real authority 4-22-18

REAL AUTHORITY 4-23-18

The Bible word for authority is freedom to decide or act without hindrance. It is the power to do what you have been called to do. It is that which is delegated to you and authorize for you to complete. It is an action on behalf of God. You have freedom and permission to act in Gods name. Jesus says that authority is from the heart. It does not come from credentials, authority is from the father. This Authority is given to us by Jesus from the father and empowered by the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ last words on this earth were to release the authority to his believers. The Lord sat down because he has passed the torch to his disciples. They have passed it to us. The Holy Spirit has confirmed and empowered us. It includes both physical and mental power; the ability or strength with which one is endued. It is the power of authority (influence).

Prov 29:2 When the [uncompromisingly] righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked man rules, the people groan and sigh. AMP

Matt 7:29 For He was teaching as One Who had [and was] authority, and not as [did] the scribes. AMP

↓↓↓

Matthew 7:28 By the time Jesus finished speaking, the crowds were dazed and overwhelmed by his teaching,

29 because his words carried such great authority, quite unlike their religious scholars TPT

Mark 10:42 Jesus got them together to settle things down. “You’ve observed how godless rulers throw their weight around,” he said, “and when people get a little power how quickly it goes to their heads.

43 It’s not going to be that way with you. Whoever wants to be great must become a servant.

44 Whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave.

45 That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not to be served — and then to give away his life in exchange for many who are held hostage.” MSG

↓↓↓

Mark 10:42 Jesus gathered them all together and said to them, “Those recognized as rulers of the people and those who are in top leadership positions rule oppressively over their subjects, but this is not the example you are to follow.

43 You are to lead by a different model. If you want to be the greatest one, then live as one called to serve others.

44 The path to promotion and prominence comes by having the heart of a bond-slave who serves everyone.

45 For even the Son of Man did not come expecting to be served by everyone, but to serve everyone, and to give his life as the ransom price in exchange for the salvation of many.” TPT

2 Cor 1:24 We’re not in charge of how you live out the faith, looking over your shoulders, suspiciously critical. We’re partners, working alongside you, joyfully expectant. I know that you stand by your own faith, not by ours. MSG

↓↓↓

2 Corinthians 1:24 But I don’t want to imply that as leaders we coerce you or somehow want to rule over your faith. Instead, we are your partners who are called to increase your joy. And we know that you already stand firm because of your strong faith. TPT

Matt 21:23 And when He entered the sacred enclosure of the temple, the chief priests and elders of the people came up to Him as He was teaching and said, By what power of authority are You doing these things, and who gave You this power of authority?

24 Jesus answered them, I also will ask you a question, and if you give Me the answer, then I also will tell you by what power of authority I do these things.

25 The baptism of John — from where was it? From heaven or from men? And they reasoned and argued with one another, If we say, From heaven, He will ask us, Why then did you not believe him?

26 But if we say, From men — we are afraid of and must reckon with the multitude, for they all regard John as a prophet.

27 So they answered Jesus, We do not know. And He said to them, Neither will I tell you by what power of authority I do these things. AMP

↓↓↓

Matt 21:23 Then he was back in the Temple, teaching. The high priests and leaders of the people came up and demanded, “Show us your credentials. Who authorized you to teach here?”

24 Jesus responded, “First let me ask you a question. You answer my question and I’ll answer yours.

25 About the baptism of John — who authorized it: heaven or humans?”

They were on the spot and knew it. They pulled back into a huddle and whispered, “If we say ‘heaven,’ he’ll ask us why we didn’t believe him;

26 if we say ‘humans,’ we’re up against it with the people because they all hold John up as a prophet.”

27 They decided to concede that round to Jesus. “We don’t know,” they answered. Jesus said, “Then neither will I answer your question. MSG

Matthew 23:2 The religious scholars and the Pharisees sit on Moses’ throne as the authorized interpreters of the Law.

So listen and follow what they teach, but don’t do what they do, for they tell you one thing and do another.

They tie on your backs an oppressive burden of religious obligations and insist that you carry it, but will never lift a finger to help ease your load.

Everything they do is done for show and to be noticed by others. They want to be seen as holy, so they wear oversized prayer boxes on their arms and foreheads with Scriptures inside, and wear extra-long tassels on their outer garments.

They crave the seats of highest honor at banquets and in their meeting places.

And how they love to be admired by men with their titles of respect, aspiring to be recognized in public and have others call them ‘Reverend. TPT

Matt 23:8 “Don’t let people do that to you, put you on a pedestal like that. You all have a single Teacher, and you are all classmates.

9 Don’t set people up as experts over your life, letting them tell you what to do. Save that authority for God; let him tell you what to do. No one else should carry the title of ‘Father’; you have only one Father, and he’s in heaven.

10 And don’t let people maneuver you into taking charge of them. There is only one Life-Leader for you and them — Christ.

11 “Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant.

12 If you puff yourself up, you’ll get the wind knocked out of you. But if you’re content to simply be yourself, your life will count for plenty. MSG

Eph 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. KJV

Matthew 28:18 Then Jesus came close to them and said, “All the authority of the universe has been given to me.

19 Now go in my authority and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

20 And teach them to faithfully follow[ all that I have commanded you. And never forget that I am with you every day, even to the completion of this age. TPT

John 1:12 But those who embraced him and took hold of his name were given authority to become the children of God! TPT

Matt 8:23 Then he got in the boat, his disciples with him.

24 The next thing they knew, they were in a severe storm. Waves were crashing into the boat — and he was sound asleep!

25 They roused him, pleading, “Master, save us! We’re going down!”

26 Jesus reprimanded them. “Why are you such cowards, such faint-hearts?” Then he stood up and told the wind to be silent, the sea to quiet down: “Silence!” The sea became smooth as glass.

27 The men rubbed their eyes, astonished. “What’s going on here? Wind and sea come to heel at his command!” MSG

John 16:13 But when He, the Spirit of Truth (the Truth-giving Spirit) comes, He will guide you into all the Truth (the whole, full Truth). 14 He will honor and glorify Me, because He will take of (receive, draw upon) what is Mine and will reveal (declare, disclose, transmit) it to you.

GOD’S MANIFEST PRESENCE 4-20-18

GOD’S MANIFEST PRESENCE 4-20-18 VIDEO ABUSE TO FACE TO FACE

Glorybound: God has prepared this church to see His manifest presence. It goes beyond the tingly feeling goose bumps. God wants to let us know His person. To reveal Himself to us through our five senses. His manifest presence He is God Omni present and He is eternal. He is spirit. He is everywhere all the time. His Omni presence is everywhere at all times, but we might not consciously with our senses know him. God is moving us into real tangible experience with Him.

Jer 23:24 Can anyone hide out in a corner where I can’t see him?” God’s Decree.

Am I not present everywhere, whether seen or unseen?” God’s Decree. MSG

Acts 17:27 So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us.

28 For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring. AMP

¯¯¯

Acts 17:27 so we could seek after God, and not just grope around in the dark but actually find him. He doesn’t play hide-and-seek with us. He’s not remote; he’s near.

28 We live and move in him, can’t get away from him! One of your poets said it well: ‘We’re the God-created.’ MSG

Prov 8:17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me early and diligently shall find me. AMP

Jer 3:16 And it shall be that when you have multiplied and increased in the land in those days, says the Lord, they shall no more say, The ark of the covenant of the Lord. It shall not come to mind, nor shall they [seriously] remember it, nor shall they miss or visit it, nor shall it be repaired or made again [for instead of the ark, which represented God’s presence, He will show Himself to be present throughout the city].   AMP

2 Cor 3:17 They suddenly recognize that God is a living, personal presence, not a piece of chiseled stone. And when God is personally present, a living Spirit, that old, constricting legislation is recognized as obsolete. We’re free of it! MSG

2 Cor 2:17 No — but at least we don’t take God’s Word, water it down, and then take it to the streets to sell it cheap. We stand in Christ’s presence when we speak; God looks us in the face. We get what we say straight from God and say it as honestly as we can. MSG

Acts 22:14 And he said, The God of our forefathers has destined and appointed you to come progressively to know His will [to perceive, to recognize more strongly and clearly, and to become better and more intimately acquainted with His will], and to see the Righteous One (Jesus Christ, the Messiah), and to hear a voice from His [own] mouth and a message from His [own] lips; AMP

Eph 3:19 [That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! John 4:22 You [Samaritans] do not know what you are worshiping [you worship what you do not comprehend]. We do know what we are worshiping [we worship what we have knowledge of and understand], for [after all] salvation comes from [among] the Jews.

23 A time will come, however, indeed it is already here, when the true (genuine) worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth (reality); for the Father is seeking just such people as these as His worshipers.

24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality). AMP

John 4:22 Your people don’t really know the One they worship. We Jews worship out of our experience, for it’s from the Jews that salvation is made available.

23–24 From here on, worshiping the Father will not be a matter of the right place but with the right heart. For God is a Spirit, and he longs to have sincere worshipers who worship and adore him in the realm of the Spirit and in truth. TPT

John 4:20 Our fathers in this mountain worshipped. And as for all of you, you all say that in Jerusalem is the place where it is necessary in the nature of the case to be worshipping. Jesus says to her, Be believing me, woman, there comes an hour when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you all worship the Father. As I or you, you all worship that which you are not knowing. As for us, we worship that which we know, for the salvation is from the Jews as a source. But there comes an hour and it is now, when the genuine worshippers shall worship the Father in a spiritual sphere, and in the sphere of truth. For indeed, the Father is seeking such as these who worship Him. God as to His nature is spirit, and for those who are worshipping, it is necessary in the nature of the case to be worshipping in a spiritual sphere, and in the sphere of truth. Wuest

John 14:21 The person who has My commands and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I [too] will love him and will show (reveal, manifest) Myself to him. [I will let Myself be clearly seen by him and make Myself real to him.] AMP

He who has my commandments and habitually keeps them, that one is he who is loving me with a divine and self-sacrificial love. 14 And so the Living Expression became a man and lived among us! And we gazed upon the splendor of his glory the glory of the One and Only who came from the Father overflowing with tender mercy[i] and truth!
15 John taught the truth about him when he announced to the people, “He’s the One! Set your hearts on him! I told you he would come after me, even though he ranks far above me, for he existed before I was even born.
16 And now out of his fullness we are fulfilled And from him we receive grace heaped upon more grace!
17 Moses gave us the Law, but Jesus, the Anointed One, unveils truth wrapped in tender mercy.

15 He pressed them, “And how about you? Who do you say I am?”

16 Simon Peter said, “You’re the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

DESTINY 4-15-17

DESTINY 4-15-18 VIDEO GRAHAM COOKE DRAMA

Destiny-comes from the word DESTINATION which is the end result. The journey’s end. A landing place.

1 Peter 1:20 It is true that He was chosen and foreordained (destined and foreknown for it) before the foundation of the world, but He was brought out to public view (made manifest) in these last days (at the end of the times) for the sake of you. AMP

Hebrews 12:2 We look away from the natural realm and we fasten our gaze onto Jesus who birthed faith within us and who leads us forward into faith’s perfection. His example is this: Because his heart was focused on the joy of knowing that you would be his, he endured the agony of the cross and conquered its humiliation, and now sits exalted at the right hand of the throne of God!

So consider carefully how Jesus faced such intense opposition from sinners who opposed their own souls, so that you won’t become worn down and cave in under life’s pressures.

After all, you have not yet reached the point of sweating blood[e] in your opposition to sin. TPT

Acts 2:23 This Jesus, when delivered up according to the definite and fixed purpose and settled plan and foreknowledge of God, you crucified and put out of the way [killing Him] by the hands of lawless and wicked men. AMP

Psalm 16:9 My heart and soul explode with joy—full of glory! Even my body will rest confident and secure.
10 For you will not abandon me to the realm of death, nor will you allow your Holy One to experience corruption.
11 For you bring me a continual revelation of resurrection life, the path to the bliss that brings me face-to-face with you. TPT

64 for you’ve heard this grievous blasphemy.” Turning to the council he said, “Now, what is your verdict?” “He’s guilty and deserves the death penalty!” they all answered.

65 Then they spat on his face and blindfolded him. Others struck him over and over with their fists and taunted him by saying, “Prophesy to us! Tell us which one of us is about to hit you next?” And the guards took him and beat him. TPT

MOSES Acts 7:23 And when he was in his fortieth year, it came into his heart to visit his kinsmen the children of Israel [to help them and to care for them].

24 And on seeing one of them being unjustly treated, he defended the oppressed man and avenged him by striking down the Egyptian and slaying [him].

25 He expected his brethren to understand that God was granting them deliverance by his hand [taking it for granted that they would accept him]; but they did not understand.

26 Then on the next day he suddenly appeared to some who were quarreling and fighting among themselves, and he urged them to make peace and become reconciled, saying, Men, you are brethren; why do you abuse and wrong one another?

27 Whereupon the man who was abusing his neighbor pushed [Moses] aside, saying, Who appointed you a ruler (umpire) and a judge over us?

28 Do you intend to slay me as you slew the Egyptian yesterday?

29 At that reply Moses sought safety by flight and he was an exile and an alien in the country of Midian, where he became the father of two sons. AMP

Ex 3:3 Moses said, “What’s going on here? I can’t believe this! Amazing! Why doesn’t the bush burn up?”

5 God said, “Don’t come any closer. Remove your sandals from your feet. You’re standing on holy ground.”

6 Then he said, “I am the God of your father: The God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face, afraid to look at God.

7 God said, “I’ve taken a good, long look at the affliction of my people in Egypt. I’ve heard their cries for deliverance from their slave masters; I know all about their pain.

8 And now I have come down to help them, pry them loose from the grip of Egypt, get them out of that country and bring them to a good land with wide-open spaces, a land lush with milk and honey, the land of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

9 “The Israelite cry for help has come to me, and I’ve seen for myself how cruelly they’re being treated by the Egyptians.

8 His brothers said to him, Shall you indeed reign over us? Or are you going to have us as your subjects and dominate us? And they hated him all the more for his dreams and for what he said.

9 But Joseph dreamed yet another dream and told it to his brothers [also]. He said, See here, I have dreamed again, and behold, [this time not only] eleven stars [but also] the sun and the moon bowed down and did reverence to me!

10 And he told it to his father [as well as] his brethren. But his father rebuked him and said to him, What is the meaning of this dream that you have dreamed? Shall I and your mother and your brothers actually come to bow down ourselves to the earth and do homage to you?   AMP

12 Jesse sent and brought him. David had a healthy reddish complexion and beautiful eyes, and was fine-looking. The Lord said [to Samuel], Arise, anoint him; this is he.

14 And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.

Romans 8:24 For this is the hope of our salvation. But hope means that we must trust and wait for what is still unseen. For why would we need to hope for something we already have?

25 So because our hope is set on what is yet to be seen, we patiently keep on waiting for its fulfillment.

26 And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs[b] too deep for words.

27 God, the searcher of the heart, knows fully our longings,[c] yet he also understands the desires of the Spirit, because the Holy Spirit passionately pleads before God for us, his holy ones, in perfect harmony with God’s plan and our destiny.

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose. TPT

Rom 8:24 That is why waiting does not diminish us, any more than waiting diminishes a pregnant mother. We are enlarged in the waiting. We, of course, don’t see what is enlarging us.

25 But the longer we wait, the larger we become, and the more joyful our expectancy.

26 Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.

27 He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God.

28 That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. MSG

Job 22:28 You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways.

29 When they make [you] low, you will say, [There is] a lifting up; and the humble person He lifts up and saves.

Heb 4:12 For the Word that God speaks is alive and full of power [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

13 And not a creature exists that is concealed from His sight, but all things are open and exposed, naked and defenseless to the eyes of Him with Whom we have to do.

14 Inasmuch then as we have a great High Priest Who has [already] ascended and passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession [of faith in Him].

15 For we do not have a High Priest Who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One Who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.

16 Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it]. Heb 4:12 God means what he says. What he says goes. His powerful Word is sharp as a surgeon’s scalpel, cutting through everything, whether doubt or defense, laying us open to listen and obey.

13 Nothing and no one is impervious to God’s Word. We can’t get away from it — no matter what.

14 Now that we know what we have — Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God — let’s not let it slip through our fingers.

15 We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all — all but the sin.

16 So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help. MSG

Heb 12:1 THEREFORE THEN, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses [who have borne testimony to the Truth], let us strip off and throw aside every encumbrance (unnecessary weight) and that sin which so readily (deftly and cleverly) clings to and entangles us, and let us run with patient endurance and steady and active persistence the appointed course of the race that is set before us,

2 Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection]. He, for the joy [of obtaining the prize] that was set before Him, endured the cross, despising and ignoring the shame, and is now seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

3 Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds. AMP

Heb 12:1 Do you see what this means — all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running — and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins.

2 Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed — that exhilarating finish in and with God — he could put up with anything along the way: cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God.

13 Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet.

14 Truth, righteousness,

15 peace,

16 faith,

17 and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon.

18 In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. MSG

CONFIDENCE

CONFIDENCE 4-6-18 VIDEO SPOKEN WORD CONFIDENCE 2

CONFIDENCE-comes from the word confide (to put yourself in someone else’s hands and tell them your heart)

Job 31:24 If I have made gold my trust and hope or have said to fine gold, You are my confidence,

25 If I rejoiced because my wealth was great and because my [powerful] hand [alone] had gotten much,

26 If I beheld [as an object of worship] the sunlight when it shone or the moon walking in its brightness,

27 And my heart has been secretly enticed by them or my mouth has kissed my hand [in homage to them],

28 This also would have been [a heinous and principal] iniquity to demand the judges’ action and punishment, for I would have denied and been false to the God Who is above. AMP

2 Chron 32:6 He then appointed military officers to be responsible for the people and got them all together at the public square in front of the city gate.

Hezekiah rallied the people, saying,

EASTER SUNDAY (DO YOU BELIEVE THIS) 4-1-18

VIDEO JESUS RESURRECTION AND LIFE SONG

John 11:25 Jesus said to her, I am [Myself] the Resurrection and the Life. Whoever believes in (adheres to, trusts in, and relies on) Me, although he may die, yet he shall live;

26 And whoever continues to live and believes in (has faith in, cleaves to, and relies on) Me shall never [actually] die at all. Do you believe this? AMP

John 11:25 “You don’t have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life. The one who believes in me, even though he or she dies, will live.

26 And everyone who lives believing in me does not ultimately die at all. Do you believe this?”   MSG

Romans 1:4  but as the mighty Son of God he was raised from the dead and miraculously set apart[b] with a display of triumphant power supplied by the Spirit of Holiness.[c] And now Jesus is our Lord and our Messiah.

Through him a joy-producing grace cascaded into us, empowering us with the gift of apostleship,[d] so that we can win people from every nation into a faithful commitment to Jesus,[e] to bring honor to his name.

And you are among the chosen ones who received the call to belong to Jesus, the Anointed One.[f]

Rom 5:10 If, when we were at our worst, we were put on friendly terms with God by the sacrificial death of his Son, now that we’re at our best, just think of how our lives will expand and deepen by means of his resurrection life!   MSG

↓↓↓

Romans 5:10  So if while we were still enemies, God fully reconciled[a] us to himself through the death of his Son, then something greater than friendship is ours. Now that we are at peace with God, and because we share in his resurrection life, how much more we will be rescued from sin’s dominion! Passion

The Greek verb for reconciled is actually “exchanged.” That is, he exchanged our sins for his righteousness and thus reconciled us to God.

1 Corinthians 15:21For since death came through a man, Adam,[a] it is fitting that the resurrection of the dead has also come through a man, Christ.

22 Even as all who are in Adam die, so also all who are in Christ will be made alive. Passion

Ps 68:11 The Lord gives the word [of power]; the women who bear and publish [the news] are a great host. AMP

Matt 27:61 And Mary of Magdala and the other Mary kept sitting there opposite the tomb. AMP

Matthew 28:1 After the Sabbath ended, at the first light of dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary[a] went to take a look at the tomb.

2–4 Suddenly, the earth shook violently beneath their feet as the angel of the Lord Jehovah[b] descended from heaven. Lightning flashed around him and his robe was dazzling white! The guards were stunned and terrified—lying motionless like dead men. Then the angel walked up to the tomb, rolled away the stone, and sat on top of it!

The women were breathless and terrified, until the angel said to them, “There’s no reason to be afraid. I know you’re here looking for Jesus, who was crucified.

He isn’t here—he has risen victoriously,[c] just as he said! Come inside the tomb and see the place where our Lord was lying.[d]

Then run and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead! I give you his message: “I am going ahead of you in Galilee and you will see me there.”[e]

They rushed quickly to tell his disciples, and their hearts were deep in wonder and filled with great joy.

Along the way, Jesus suddenly appeared in front of them and said, “Rejoice!”[f] They were so overwhelmed by seeing him that they bowed down and grasped his feet in adoring worship.

10 Then Jesus said to them, “Throw off all your fears. Go and tell my brothers[g] to go to Galilee. They will find me there.” Passion

Luke 24:1 Very early that Sunday morning, the women made their way to the tomb, carrying the spices they had prepared. Among them were Mary Magdalene; Joanna; and Mary, Jesus’ mother.[a]

Arriving at the tomb they discovered that the huge stone covering the entrance had been rolled aside,

so they went in to look. But the tomb was empty. The body of Jesus was gone!

They stood there, stunned and perplexed. Suddenly two men in dazzling white robes shining like lightning appeared above them.[b]

Terrified, the women fell to the ground on their faces. The men in white said to them, “Why would you look for the living One[c] in a tomb? He is not here, for he has risen!

Have you forgotten what he said to you while he was still in Galilee:

‘The Son of Man is destined to be handed over to sinful men to be nailed to a cross, and on the third day he will rise again’?”

All at once they remembered his words.

Leaving the tomb, they went to break the news to the Eleven and to all the others of what they had seen and heard. Passion

John 20:11 Mary arrived back at the tomb, broken and sobbing. She stooped to peer inside, and through her tears

1she saw two angels in dazzling white robes, sitting where Jesus’ body had been laid—one at the head and one at the feet![c] JUST LIKE MERCYSEAT

13 “Dear woman, why are you crying?” they asked. Mary answered, “They have taken away my Lord, and I don’t know where they’ve laid him.”

14 Then she turned around to leave, and there was Jesus standing in front of her, but she didn’t realize that it was him!

15 He said to her, “Dear woman, why are you crying? Who are you looking for?”

Mary answered, thinking he was only the gardener, “Sir, if you have taken his body somewhere else, tell me, and I will go and . . .”

16 “Mary,” Jesus interrupted her. Turning to face him, she said, “Rabboni!” (Aramaic for “my teacher”)

17 Jesus cautioned her, “Mary, don’t hold on to me now, for I haven’t yet ascended to God, my Father. And he’s not only my Father and God, but now he’s your Father and your God! Now go to my brothers[d] and tell them what I’ve told you, that I am ascending to my Father—and your Father, to my God—and your God!” Passion

Acts 1:3 To them also He showed Himself alive after His passion (His suffering in the garden and on the cross) by [a series of] many convincing demonstrations [unquestionable evidences and infallible proofs], appearing to them during forty days and talking [to them] about the things of the kingdom of God.

4 And while being in their company and eating with them, He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem but to wait for what the Father had promised, Of which [He said] you have heard Me speak. AMP

Revelation 1:17  When I saw him, I fell down at his feet as good as dead,[k] but he laid his right hand on me[l] and I heard his reassuring voice saying: Don’t yield to fear. I am the Beginning and I am the End,

18 the Living One! I was dead, but now look—I am alive forever and ever. And I hold the keys[m] that unlock death and the unseen world. Passion

Phil 3:10 [For my determined purpose is] that I may know Him [that I may progressively become more deeply and intimately acquainted with Him, perceiving and recognizing and understanding the wonders of His Person more strongly and more clearly], and that I may in that same way come to know the power outflowing from His resurrection [which it exerts over believers], and that I may so share His sufferings as to be continually transformed [in spirit into His likeness even] to His death, [in the hope]

11 That if possible I may attain to the [spiritual and moral] resurrection [that lifts me] out from among the dead [even while in the body].

12 Not that I have now attained [this ideal], or have already been made perfect, but I press on to lay hold of (grasp) and make my own, that for which Christ Jesus (the Messiah) has laid hold of me and made me His own.

13 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward. AMP

Rom 8:11 And if the Spirit of Him Who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, [then] He Who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also restore to life your mortal (short-lived, perishable) bodies through His Spirit Who dwells in you.

AMP   ↓↓↓

Rom 8:11 It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if the alive-and-present God who raised Jesus from the dead moves into your life, he’ll do the same thing in you that he did in Jesus, bringing you alive to himself? When God lives and breathes in you (and he does, as surely as he did in Jesus), you are delivered from that dead life. With his Spirit living in you, your body will be as alive as Christ’s! MSG

1 Corinthians 15:16 If the dead aren’t raised up,[a] that would mean that Christ has not been raised up either.

17 And if Christ is not alive, you are still lost in your sins and your faith is a fantasy.

18 It would also mean that those believers in Christ who have passed away[a] have simply perished.

19 If the only benefit of our hope in Christ is limited to this life on earth, we deserve to be pitied more than all others![b]

20 But the truth is, Christ is risen from the dead, as the firstfruit[c] of a great resurrection harvest of those who have died. Passion

Gal 1:1 I, Paul, and my companions in faith here, send greetings to the Galatian churches. My authority for writing to you does not come from any popular vote of the people, nor does it come through the appointment of some human higher-up. It comes directly from Jesus the Messiah and God the Father, who raised him from the dead. I’m God-commissioned.

3 So I greet you with the great words, grace and peace!

4 We know the meaning of those words because Jesus Christ rescued us from this evil world we’re in by offering himself as a sacrifice for our sins. God’s plan is that we all experience that rescue.

5 Glory to God forever! Oh, yes! MSG

Col 3:1 So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides.

2 Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ — that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. MSG

↓↓↓

Colossians 3:1 Christ’s resurrection is your resurrection too. This is why we are to yearn for all that is above, for that’s where Christ sits enthroned at the place of all power, honor, and authority![a]

Yes, feast on all the treasures of the heavenly realm and fill your thoughts with heavenly realities, and not with the distractions of the natural realm. Passion

Eph 2:4 Instead, immense in mercy and with an incredible love,

5 he embraced us. He took our sin-dead lives and made us alive in Christ. He did all this on his own, with no help from us!

6 Then he picked us up and set us down in highest heaven in company with Jesus, our Messiah.

7 Now God has us where he wants us, with all the time in this world and the next to shower grace and kindness upon us in Christ Jesus. MSG
