NO FEAR 10-31-11  VIDEO FEAR   

Halloween- scary, most of us know there are no monsters etc sometimes we fear change, rejection, abandonment, death etc. We must see that which we fear has been hunted down God.

FEAR- (phobas) that which is being scared causes us to to flee (flight)

The answer for fear is not necessarily running away (not facing) but standing in its face.

Ps 44:6 For I will not trust in and lean on my bow, neither shall my sword save me.

7 But You have saved us from our foes and have put them to shame who hate us.

8 In God we have made our boast all the day long, and we will give thanks to Your name forever. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!  AMP

 

Ps 91:5 Fear nothing — not wild wolves in the night, not flying arrows in the day,

6 Not disease that prowls through the darkness, not disaster that erupts at high noon.

7 Even though others succumb all around, drop like flies right and left, no harm will even graze you.

8 You’ll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance, watch the wicked turn into corpses.

9 Yes, because GOD’s your refuge, the High God your very own home,

10 Evil can’t get close to you, harm can’t get through the door.  MSG

 

Ps 60:11  O give us help against the adversary, for vain (ineffectual and to no purpose) is the help or salvation of man.

12 Through God we shall do valiantly, for He it is Who shall tread down our adversaries. AMP

 

Isa 8:11 For the Lord spoke thus to me with His strong hand [upon me], and warned and instructed me not to walk in the way of this people, saying,

12 Do not call conspiracy [or hard, or holy] all that this people will call conspiracy [or hard, or holy]; neither be in fear of what they fear, nor [make others afraid and] in dread.

13 The Lord of hosts — regard Him as holy and honor His holy name [by regarding Him as your only hope of safety], and let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread [lest you offend Him by your fear of man and distrust of Him].

14 And He shall be a sanctuary [a sacred and indestructible asylum to those who reverently fear and trust in Him]; but He shall be a Stone of stumbling and a Rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, a trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

Isa 8:11 God spoke strongly to me, grabbed me with both hands and warned me not to go along with this people. He said:

12 “Don’t be like this people, always afraid somebody is plotting against them. Don’t fear what they fear. Don’t take on their worries.

13 If you’re going to worry, worry about The Holy. Fear God-of-the-Angel-Armies.

14 The Holy can be either a Hiding Place or a Boulder blocking your way, The Rock standing in the willful way of both houses of Israel, A barbed-wire Fence preventing trespass to the citizens of Jerusalem. MSG

 

Matt 10:28 “Don’t be bluffed into silence by the threats of bullies. There’s nothing they can do to your soul, your core being. Save your fear for God, who holds your entire life — body and soul — in his hands.   MSG

 

Ps 34:7 The Angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him [who revere and worship Him with awe] and each of them He delivers.    AMP

Ps 23:4 Even when the way goes through Death Valley, I’m not afraid when you walk at my side. Your trusty shepherd’s crook makes me feel secure.

5 You serve me a six-course dinner right in front of my enemies. You revive my drooping head; my cup brims with blessing.  MSG

 

Eph 6:10 And that about wraps it up. God is strong, and he wants you strong.

11 So take everything the Master has set out for you, well-made weapons of the best materials. And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way.

12 This is no afternoon athletic contest that we’ll walk away from and forget about in a couple of hours. This is for keeps, a life-or-death fight to the finish against the Devil and all his angels.

STORM WHILE JESUS SLEPT Matt 8:26 And He said to them, Why are you timid and afraid, O you of little faith? Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great and wonderful calm (a perfect peaceableness). AMP

Job was sure there were “monsters under his bed.”  Fear and dread work together. Dread is expectancy of something fearful or horrible or painful.

Job 3:25 For the thing which I greatly fear comes upon me, and that of which I am afraid befalls me.

26 I was not or am not at ease, nor had I or have I rest, nor was I or am I quiet, yet trouble came and still comes [upon me].  AMP

Ps 46:2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change and though the mountains be shaken into the midst of the seas,

Rom 9:10 And that’s not the only time. To Rebecca, also, a promise was made that took priority over genetics. Eph 3:10 Through Christians like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels!

Eph 3:20 Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams] —

Eph 3:20 God can do anything, you know — far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.

21 And as for the people, he removed them to cities and practically made slaves of them [at their own request], from one end of the borders of Egypt to the other.

22 Only the priests’ land he did not buy, for the priests had a fixed pension from Pharaoh and lived on the amount Pharaoh gave them. So they did not sell their land.

23 Then Joseph said to the people, Behold, I have today bought you and your land for Pharaoh. Now here is seed for you, and you shall sow the land.

24 At [harvest time when you reap] the increase, you shall give one-fifth of it to Pharaoh, and four-fifths shall be your own to use for seed for the field and as food for you and those of your households and for your little ones.

25 And they said, You have saved our lives! Let us find favor in the sight of my lord; and we will be Pharaoh’s servants.

26 And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt — to this day — that Pharaoh should have the fifth part [of the crops]; it was the priests’ land only which did not become Pharaoh’s.   AMP
