THE WORDS OF JESUS TO HELP US FOR 2021

THE WORDS OF JESUS TO HELP US FOR 2021

At the end of every year, we look to hear what God has to say concerning the coming year. Today we would like to share the words of Jesus that are for every year, every occasion, and every circumstance.

Rev 19:10 Then I fell prostrate at his feet to worship (to pay divine honors) to him, but he [restrained me] and said, Refrain! [You must not do that!] I am [only] another servant with you and your brethren who have [accepted and hold] the testimony borne by Jesus. Worship God! For the substance (essence) of the truth revealed by Jesus is the spirit of all prophecy [the vital breath, the inspiration of all inspired preaching and interpretation of the divine will and purpose, including both mine and yours]. AMP

REV 19:10 At this I fell facedown at the angel’s feet to worship him, but he stopped me and said, “Don’t do this! For I am only a fellow servant with you and one of your brothers and sisters who cling to what Jesus testifies. Worship God. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy TPT

John 14:1-3 DO NOT let your hearts be troubled (distressed, agitated). You believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely on God; believe in and adhere to and trust in and rely also on Me.

2 In My Father’s house there are many dwelling places (homes). If it were not so, I would have told you; for I am going away to prepare a place for you.

3 And when (if) I go and make ready a place for you, I will come back again and will take you to Myself, that where I am you may be also.  AMP

Matt 22:36 “Teacher, which command in God’s Law is the most important?”

37 Jesus said, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.’

38 This is the most important, the first on any list.

39 But there is a second to set alongside it: ‘Love others as well as you love yourself.’

40 These two commands are pegs; everything in God’s Law and the Prophets hangs from them.” MSG

JOHN 10:10 A thief has only one thing in mind—he wants to steal, slaughter, and destroy. But I have come to give you everything in abundance, more than you expectlife in its fullness until you overflow! TPT

MATT 6:9 Pray like this: Our Father, dwelling in the heavenly realms, may the glory of your namebe the center on which our lives turn TPT

JN 6:35  Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread of Life. Come every day to me and you will never be hungry. Believe in me and you will never be thirsty.TPT

John 6:37 All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]. AMP

John 6:40 This is what my Father wants: that anyone who sees the Son and trusts who he is and what he does and then aligns with him will enter real life, eternal life. My part is to put them on their feet alive and whole at the completion of time.”  MSG

John 8:12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.   AMP

▼▼▼

JN 8:12  Then Jesus said, “I am light to the world and those who embrace me will experience life-giving light, and they will never walk in darkness.”  TPT

JN 10:11 I am the Good Shepherd who lays down my life as a sacrifice for the sheep. TPT

John 11:11 He said these things, and then announced, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep. I’m going to wake him up.”

12 The disciples said, “Master, if he’s gone to sleep, he’ll get a good rest and wake up feeling fine.”

13 Jesus was talking about death, while his disciples thought he was talking about taking a nap.

14 Then Jesus became explicit: “Lazarus died.

15 And I am glad for your sakes that I wasn’t there. You’re about to be given new grounds for believing. Now let’s go to him.”

16 That’s when Thomas, the one called the Twin, said to his companions, “Come along. We might as well die with him.”  MSG

John 11:25  “You don’t have to wait for the End. I am, right now, Resurrection and Life. The one who believes in me, even though he or she dies, will live.

26 And everyone who lives believing in me does not ultimately die at all. Do you believe this?”   MSG

JN 15:5 “I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. TPT

MATT 11:28-30 “Are you weary, carrying a heavy burden? Then come to me. I will refresh your life, for I am your oasis.

29 Simply join your life with mine. Learn my ways and you’ll discover that I’m gentle,  humble, easy to please. You will find refreshment and rest in me.

30 For all that I require of you will be pleasant and easy to bear.” TPT

LUKE 23:34  While they were nailing Jesus to the cross, he prayed over and over, “Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they’re doing.” The soldiers, after they crucified him, gambled over his clothing. TPT

John 18:36 “My kingdom,” said Jesus, “doesn’t consist of what you see around you. If it did, my followers would fight so that I wouldn’t be handed over to the Jews. But I’m not that kind of king, not the world’s kind of king.”

37 Then Pilate said, “So, are you a king or not?” MSG

Matt 6:20  Stockpile treasure in heaven, where it’s safe from moth and rust and burglars.

21 It’s obvious, isn’t it? The place where your treasure is, is the place you will most want to be, and end up being. MSG

MATT 6:30-34 So if God has clothed the meadow with hay, which is here for such a short time and then dried up and burned, won’t he provide for you the clothes you need—even though you live with such little faith?

31 “So then, forsake your worries! Why would you say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’

32 For that is what the unbelievers chase after. Doesn’t your heavenly Father already know the things your bodies require?

33 So above all, constantly chase after the realm of God’s kingdom and the righteousness that proceeds from him. Then all these less important things will be given to you abundantly.

34 Refuse to worry about tomorrow, but deal with each challenge that comes your way, one day at a time. Tomorrow will take care of itself.” TPT

REV 1:16 In his right hand he held seven stars, and out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. And his face was shining like the brightness of the blinding sun!

17 When I saw him, I fell down at his feet as good as dead, but he laid his right hand on meand I heard his reassuring voice saying:Don’t yield to fear. I am the Beginning and I am the End,

18 the Living One! I was dead, but now look—I am alive forever and ever. And I hold the keysthat unlock death and the unseen world.

19 Now I want you to write what you have seen, what is, and what will be after the things that I reveal to you.  TPT

Matt 16:15 He pressed them, “And how about you? Who do you say I am?”

16 Simon Peter said, “You’re the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

17 Jesus came back, “God bless you, Simon, son of Jonah! You didn’t get that answer out of books or from teachers. My Father in heaven, God himself, let you in on this secret of who I really am.

18 And now I’m going to tell you who you are, really are. You are Peter, a rock. This is the rock on which I will put together my church, a church so expansive with energy that not even the gates of hell will be able to keep it out.

19 “And that’s not all. You will have complete and free access to God’s kingdom, keys to open any and every door: no more barriers between heaven and earth, earth and heaven. A yes on earth is yes in heaven. A no on earth is no in heaven.”  MSG

Matt 28:20 Teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days (perpetually, uniformly, and on every occasion), to the [very] close and consummation of the age. Amen (so let it be). AMP

JN 14:16-20  And I will ask the Father and he will give you another Savior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you will know him intimately, because he will make his home in you and will live inside you.

18 “I promise that I will never leave you helpless or abandon you as orphans—I will come back to you!

19 Soon I will leave this world and they will see me no longer, but you will see me, because I will live again, and you will come alive too.

20 So when that day comes, you will know that I am living in the Father and that you are one with me, for I will be living in you.  TPT

JN 14:25-27  I am telling you this while I am still with you.

26 But when the Father sends the Spirit of Holiness, the One like me who sets you free, he will teach you all things in my name. And he will inspire you to remember every word that I’ve told you.

27 “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous! TPT

JN 16:33 And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world!” TPT

JN 6:52 -57  These words of Jesus sparked an angry outburst among the Jews. They protested, saying, “Does this man expect us to eat his body?”

53 Jesus replied to them, “Listen to this eternal truth: Unless you eat the body of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have eternal life.

54 Eternal life comes to the one who eats my body and drinks my blood, and I will raise him up in the last day.

55 For my body is real food for your spirit and my blood is real drink.

56 The one who eats my body and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in him.

57 The Father of life sent me, and he is my life. In the same way, the one who feeds upon me, I will become his life.  TPT

RECOGNIZING JESUS 12-25-2020

RECOGNIZING JESUS  12-25-2020

Before Jesus was born Mary had heard the stories and prophecy of the promised Messiah. We will look at people that looked for him and recognized  him.

by the promise.

Luke 1:43  And how [have I deserved that this honor should] be granted to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?

44 For behold, the instant the sound of your salutation reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.  AMP

▼▼▼

Luke 1:43 And why am I so blessed that the mother of my Lord visits me?

44 The moment the sound of your greeting entered my ears, The babe in my womb skipped like a lamb for sheer joy.  MSG

Luke 2:25 In Jerusalem at the time, there was a man, Simeon by name, a good man, a man who lived in the prayerful expectancy of help for Israel. And the Holy Spirit was on him.

26 The Holy Spirit had shown him that he would see the Messiah of God before he died.

27 Led by the Spirit, he entered the Temple. As the parents of the child Jesus brought him in to carry out the rituals of the Law,

28 Simeon took him into his arms and blessed God:

29 God, you can now release your servant; release me in peace as you promised.

30 With my own eyes I’ve seen your salvation;

31 it’s now out in the open for everyone to see:

32 A God-revealing light to the non-Jewish nations, and of glory for your people Israel.  MSG

  ▼▼▼

LUKE 2:25-32 As they came to the temple to fulfill this requirement, an elderly man was there waiting—a resident of Jerusalem whose name was Simeon. He was a very good man, a lover of God who kept himself pure, and the Spirit of holiness rested upon him. Simeon believed in the imminent appearing of the one called “The Refreshing of Israel.”

26 For the Holy Spirit had revealed to himthat he would not see death before he saw the Messiah, the Anointed One of God.

27 For this reason the Holy Spirit had moved him to be in the temple court at the very moment Jesus’ parents entered to fulfill the requirement of the sacrifice.

28 Simeon cradled the baby in his arms and praised God and prophesied, saying:

29–31 “Lord and Master, I am your loving servant, and now I can die content, for your promise to me has been fulfilled. With my own eyes I have seen your Word, the Savior you sent into the world.

32 He will be glory for your people Israel, and the Revelation Light for all people everywhere!” TPT

Luke 2:36 Anna the prophetess was also there, a daughter of Phanuel from the tribe of Asher. She was by now a very old woman. She had been married seven years

37 and a widow for eighty-four. She never left the Temple area, worshiping night and day with her fastings and prayers.

38 At the very time Simeon was praying, she showed up, broke into an anthem of praise to God, and talked about the child to all who were waiting expectantly for the freeing of Jerusalem.   MSG

▼▼▼

LUKE 2:36-38 A prophetess named Anna was also in the temple court that day. She was from the Jewish tribe of Asher and the daughter of Phanuel. Anna was an aged widow who had been married only seven years before her husband passed away. After he died she chose to worship God in the temple continually. For the past eighty-four yearsshe had been serving God with night-and-day prayer and fasting.

38 While Simeon was prophesying over Mary and Joseph and the baby, Anna walked up to them and burst forth with a great chorus of praise to God for the child. And from that day forward she told everyone in Jerusalem who was waiting for their redemption that the anticipated Messiah had come  TPT

Luke 2:8  There were sheepherders camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep.

9 Suddenly, God’s angel stood among them and God’s glory blazed around them. They were terrified.

10 The angel said, “Don’t be afraid. I’m here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide:

11 A Savior has just been born in David’s town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master.

12 This is what you’re to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger.”  MSG

▼▼▼

Luke 2:8-12 And in that vicinity there were shepherds living [out under the open sky] in the field, watching [in shifts] over their flock by night.

9 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by them, and the glory of the Lord flashed and shone all about them, and they were terribly frightened.

10 But the angel said to them, Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of a great joy which will come to all the people.

11 For to you is born this day in the town of David a Savior, Who is Christ (the Messiah) the Lord!

12 And this will be a sign for you [by which you will recognize Him]: you will find [after searching] a Baby wrapped in swaddling clothes and lying in a manger.  AMP

Matt 2:9 Instructed by the king, they set off. Then the star appeared again, the same star they had seen in the eastern skies. It led them on until it hovered over the place of the child.

10 They could hardly contain themselves: They were in the right place! They had arrived at the right time!

11 They entered the house and saw the child in the arms of Mary, his mother. Overcome, they kneeled and worshiped him. Then they opened their luggage and presented gifts: gold, frankincense, myrrh.

12 In a dream, they were warned not to report back to Herod. So they worked out another route, left the territory without being seen, and returned to their own country.   MSG

▼▼▼

MATT 2:9-12 And so they left, and on their way to Bethlehem, suddenly the same star they had seen in the East reappeared! Amazed, they watched as it went ahead of them and stopped directly over the place where the child was.

10 And when they saw the star, they were so ecstatic that they shouted and celebrated with unrestrained joy.

11 When they came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, they were overcome. Falling to the ground at his feet they worshiped him. Then they opened their treasure boxesfull of gifts and presented him with gold, frank-incense, and myrrh.

12 Afterward they returned to their own country by another route because God had warned them in a dream not to go back to Herod. TPT

John 1:11 He came to his own people, but they didn’t want him.

12 But whoever did want him, who believed he was who he claimed and would do what he said, He made to be their true selves, their child-of-God selves.

13 These are the God-begotten, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten.

14 The Word became flesh and blood, and moved into the neighborhood. We saw the glory with our own eyes, the one-of-a-kind glory, like Father, like Son, Generous inside and out, true from start to finish. MSG

Acts 13:27 For those who dwell in Jerusalem and their rulers, because they did not know or recognize Him or understand the utterances of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, have actually fulfilled these very predictions by condemning and sentencing [Him].  AMP

1 Cor 3:18 Let no person deceive himself. If anyone among you supposes that he is wise in this age, let him become a fool [let him discard his worldly discernment and recognize himself as dull, stupid, and foolish, without true learning and scholarship], that he may become [really] wise.  AMP

1 John 2:5 But he who keeps (treasures) His Word [who bears in mind His precepts, who observes His message in its entirety], truly in him has the love of and for God been perfected (completed, reached maturity). By this we may perceive (know, recognize, and be sure) that we are in Him:  AMP

So here we are Christmas Day 2020. Celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. And there is a certain expectation in our hearts anticipating His return and a new outpouring of the Holy Spirit. We were recognize these coming times and prepare the way of the Lord. Or we will serve our own agendas or distractions and missed the promise to come.

REGAINING YOUR FOCUS 12-20-2020

REGAINING YOUR FOCUS  12-20-2020

Focus means to concentrate, to see to be single minded about something at the expense of all other distractions. We have always been the Father’s focus. Jesus did so many miracles of restoring sight to the blind. It is a time for us to have our sight restored. Our vision strengthened, so we can see what lies before us without distraction.

Matt 13:13  That’s why I tell stories: to create readiness, to nudge the people toward receptive insight. In their present state they can stare till doomsday and not see it, listen till they’re blue in the face and not get it. MSG

Isa 61:1 THE SPIRIT of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed and qualified me to preach the Gospel of good tidings to the meek, the poor, and afflicted; He has sent me to bind up and heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the [physical and spiritual] captives and the opening of the prison and of the eyes to those who are bound,  AMP

Luke 4:18 God’s Spirit is on me; he’s chosen me to preach the Message of good news to the poor, Sent me to announce pardon to prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, To set the burdened and battered free,  TPT

Mark 8:25 So Jesus laid hands on his eyes again. The man looked hard and realized that he had recovered perfect sight, saw everything in bright, twenty-twenty focus. MSG

Luke 7:21 In that very hour Jesus was healing many [people] of sicknesses and distressing bodily plagues and evil spirits, and to many who were blind He gave [a free, gracious, joy-giving gift of] sight.  AMP

Phil 3:13-16 I do not consider, brethren, that I have captured and made it my own [yet]; but one thing I do [it is my one aspiration]: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead,

14 I press on toward the goal to win the [supreme and heavenly] prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward.

15 So let those [of us] who are spiritually mature and full-grown have this mind and hold these convictions; and if in any respect you have a different attitude of mind, God will make that clear to you also.

16 Only let us hold true to what we have already attained and walk and order our lives by that. AMP

▼▼▼

PHIL 3:13-16 I don’t depend on my own strength to accomplish this; however I do have one compelling focus: I forget all of the past as I fasten my heart to the future instead.

14 I run straight for the divine invitation of reaching the heavenly goal and gaining the victory-prize through the anointing of Jesus.

15 So let all who are fully mature have this same passion, and if anyone is not yet gripped by these desires, God will reveal it to them.

16 And let us all advance together to reach this victory-prize, following one path with one passion.  TPT

Matt 6:6 “Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace. MSG

Rom 3:31 But by shifting our focus from what we do to what God does, don’t we cancel out all our careful keeping of the rules and ways God commanded? Not at all. What happens, in fact, is that by putting that entire way of life in its proper place, we confirm it.  MSG

Rom 4:19  Abraham didn’t focus on his own impotence and say, “It’s hopeless. This hundred-year-old body could never father a child.” Nor did he survey Sarah’s decades of infertility and give up.

20 He didn’t tiptoe around God’s promise asking cautiously skeptical questions. He plunged into the promise and came up strong, ready for God,

21 sure that God would make good on what he had said.  MSG ▼▼▼

ROM 4:19-21 In spite of being nearly one hundred years old when the promise of having a son was made, his faith was so strong that it could not be undermined by the fact that he and Sarahwere incapable of conceiving a child.

20–21 He never stopped believing God’s promise, for he was made strong in his faithto father a child. And because he was mighty in faith and convinced that God had all the power needed to fulfill his promises, Abraham glorified God! TPT

Gal 3:1 You crazy Galatians! Did someone put a hex on you? Have you taken leave of your senses? Something crazy has happened, for it’s obvious that you no longer have the crucified Jesus in clear focus in your lives. His sacrifice on the Cross was certainly set before you clearly enough. MSG

 ▼▼▼

Gal 3:1   O YOU poor and silly and thoughtless and unreflecting and senseless Galatians! Who has fascinated or bewitched or cast a spell over you, unto whom — right before your very eyes — Jesus Christ (the Messiah) was openly and graphically set forth and portrayed as crucified?  AMP

Ps 34:8  Open your mouth and taste, open your eyes and see — how good God is.

Blessed are you who run to him. MSG

Eph 1:4 Even as [in His love] He chose us [actually picked us out for Himself as His own] in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy (consecrated and set apart for Him) and blameless in His sight, even above reproach, before Him in love.  AMP

Num 13:33 There we saw the Nephilim [or giants], the sons of Anak, who come from the giants; and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. AMP

Num 14:6-9 And Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among the scouts who had searched the land, rent their clothes,

7 And they said to all the company of Israelites, The land through which we passed as scouts is an exceedingly good land.

8 If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land flowing with milk and honey.

9 Only do not rebel against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land, for they are bread for us. Their defense and the shadow [of protection] is removed from over them, but the Lord is with us. Fear them not.   AMP

ACTS 9:17-22 Ananias left and found the house where Saul was staying. He went inside and laid hands on him, saying, “Saul, my brother, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on the road, has sent me to pray for you so that you might see again and be filled to overflowing with the Holy Spirit.”

18 All at once, the crusty substance that was over Saul’s eyes disappeared and he could see perfectly. Immediately, he got up and was baptized.

19 After eating a meal, his strength returned.

20 Within the hourhe was in the synagogues, preaching about Jesus and proclaiming, “Jesus is the Son of God!”

21 Those who heard him were astonished, saying among themselves, “Isn’t this the Saul who furiously persecuted those in Jerusalem who called on the name of Jesus? Didn’t he come here with permission from the high priest to drag them off and take them as prisoners?”

22 Saul’s power increased greatly as he became more and more proficient in proving that Jesus was the anointed Messiah. Saul remained there for several days with the disciples, even though it agitated the Jews of Damascus. TPT

Acts 26:17 “‘I’m sending you off

18 to open the eyes of the outsiders so they can see the difference between dark and light, and choose light, see the difference between Satan and God, and choose God. I’m sending you off to present my offer of sins forgiven, and a place in the family, inviting them into the company of those who begin real living by believing in me.’ MSG

Rev 3:18 Therefore I counsel you to purchase from Me gold refined and tested by fire, that you may be [truly] wealthy, and white clothes to clothe you and to keep the shame of your nudity from being seen, and salve to put on your eyes, that you may see. AMP   ▼▼▼

REV 3:18 So I counsel you to purchase goldperfected by fire, so that you can be truly rich. Purchase a white garment to cover and clothe your shameful Adam-nakedness.Purchase eye salve to be placed over your eyes so that you can truly see. TPT

Ps 36:9 For with You is the fountain of life; in Your light do we see light.  AMP

Ps 63:2 So I have looked upon You in the sanctuary to see Your power and Your glory.  AMP

Ps 69:32 The humble shall see it and be glad; you who seek God, inquiring for and requiring Him [as your first need], let your hearts revive and live!  AMP

▼▼▼

Ps 69:32 The poor in spirit see and are glad — Oh, you God-seekers, take heart! MSG

ISA 33:17 In this high place, your eyes will see the kingin his stunning beauty and gaze upon his broad domain. TPT

Luke 10:23-25  He then turned in a private aside to his disciples. “Fortunate the eyes that see what you’re seeing!

24 There are plenty of prophets and kings who would have given their right arm to see what you are seeing but never got so much as a glimpse, to hear what you are hearing but never got so much as a whisper.”  MSG

 ▼▼▼

Luke 10:23 Then turning to His disciples, He said privately, Blessed (happy, to be envied) are those whose eyes see what you see!

24 For I tell you that many prophets and kings longed to see what you see and they did not see it, and to hear what you hear and they did not hear it. AMP

1 John 3:2  But friends, that’s exactly who we are: children of God. And that’s only the beginning. Who knows how we’ll end up! What we know is that when Christ is openly revealed, we’ll see him — and in seeing him, become like him. MSG

Isa 42:5  Here are the words of the true God, Yahweh, the one who created the starry heavens and stretched them out. He is the one who formed the earth and filled it with life. He gives breath to every person and spirit to everyone everywhere.
“I, Yahweh, have commissioned you in righteousness to succeed. I will take your hand in love and watch over you. I will give you as a covenant for the people, a walking-light to the nations.
Your mission is to open blind eyes, to set prisoners free from dark dwellings, and to open prison doors to those who are held by darkness. TPT

HARVEST 12-13-2020

THE HARVEST by Mary Dorian  12-13-2020

Matthew 13:24-30 Then Jesus taught themanother parable:

“Heaven’s kingdom realm can be compared to a farmer who planted good seed in his field.

25 But at night, when everyone was asleep, an enemy came and planted poisonous weedsamong the wheat and ran away.

26 When the wheat sprouted and bore grain, the weeds also appeared.

27 So the farmer’s hired hands came to him and said, ‘Sir, wasn’t that good seed that you sowed in the field? Where did all these weeds come from?’

28 “He answered, ‘This has to be the work of an enemy!’

“They replied, ‘Do you want us to go and gather up all the weeds?’

29 “‘No,’ he said. ‘If you pull out the weeds you might uproot the wheat at the same time. 30 You must allow them both to grow together until the time of harvest. At that time, I’ll tell my harvesters to make sure they gather the weeds first and tie them all in bundles to be burned. Then they will harvest the wheat and put it into my barn.’” TPT

Matthew 13:36-42 Jesus left the crowds and went inside the house where he was staying. Then his disciples approached him and asked, “Please explain the deeper meaning of the parable of the weeds growing in the field of wheat.”

37 He answered, “The man who sowed his field with good seed represents me, the Son of Man.

38 And the field is the world. The good seeds I sow are the children of the kingdom realm. The weeds are the children of the Evil One,

39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest points to the end of this age, and the harvesters are God’s messengers.[

40 As the weeds are bundled up and thrown into the fire, so it will be at the close of the age.

41 The Son of Man will send his messengers, and they will uproot everything out of his kingdom. All the lawless ones and everything that causes sin will be removed. 42 And they will throw them into the fiery furnace, where they will experience great sorrow, pain, and anguish. TPT

John 4:34-37 Then Jesus spoke up and said, “My food is to be doing the will of him who sent me and bring it to completion.”

35 As the crowds emerged from the village, Jesus said to his disciples, “Why would you say, ‘The harvest is another four months away’? Look at all the people coming—now is harvest time! For their hearts are like vast fields of ripened grain—ready for a spiritual harvest.

36 And everyone who reaps these souls for eternal life will receive a reward. And those who plant spiritual seeds and those who reap the harvest will celebrate together with great joy!

37 And this confirms the saying, ‘One sows the seed and another reaps the harvest. TPT

John 4:34 Jesus said to them, My food (nourishment) is to do the will (pleasure) of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish and completely finish His work.

35 Do you not say, It is still four months until harvest time comes? Look! I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields and see how they are already white for harvesting.

36 Already the reaper is getting his wages [he who does the cutting now has his reward], for he is gathering fruit (crop) unto life eternal, so that he who does the planting and he who does the reaping may rejoice together.

37 For in this the saying holds true, One sows and another reaps.  AMP

John 14:16-17 And I will ask the Father and he will give you anotherSavior, the Holy Spirit of Truth, who will be to you a friend just like me—and he will never leave you. The world won’t receive him because they can’t see him or know him. But you will know him intimately, because he will make his home in you and will live inside you. TPT

John 16:5-15 But now that I’m about to leave you and go back to join the One who sent me, you need to be told. Yet, not one of you are asking me where I’m going.

Instead your hearts are filled with sadness because I’ve told you these things.

But here’s the truth: It’s to your advantage that I go away, for if I don’t go away the Divine Encouragerwill not be released to you. But after I depart, I will send him to you. And when he comes, he will expose sin and prove that the world is wrong about God’s righteousness and his judgments.

“‘Sin,’ because they refuse to believe in who I am.

10 “God’s ‘righteousness,’ because I’m going back to join the Father and you’ll see me no longer.

11 “And ‘judgment’ because the ruler of this dark world has already received his sentence.

12 “There is so much more I would like to say to you, but it’s more than you can grasp at this moment.

13 But when the truth-giving Spirit comes, he will unveil the reality of every truthwithin you. He won’t speak his own message, but only what he hears from the Father, and he will reveal prophetically to you what is to come.

14 He will glorify me on the earth, for he will receive from me what is mineand reveal it to you.

15 Everything that belongs to the Father belongs to me—that’s why I say that the Divine Encourager will receive what is mine and reveal it to you.  TPT

Acts 1:6-11 Every time they were gathered together, they asked Jesus, “Lord, is it the time now for you to free Israel and restore our kingdom?”

He answered, “The Father is the one who sets the fixed dates and the times of their fulfillment. You are not permitted to know the timing of all that he has prepared by his own authority. But I promise you this—the Holy Spirit will come upon you and you will be filled with power.[a] And you will be my messengers[b] to Jerusalem, throughout Judea, the distant provinces[c]—even to the remotest places on earth!”[d]

Right after he spoke those words, the disciples saw Jesus lifted into the sky and disappear into a cloud!

10 As they stared into the sky, watching Jesus ascend, two men in white robes suddenly appeared beside them.

11 They told the startled disciples, “Galileans, why are you staring up into the sky? Jesus has been taken from you into heaven, but he will come back the same way that you saw him ascend.”  TPT

Rev 10:5-7 Then the mighty angel whom I saw astride the sea and the land raised his right hand to heaven

7 But that when the days come when the trumpet call of the seventh angel is about to be sounded, then God’s mystery (His secret design, His hidden purpose), as He had announced the glad tidings to His servants the prophets, should be fulfilled (accomplished, completed). AMP

John 9:4-5 While I am with you, it is daytime and we must do the works of God who sent me while the light shines. For there is coming a dark night when no one will be able to work.

John 16:33 I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. John 16:33 And everything I’ve taught you is so that the peace which is in me will be in you and will give you great confidence as you rest in me. For in this unbelieving world you will experience trouble and sorrows, but you must be courageous, for I have conquered the world! TPT

HOLD FAST YOUR CONFESSION 12-6-2020

HOLD FAST TO YOUR CONFESSION  12-6-2020

Hold fast means to remain tightly secured. It means to bear down and go through the storm.

Confession means to declare your faith, to profess. Don’t let anything else proceed out of your mouth. Christ is the word and he bears witness with you as you confess Him, the word.

Rom 10:9 Because if you acknowledge and confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and in your heart believe (adhere to, trust in, and rely on the truth) that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. AMP

▼▼▼

RO 10:9 And what is God’s “living message”? It is the revelation of faith for salvation, which is the message that we preach. For if you publicly declare with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will experience salvation.  TPT

▼▼▼

Ro 10:9 Now your salvation is realized! Your own words echo Gods voice. The unveiling of the masterful act of Jesus forms the words in your mouth, inspired by the conviction that is in your heart that God indeed raised him from the dead. Mirror

Matt 10:32 Therefore, everyone who acknowledges Me before men and confesses Me [out of a state of oneness with Me], I will also acknowledge him before My Father Who is in heaven and confess [that I am abiding in] him. AMP

Heb 3:1 SO THEN, brethren, consecrated and set apart for God, who share in the heavenly calling, [thoughtfully and attentively] consider Jesus, the Apostle and High Priest Whom we confessed [as ours when we embraced the Christian faith]. AMP  ▼▼▼

Heb 3:1 Friends, in the context of our co-inclusion in Christ, we are blameless; we participate in his heavenly identity. Phil 2:10 That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,

▼▼▼

PHIL 2:10-11 The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm.

11 And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,” bringing glory and honor to God, his Father TPT

1 Tim 6:12 Fight the good fight of the faith; lay hold of the eternal life to which you were summoned and [for which] you confessed the good confession [of faith] before many witnesses.

13 In the presence of God, Who preserves alive all living things, and of Christ Jesus, Who in His testimony before Pontius Pilate made the good confession, I [solemnly] charge you  AMP

 ▼▼▼

1 TIM 6:12-13 So fight with faith for the winner’s prize! Lay your hands upon eternal life, for this is your calling—celebrating in faith before the multitude of witnesses!

HEB 4:14-16 So then, we must cling in faith to all we know to be true. For we have a magnificent King-Priest, Jesus Christ, the Son of God, who rose into the heavenly realm for us, and now sympathizes with us in our frailty.

15 He understands humanity, for as a Man, our magnificent King-Priest was tempted in every way just as we are, and conquered sin.

16 So now we come freely and boldly to where love is enthroned, to receive mercy’s kiss and discover the grace we urgently need to strengthenus in our time of weakness. TPT

Heb 4:14-16  Now that we know what we have — Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God — let’s not let it slip through our fingers.

15 We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all — all but the sin.

TIME TO REST IN EXPECTION OF WHAT WILL COME 12-4-2020

TIME TO REST–IN EXPECTION OF WHAT WILL COME  12-4-2020

Rest is our greatest weapon. As Christians we should be the most peaceful, calm, tranquil people in the whole world. The enemy cannot penetrate the armor of a person who is at rest in God.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. [Stop allowing yourselves to be agitated and disturbed; and do not permit yourselves to be fearful and intimidated and cowardly and unsettled.]  AMP  ▼▼▼

John 14:27  I’m leaving you well and whole. That’s my parting gift to you. Peace. I don’t leave you the way you’re used to being left — feeling abandoned, bereft. So don’t be upset. Don’t be distraught.  MSG

MT 8:23-27 They all got into a boat and began to cross over to the other side of the lake. And Jesus, exhausted, fell asleep.

25 The disciples woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We’re going to die!”

26 But Jesus reprimanded them. “Why are you gripped with fear? Where is your faith?” Then he stood up and rebuked the storm and said, “Be still!” And instantly it became perfectly calm

27 The disciples were astonished by this miracle and said to one another, “Who is this Man? Even the wind and waves obey his Word.” TPT
