CELEBRATING PENTECOST

THE CELEBRATION OF PENTECOST  5-28-23  VIDEO BAPTISM OF SPIRIT TODD2

Today we celebrate the person of the Holy Spirit, Who’s coming was foretold by Jesus. He is a Spirit of both life and power. The day of Pentecost was the birthday of Christianity. It did not exist till the Holy Spirit came from heaven.

The promise of the Holy Spirit came to pass on Pentecost. The Holy Spirit came personally to everyone gathered in the upper room. On Pentecost, they spoke by the power of the Holy Spirit, the good news of the Gospel. When they needed the Holy Spirit to strengthen them, and give them courage, He came upon them. We will also see more much more to come, as the Holy Spirit comes upon ALL flesh.

LUKE 11:13 So, if you, even within the confines of an earth-bound, performance-based religious society, know to give your children excellent gifts that will only advantage them, how much more certainly will your Father give the Holy Spirit out of his limitless, heavenly resources to everyone who asks him!   MIRROR

Acts 2:38Peter replied, “Repent and return to God, and each one of you must be baptized in the name of Jesus, the Anointed One, to have your sins removed. Then you may take hold of the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39For God’s promise of the Holy Spirit is for you and your families, for those yet to be born and for everyone whom the Lord our God calls to himself.”  TPT

1 COR 2:10 These profound mysteries of God’s eternal resolve are now unveiled in us; nothing is hidden from Holy Spirit, who explores the innermost thoughts of God

11 Just as a person’s spirit knows their own thoughts beyond the public eye, even so the Spirit of God is our faith decoder to access the thoughts of God.

12 The Spirit proceeding from God unveils the gifts of his generosity. He has graced us with understanding so that we may know what he has always had in mind for us; this is so unlike the secular spirit of the wisdom of the world where everything has a price tag!  MIRROR

2 Cor 1:22 [He has also appropriated and acknowledged us as His by] putting His seal upon us and giving us His [Holy] Spirit in our hearts as the security deposit and guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise].  AMP

JOHN 15:26 But when the close Companion comes, who I shall send to you from the immediate presence of the Father, the Spirit of the truth who originates and proceeds out of the Father, this One will confirm everything about me.  MIRROR

JOHN 14:26 The Holy Spirit is about to become your close companion, sent by my Father in my name to represent me, to teach you all things and remind you of everything that I have spoken to you. Thus my word will continue to find a voice in you.  MIRROR

John 14:26 But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you. AMP

John 14:17And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you know him intimately because he remains with you and will live inside you. TPT

John 16:7 So let me say it again, this truth: It’s better for you that I leave. If I don’t leave, the Friend won’t come. But if I go, I’ll send him to you. MSG

John 16:7But here’s the truth: It’s to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away the Divine Encourager will not be released to you. But after I depart, I will send him to you. TPT

ROM 8:26 The Spirit also sighs within us with words too deep for articulation, assisting us in our prayers when we struggle to know how to pray properly. When we feel restricted in our flesh, he supersedes our clumsy efforts and hits bulls-eye every time.

27 He who scrutinizes the heart understands the intention of the spirit. His intercession for the saints is consistent with the blue-print purpose of God.  MIRROR

RO 15:13 God who is the engineer of expectation fills you to the brim with tranquil delight. The dynamic of the Holy Spirit causes faith to exceed any possible hesitation in hope. MIRROR

Rom 15:19 [Even as my preaching has been accompanied] with the power of signs and wonders, [and all of it] by the power of the Holy Spirit. [The result is] that starting from Jerusalem and as far round as Illyricum, I have fully preached the Gospel [faithfully executing, accomplishing, carrying out to the full the good news] of Christ (the Messiah) in its entirety.  AMP

2 Cor 3:8 Why should not the dispensation of the Spirit [this spiritual ministry whose task it is to cause men to obtain and be governed by the Holy Spirit] be attended with much greater and more splendid glory? AMP

Eph 4:30 Don’t grieve God. Don’t break his heart. His Holy Spirit, moving and breathing in you, is the most intimate part of your life, making you fit for himself. Don’t take such a gift for granted. MSG

John 3:5 Jesus said, “You’re not listening. Let me say it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation — the ‘wind hovering over the water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life — it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom.

6 When you look at a baby, it’s just that: a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch — the Spirit — and becomes a living spirit.

JOHN 3:5  Jesus answered, you have to get this, unless someone is born out of water (the womb) and Spirit, there would be no possible connection with the realm of God!

Acts 2:2 Suddenly they heard the sound of a violent blast of wind rushing into the house from out of the heavenly realm. The roar of the wind was so overpowering it was all anyone could bear!

Acts 2:3 Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks,

6 When they heard the sound, they came on the run. Then when they heard, one after another, their own mother tongues being spoken, they were thunderstruck.

AMP   ▼▼▼

Acts 9:31 Things calmed down after that and the church had smooth sailing for a while. All over the country — Judea, Samaria, Galilee — the church grew. They were permeated with a deep sense of reverence for God. The Holy Spirit was with them, strengthening them. They prospered wonderfully. MSG

Acts 2:17  “In the Last Days,” God says, “I will pour out my Spirit on every kind of people: Your sons will prophesy, also your daughters; Your young men will see visions, your old men dream dreams.

18 When the time comes, I’ll pour out my Spirit On those who serve me, men and women both, and they’ll prophesy.

19 I’ll set wonders in the sky above and signs on the earth below, Blood and fire and billowing smoke,

20 the sun turning black and the moon blood-red, Before the Day of the Lord arrives, the Day tremendous and marvelous;

21 And whoever calls out for help to me, God, will be saved.”   MSG

IMPARTATION 5-26-23  VIDEO ROBERTS LAYING ON OF HANDS

Impartation or imparting, means to transfer a gift, something of value from someone to another. Transferring the life of Jesus from Him into us. It is the adding of something new inside you to be used for the kingdom. Impartation can be given from you to others. Or receive from others into you. The Spirit of impartation is the anointing. Tangible transmission of Divine virtue.

Mark 5:25 And there was a woman who had had a flow of blood for twelve years,

26 And who had endured much suffering under [the hands of] many physicians and had spent all that she had, and was no better but instead grew worse.

27 She had heard the reports concerning Jesus, and she came up behind Him in the throng and touched His garment,

28 For she kept saying, If I only touch His garments, I shall be restored to health.

29 And immediately her flow of blood was dried up at the source, and [suddenly] she felt in her body that she was healed of her [distressing] ailment.

30 And Jesus, recognizing in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around immediately in the crowd and said, Who touched My clothes? AMP

Mark 5:25 Now, in the crowd that day was a woman who had suffered horribly from continual bleeding for twelve years.

26She had endured a great deal under the care of various doctors, yet in spite of spending all she had on their treatments, she was getting worse instead of better. 27When she heard about Jesus’ healing power, she pushed through the crowd and came up from behind him and touched his prayer shawl.

28For she kept saying to herself, “If I could touch even his clothes, I know I will be healed.”

29 As soon as her hand touched him, her bleeding immediately stopped! She knew it, for she could feel her body instantly being healed of her disease!

30Jesus knew at once that someone had touched him, for he felt the power that always surged around him had passed through him for someone to be healed. He turned and spoke to the crowd, saying, “Who touched my clothes?”  TPT

Mark 5:32 But Jesus’ eyes swept across the crowd, looking for the one who had touched him for healing.

33When the woman who experienced this miracle realized what had happened to her, she came before him, trembling with fear, and threw herself down at his feet, saying, “I was the one who touched you.” And she told him her story of what had just happened.

34Then Jesus said to her, “Daughter, because you dared to believe, your faith has healed you. Go with peace in your heart, and be free from your suffering!” TPT

BAPTISM 5-14-23  VIDEO fire

Baptism is more than just repentance. It’s a change from the old life into a brand new one. Jesus throughout His ministry on earth made that possible for all who would believe in Him. Pharisees tried to stir up conflict about baptism, but Jesus would not be involved. A baptism of fire was demonstrated on the day of Pentecost. Baptism is an important first step in becoming new in Christ. The disciples baptized a lot of people.

Luke 12:50 I have a baptism with which to be baptized, and how greatly and sorely I am urged on (impelled, constrained) until it is accomplished! AMP

Luke 3:2 during the Chief-Priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas — John, Zachariah’s son, out in the desert at the time, received a message from God.

3 He went all through the country around the Jordan River preaching a baptism of life-change leading to forgiveness of sins,   MSG

LUKE 3:15  The people were intrigued and wondered whether John perhaps, was the Messiah.

16 John answered, “I symbolically immerse you in water but one, superior to me is about to come; he will immerse you in Spirit and in fire! My baptism is preparing the way for him; I am not here to distract from him in any way, or to make a name for myself! I do not even qualify to be the slave that unties his sandals!”

17 With his winnowing shovel, he will thoroughly cleanse his threshing-floor with his own hands and gather the wheat into his granary. And he will burn the chaff with unquenchable fire.

18 And so, with many more words of encouragement John continued to proclaim these amazing good tidings of mankind’s redeemed identity and innocence, to the crowds.  MIRROR

Luke 3:15 During those days, everyone was gripped with messianic expectations, believing the Messiah could come at any moment, and many began to wonder if John might be the Christ.

16But John made it clear by telling them, “There is one coming who is mightier than I. He is supreme. In fact, I’m not worthy of even being his slave. I can only baptize you in this river, but he will baptize you into the Spirit of holiness and into his raging fire.

17He has in his hands a winnowing fork to clean up his threshing floor! He will separate the wheat from the chaff. The wheat he will gather into his barn, but he will burn the chaff in a fire that no one can ever put out!”

18John used many similar warnings as he preached the good news and prepared the people.  TPT

John 4:1 NOW WHEN the Lord knew (learned, became aware) that the Pharisees had been told that Jesus was winning and baptizing more disciples than John —

2 Though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples —

1 COR 1:13  This is really ridiculous: can Christ be cut up into little relics? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into Paul’s name?

14 Baptism is not my business or emphasis; I am glad that I only baptized Crispus and Gaius amongst you!

15 I distance myself from the idea of employing baptism as a means of branding my ministry with my name! Somehow baptism has become a snare to some who wish to win members to their denomination!

16 Oh yes! Now I remember that I also baptized the family of Stephanus.

17 My mandate was not about winning members for some ‘Christian club’ through baptism! I am commissioned to declare the Good News without any strings attached; nothing to distract from the powerful effect of the revelation of the cross of Christ. MIRROR

Rom 6:3 Are you ignorant of the fact that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death?

4 We were buried therefore with Him by the baptism into death, so that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious [power] of the Father, so we too might [habitually] live and behave in newness of life.

5 For if we have become one with Him by sharing a death like His, we shall also be [one with Him in sharing] His resurrection [by a new life lived for God].  AMP

▼▼▼

ROM 6:3 What are we saying then in baptism, if we are not declaring that we understand our union with Christ in his death?

4 Baptism pictures how we were co-buried together with Christ in his death; then it powerfully illustrates how in God’s mind we were co-raised with Christ into a new lifestyle.

5 We were like seeds planted together in the same soil, to be co-quickened to life. If we were included in his death we are equally included in his resurrection.  MIRROR

4They were all filled and equipped with the Holy Spirit and were inspired to speak in tongues—empowered by the Spirit to speak in languages they had never learned!

5Now, at that time there were Jewish worshipers who had emigrated from many different lands to live in Jerusalem.

6When the people of the city heard the roaring sound, crowds came running to where it was coming from, stunned over what was happening, because each one could hear the disciples speaking in his or her own language.

7Bewildered, they said to one another, “Aren’t these all Galileans?  TPT

1 Cor 12:13 By means of his one Spirit, we all said good-bye to our partial and piecemeal lives. We each used to independently call our own shots, but then we entered into a large and integrated life in which he has the final say in everything. (This is what we proclaimed in word and action when we were baptized.) Each of us is now a part of his resurrection body, refreshed and sustained at one fountain — his Spirit — where we all come to drink. 13 When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive — right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven,

1 John 5:6 Jesus — the Divine Christ! He experienced a life-giving birth and a death-killing death. Not only birth from the womb, but baptismal birth of his ministry and sacrificial death. 39 For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is to and for you and your children, and to and for all that are far away, [even] to and for as many as the Lord our God invites and bids to come to Himself.

40 And [Peter] solemnly and earnestly witnessed (testified) and admonished (exhorted) with much more continuous speaking and warned (reproved, advised, encouraged) them, saying, Be saved from this crooked (perverse, wicked, unjust) generation.

And he replied, I do believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

38 And he ordered that the chariot be stopped; and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and [Philip] baptized him.

REMAINING HOPEFUL 5-12-23  VIDEO HOPE FOR A HOPELESS SITUATION 2

Remaining hopeful even in hopeless times or circumstances, take courage. Know that God is the God of all hope and encouragement, no matter what hard times come our way. Example: Joseph spoke to his brothers, giving hope during the time of famine hope always comes with an inheritance.

Jer 15:19 Therefore thus says the Lord [to Jeremiah]: If you return [and give up this mistaken tone of distrust and despair], then I will give you again a settled place of quiet and safety, and you will be My minister; and if you separate the precious from the vile [cleansing your own heart from unworthy and unwarranted suspicions concerning God’s faithfulness], you shall be My mouthpiece. GODS PLANS FOR YOUR REDEMPTION 5-7-23

GOD’S PLANS FOR YOUR REDEMPTION 5-7-23 VIDEO ATHEIST SAVED 2

God certainly had a plan to redeem the whole world. He most definitely planned to redeem us in spite of our circumstances. He is turning our obstacles into opportunities. Redemption is personal. God has us in His heart. He knew we were enslaved by our sins so He made a way for us to be set free. Redemption from the curse put on mankind. We are Christ descendents you see we must take our redemption personally in Christ. If you have been the only one, Christ would’ve died for you.

ISA 51:1 Listen to me, you who chase after righteousness,” you who passionately pursue the Lord. Look back to Abraham, the rock from which you were cut,

to Sarah, the quarry from which you were dug, and remember what I did for them.

Yes, look to Abraham your father and to Sarah, who bore you. For when I called Abraham, he was but one person, but I blessed him greatly so that one became many.”  TPT

Gal 3:13 Christ redeemed us from that self-defeating, cursed life by absorbing it completely into himself. Do you remember the Scripture that says, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”? That is what happened when Jesus was nailed to the Cross: He became a curse, and at the same time dissolved the curse.

14 And now, because of that, the air is cleared and we can see that Abraham’s blessing is present and available for non-Jews, too. We are all able to receive God’s life, his Spirit, in and with us by believing — just the way Abraham received it.  MSG

Gal 3:16 Now, the promises were made to Abraham and to his descendant. You will observe that Scripture, in the careful language of a legal document, does not say “to descendants,” referring to everybody in general, but “to your descendant” (the noun, note, is singular), referring to Christ. MSG

Ps 139:13 Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb.

14 I thank you, High God — you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration — what a creation!

15 You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something.

16 Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.  MSG

Psalms 139:13 You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside

and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb.

14I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex! Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking. It simply amazes me to think about it! How thoroughly you know me, Lord!

15You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place;

carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something.

Rom 3:23 Since we’ve compiled this long and sorry record as sinners (both us and them) and proved that we are utterly incapable of living the glorious lives God wills for us,

Rom 5:8 But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.

THE GOOD NEWS REPORT 5-5-23  VIDEO THOUGHTS ON JOY

Are you ready for some good news tonight? Each day we dread to hear the news, or read the newspaper. It’s almost like the enemy made a plan to try to convince people that everything is coming to an end. But God! Jesus Christ! Holy spirit! We are called the beloved. A title used by the early church in the most joyous times. All good news here.

ROM 5:8 Herein is the extremity of God’s love gift: mankind was rotten to the core when Christ died their death.

9 If God could love us that much when we were ungodly and guilty, how much more are we free to realize his love now that we are declared innocent by his blood?

10 Our hostility and indifference towards God did not reduce his love for us; he saw equal value in us when he exchanged the life of his Son for ours. Now that the act of reconciliation is complete, his life in us saves us from the gutter-most to the uttermost.  MIRROR

Jer 29:11 I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out — plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.

JOHN 3:16 The entire cosmos is the object of God’s affection! And he is not about to abandon his creation – the gift of his Son is for mankind to realize their origin in him who mirrors their authentic birth – begotten not of flesh but of the Father! In this persuasion the life of the ages echoes within the individual and announces that the days of regret and sense of lost-ness are over!

17 God has no intention to condemn anyone – he sent his Son, not to be the Judge but the Savior of the world.  MIRROR

John 3:16  “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.

17 God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.  MSG

Matt 9:35 Then Jesus made a circuit of all the towns and villages. He taught in their meeting places, reported kingdom news, and healed their diseased bodies, healed their bruised and hurt lives.

36 When he looked out over the crowds, his heart broke. So confused and aimless they were, like sheep with no shepherd.

37 “What a huge harvest!” he said to his disciples. “How few workers!

38 On your knees and pray for harvest hands!”  MSG

Matt 24:11 “In the confusion, lying preachers will come forward and deceive a lot of people.

13 “Staying with it — that’s what God requires. Stay with it to the end. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll be saved.

14 All during this time, the good news — the Message of the kingdom — will be preached all over the world, a witness staked out in every country. And then the end will come.   MSG

LU 4:18 He opened the scroll and rolled it out in order to find the specific place where the following was written, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to announce glad tidings to a starving people; he has commissioned me to announce the freedom of forgiveness  to those held captive at spear-point by their guilt and shame; also, the blind may now look up and be restored in their sight! I am anointed to send out those who are bruised and traumatized, into the freedom of their redeemed innocence.  MIRROR

Romans 1:16  refuse to be ashamed of the wonderful message of God’s liberating power unleashed in us through Christ! For I am thrilled to preach that everyone who believes is saved—the Jew first, and then people everywhere!

17This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith, to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”  TPT

Rom 10:15  And how can men [be expected to] preach unless they are sent? As it is written, How beautiful are the feet of those who bring glad tidings! [How welcome is the coming of those who preach the good news of His good things!]  AMP

EPH 6:19 My most urgent request is for clarity of utterance every time I open my mouth to speak. I desire that my words will be gifted with inspiration, boldly articulating the mystery of the gospel. MIRROR

Rev 14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, with an eternal Gospel (good news) to tell to the inhabitants of the earth, to every race and tribe and language and people.  AMP

ROM 8:37 On the contrary, in the thick of these things our triumph remains beyond dispute. His love has placed us above the reach of any onslaught.

38 This is my conviction; no threat whether it be in death or life; be it celestial messengers, demon powers or political principalities, nothing known to us at this time, or even in the unknown future;

39 no dimension of any calculation in time or space, nor any device yet to be invented, has what it takes to separate us from the love of God unveiled in our Lord, Jesus Christ.  MIRROR

Romans 8:1 So now the case is closed. There remains no accusing voice of condemnation against those who are joined in life-union with Jesus, the Anointed One.

2For the “law” of the Spirit of life flowing through the anointing of Jesus has liberated us from the “law” of sin and death.

3For God achieved what the law was unable to accomplish, because the law was limited by the weakness of human nature. Yet God sent us his Son in human form to identify with human weakness. Clothed with humanity, God’s Son gave his body to be the sin-offering so that God could once and for all condemn the guilt and power of sin.   TPT

Ephesians 1:6 For it was always in his perfect plan to adopt us as his delightful children, through our union with Jesus, the Anointed One, so that his tremendous love that cascades over us would glorify his grace— for the same love he has for the Beloved, Jesus, he has for us. And this unfolding plan brings him great pleasure!

7Since we are now joined to Christ, we have been given the treasures of redemption by his blood—the total cancellation of our sins—all because of the cascading riches of his grace.

8This superabundant grace is already powerfully working in us, releasing all forms of wisdom and practical understanding.

9And through the revelation of the Anointed One, he unveiled his secret desires to us—the hidden mystery of his long-range plan, which he was delighted to implement from the very beginning of time.

10And because of God’s unfailing purpose, this detailed plan will reign supreme through every period of time until the fulfillment of all the ages finally reaches its climax—when God makes all things new in all of heaven and earth through Jesus Christ.

11Through our union with Christ we too have been claimed by God as his own inheritance. Before we were even born, he gave us our destiny; that we would fulfill the plan of God who always accomplishes every purpose and plan in his heart. TPT

Rev 21:1  I saw Heaven and earth new-created. Gone the first Heaven, gone the first earth, gone the sea.

2 I saw Holy Jerusalem, new-created, descending resplendent out of Heaven, as ready for God as a bride for her husband.

3 I heard a voice thunder from the Throne: “Look! Look! God has moved into the neighborhood, making his home with men and women! They’re his people, he’s their God.

4 He’ll wipe every tear from their eyes. Death is gone for good — tears gone, crying gone, pain gone — all the first order of things gone.”

5 The Enthroned continued, “Look! I’m making everything new. Write it all down — each word dependable and accurate.”

6 Then he said, “It’s happened. I’m A to Z. I’m the Beginning, I’m the Conclusion. From Water-of-Life Well I give freely to the thirsty.

1 Cor 15:55 Who got the last word, oh, Death? Oh, Death, who’s afraid of you now?

56 It was sin that made death so frightening and law-code guilt that gave sin its leverage, its destructive power.

57 But now in a single victorious stroke of Life, all three — sin, guilt, death — are gone, the gift of our Master, Jesus Christ. Thank God!

58 With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.  MSG
