, untouched. MSG

Isa 48:6 You have heard [these things foretold], now you see this fulfillment. And will you not bear witness to it? I show you specified new things from this time forth, even hidden things [kept in reserve] which you have not known. AMP

¯¯¯

Isa 48:6 You have all this evidence confirmed by your own eyes and ears.

Shouldn’t you be talking about it? And that was just the beginning. I have a lot more to tell you, things you never knew existed. MSG

CHRONOS TIME-is a clock time, hours, days, weeks, months years etc

Luke 8:27 Now when Jesus stepped out on land, there met Him a certain man out of the town who had [was possessed by] demons. For a long time he had worn no clothes, and he lived not in a house but in the tombs. AMP

¯¯¯

Luke 8:27 As he stepped out onto land, a madman from town met him; he was a victim of demons. He hadn’t worn clothes for a long time, nor lived at home; he lived in the cemetery. MSG

Acts 8:11 And they were attentive and made much of him, because for a long time he had amazed and bewildered and dazzled them with his skill in magic arts. AMP

KAIROS APPT.-Time for God to act. Holy Spirit driven time.

1 Cor 2:9 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed].

10 Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man’s scrutiny]. AMP

¯¯¯

1 Cor 2:8 That’s why we have this Scripture text: No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it —

What God has arranged for those who love him.

10 But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you. The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along. MSG

Hab 2:14 But [the time is coming when] the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea. AMP

¯¯¯

Hab 2:14 Meanwhile the earth fills up with awareness of God’s glory as the waters cover the sea. MSG

2 Kings 7:1 THEN ELISHA said, Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: Tomorrow about this time a measure of fine flour will sell for a shekel and two measures of barley for a shekel in the gate of Samaria! AMP

¯¯¯

2 Kings 7:1 Elisha said, “Listen! God’s word! The famine’s over. This time tomorrow food will be plentiful — a handful of meal for a shekel; two handfuls of grain for a shekel. The market at the city gate will be buzzing.” MSG

Gen 18:10 [The Lord] said, I will surely return to you when the season comes round, and behold, Sarah your wife will have a son. And Sarah was listening and heard it at the tent door which was behind Him.

11 Now Abraham and Sarah were old, well advanced in years; it had ceased to be with Sarah as with [young] women. [She was past the age of childbearing].

12 Therefore Sarah laughed to herself, saying, After I have become aged shall I have pleasure and delight, my lord (husband), being old also? [1 Peter 3:6.]

13 And the Lord asked Abraham, Why did Sarah laugh, saying, Shall I really bear a child when I am so old?

14 Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord? At the appointed time, when the season [for her delivery] comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son. AMP

¯¯¯

Gen 18:10 One of them said, “I’m coming back about this time next year. When I arrive, your wife Sarah will have a son.” Sarah was listening at the tent opening, just behind the man.

11 Abraham and Sarah were old by this time, very old. Sarah was far past the age for having babies.

12 Sarah laughed within herself, “An old woman like me? Get pregnant? With this old man of a husband?”

13 God said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh saying, ‘Me? Have a baby? An old woman like me?’

14 Is anything too hard for God? I’ll be back about this time next year and Sarah will have a baby.” MSG

Ezek 37:1 THE HAND of the Lord was upon me, and He brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.

2 And He caused me to pass round about among them, and behold, there were very many [human bones] in the open valley or plain, and behold, they were very dry.

3 And He said to me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, You know!

4 Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones and say to them, O you dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.

5 Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath and spirit to enter you, and you shall live;

6 And I will lay sinews upon you and bring up flesh upon you and cover you with skin, and I will put breath and spirit in you, and you [dry bones] shall live; and you shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord [the Sovereign Ruler, Who calls forth loyalty and obedient service].

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a [thundering] noise and behold, a shaking and trembling and a rattling, and the bones came together, bone to its bone.

8 And I looked and behold, there were sinews upon [the bones] and flesh came upon them and skin covered them over, but there was no breath or spirit in them.

9 Then said He to me, Prophesy to the breath and spirit, son of man, and say to the breath and spirit, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath and spirit, and breathe upon these slain that they may live.

10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath and spirit came into [the bones], and they lived and stood up upon their feet, an exceedingly great host. AMP

¯¯¯

Ezek 37:1 God grabbed me. God’s Spirit took me up and sat me down in the middle of an open plain strewn with bones.

2 He led me around and among them — a lot of bones! There were bones all over the plain — dry bones, bleached by the sun.

3 He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” I said, “Master God, only you know that.”

4 He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones: ‘Dry bones, listen to the Message of God!'”

5 God, the Master, told the dry bones, “Watch this: I’m bringing the breath of life to you and you’ll come to life.

6 I’ll attach sinews to you, put meat on your bones, cover you with skin, and breathe life into you. You’ll come alive and you’ll realize that I am God!”

7 I prophesied just as I’d been commanded. As I prophesied, there was a sound and, oh, rustling! The bones moved and came together, bone to bone.

8 I kept watching. Sinews formed, then muscles on the bones, then skin stretched over them. But they had no breath in them.

9 He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath. Prophesy, son of man. Tell the breath, ‘God, the Master, says, Come from the four winds. Come, breath. Breathe on these slain bodies. Breathe life!'”

10 So I prophesied, just as he commanded me. The breath entered them and they came alive! They stood up on their feet, a huge army. MSG

John 2:1 ON THE third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

2 Jesus also was invited with His disciples to the wedding.

3 And when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine!

4 Jesus said to her, [Dear] woman, what is that to you and to Me? [What do we have in common? Leave it to Me.] My time (hour to act) has not yet come. AMP

John 2:1 Three days later there was a wedding in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus’ mother was there.

2 Jesus and his disciples were guests also.

3 When they started running low on wine at the wedding banquet, Jesus’ mother told him, “They’re just about out of wine.”

4 Jesus said, “Is that any of our business, Mother — yours or mine? This isn’t my time. Don’t push me.” MSG

John 11:1 NOW A certain man named Lazarus was ill. He was of Bethany, the village where Mary and her sister Martha lived.

2 This Mary was the one who anointed the Lord with perfume and wiped His feet with her hair. It was her brother Lazarus who was [now] sick. AMP

¯¯¯

John 11:1 A man was sick, Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

2 This was the same Mary who massaged the Lord’s feet with aromatic oils and then wiped them with her hair. It was her brother Lazarus who was sick. MSG

John 11:6 Therefore [even] when He heard that Lazarus was sick, He still stayed two days longer in the same place where He was. AMP

¯¯¯

John 11:6 but oddly, when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed on where he was for two more days. MSG
